Madison & Nash’s Beautiful Wedding at Legacy Lane in Brooksville, Florida

On June 20th, Sierra and De'lontay celebrated the beginning of their forever with a beautiful wedding day along the shores of Pass-a-Grille Beach in St. Petersburg, Florida. Surrounded by the people they love most, the couple exchanged vows against a breathtaking backdrop of soft sand, gentle waves, and the warm Florida sunshine.

Jessica + Michael Step Into The Limelight | Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort, FL

A Timeless Coastal Wedding at Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort

There are some wedding days that feel effortlessly joyful from beginning to end, and Jessica + Michael’s beautiful FL Wedding at Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort was exactly that. From the moment I arrived as their FL Wedding Photographer for Limelight Photography, you could feel how deeply connected these two are, not only to each other, but to the people surrounding them.

Jessica and Michael first met at M.Bird rooftop bar on July 31, 2021, and their love story has been full of adventure ever since. From traveling together and golfing to their goal of visiting every NFL, NHL, and MLB stadium, these two truly know how to enjoy life side by side. Their romantic Paris proposal felt straight out of a movie, complete with croissants, vineyard views in Sancerre, champagne, and the sweetest surprise proposal overlooking the French countryside.

As a Florida Bride, Jessica envisioned an elevated coastal celebration with breathtaking beach views while still keeping the elegance of a luxury venue, and the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach delivered perfectly. Their ceremony on the stunning 16th floor Sky Terrace created the dreamiest backdrop for heartfelt vows and emotional moments.

And once the reception began, it truly became the party they had dreamed of. The dance floor stayed packed all night with nonstop energy, laughter, and celebration from everyone they love most. These are the kinds of wedding days that remind me exactly why I love what I do and why couples continue to Step Into The Limelight with us.

Jessica + Michael, thank you for trusting me to tell your story. It was such an honor to celebrate alongside you both and document every meaningful moment of your unforgettable Clearwater Bride wedding day.

An Elegant Beach Wedding for a Love That Feels Like Home

There are love stories that take years to unfold… and then there are the ones that start exactly where all great decisions begin — at a bar with friends, a little noise, a little chaos, and absolutely no expectations.

August 18, 2018. A normal night at Romigs… until it wasn’t.

He and his friends sat down next to her and her friends, and somewhere between casual conversation, laughter, and probably a “just one more drink,” something clicked. You know that kind of conversation that flows so easily you forget to check your phone? That was it. And before the night ended, he asked for her number  a simple moment that quietly changed everything.

Fast forward to a proposal that feels like it belongs in a movie. A luau, surrounded by family, in Lahaina, Maui. The kind of setting where the air feels softer, time slows down, and suddenly one question becomes the easiest “yes” in the world.

What makes them work isn’t just chemistry it’s alignment. The kind that’s rare. They genuinely like each other. They agree on what matters. Their values match, their priorities are clear, and no matter what, they choose each other first. Always. And honestly, in a world that loves complications, there’s something incredibly beautiful about a love that just… fits.

Their life together is full of the good stuff boating days under the sun, vacations that turn into memories you wish you could replay, nights back at Romigs (because of course they still go back to where it all began), and those simple, cozy moments at home watching shows and doing absolutely nothing… together.

And that same energy carried into their wedding day.

Nothing overcomplicated. Nothing forced. Just simple, elegant, and deeply intentional. Black and white, clean and timeless because when the love is this strong, you don’t need distractions. The beach wasn’t just a backdrop, it was part of their story. A place that reflects who they are: calm, beautiful, and effortlessly meaningful. But what truly made this wedding unforgettable wasn’t just the setting it was the feeling.

This wasn’t a one-day celebration. It was a full weekend surrounded by the people who matter most. The kind of gathering where laughter starts early and doesn’t really stop, where every moment feels like a continuation of the last, and where love isn’t just between two people it’s everywhere.

One of the most emotional moments? The walk down the aisle with her dad. The kind of moment that doesn’t need words because everyone already understands what it means. You could feel it. That connection, that closeness it filled the entire space.

And then, of course, the dance floor.

Because if you know them, you know this wasn’t going to be a quiet reception. This was the kind of party where shoes are optional, laughter is loud, and no one checks the time. Just pure joy, music, and the kind of celebration that people talk about long after it’s over.

Ironically, for a couple who doesn’t love being the center of attention, one of the most memorable moments will probably be walking back down the aisle together that little breath of relief, that shared look of “we did it,” and the quiet happiness that follows after all eyes finally move away.

If you had to sum up how they wanted everyone to feel in just a few words? Relaxed. Special. Joyful. Excited. And they absolutely nailed it.

As a photographer, I’ve witnessed many beautiful weddings but some stay with you in a different way. This was one of them. There was something so genuine, so warm, so full of life about their energy that it didn’t feel like work for a second. I felt honored to be there, to document it, to be trusted with something so meaningful. It felt less like being hired… and more like being invited into something truly special.

Their love is not loud in a showy way it’s steady, real, and deeply rooted. The kind of love that doesn’t need to prove anything, because you can feel it in every glance, every laugh, every quiet moment in between. And honestly? That’s the best kind of love story there is.

Studio 131 Steps Into The Limelight | Studio 131 | Largo, FL

Modern Romance in Burgundy & Olive at Studio 131

Studio 131 in Largo, Florida set the stage for a modern, romantic styled shoot that blended sculptural florals, candlelit tablescapes, and sleek fashion. The palette leaned into deep burgundy, olive and moss greens, warm taupe, and creamy ivory, creating an editorial look that still felt welcoming and timeless.

The Look & Feel

JoBelle Design transformed the Ballroom, Courtyard, Lounge, and waterfront spaces with burgundy anthurium, white calla lilies, trailing amaranthus, and lush greens. Olive velvet linens, clear glass, and tall tapers cast a soft glow, while a minimalist strapless gown and tailored suiting added clean, architectural lines. Every vignette—from an intimate sweetheart table to the oak-tree ceremony setting—was styled to be both photogenic and functional for a real wedding flow.

How It Was Captured

Adrian from Limelight Photography documented the design with an eye for texture, light, and movement, highlighting the contrast between soft candlelight and bold florals. Christina of Heart & Root led her studio’s coverage and added a nostalgic spin with a vintage Super-8–style film camera (yes, the one that goes whir-whir-click). Those film snippets brought a dreamy, tactile layer to the story—proof that modern design and old-school romance play beautifully together.

Why It Inspired Couples

The design proved that couples can be bold and timeless at once: rich, moody florals grounded by natural greens; minimalist fashion balanced by romantic, candlelit atmosphere. It’s a look that translated seamlessly from indoor ballroom to outdoor ceremony, and it photographed like a dream at golden hour.
