There is something magical about a wedding at the iconic Pink Palace, and Jeff + Lynn’s celebration at The Don CeSar in St. Pete Beach was filled with family, laughter, pink details and one absolutely gorgeous Gulf Coast sunset. 💕🌴🌸
More than anything, this wedding was about family.
Jeff + Lynn celebrated their marriage surrounded by the people they love most, including their four children, Jordyn, Daphne, Tiffany and Gary. Having their entire family together at The Don CeSar created so many opportunities for photographs that felt joyful, personal and completely true to this season of their lives.
And, of course, there was PINK everywhere! 💗

Family Wedding Photos at The Don CeSar
One of my favorite photographs from the entire wedding happened completely spontaneously.
We were photographing Jeff + Lynn with their family when everyone suddenly wrapped themselves into one enormous group hug. They were laughing, squeezing each other and genuinely enjoying the moment.
I immediately dropped down to the ground 😂📸 and photographed straight up toward everyone so I could see ALL of their faces laughing together.
I LOVE moments like this!!!
Those are the photographs that become family history. They are not necessarily something we could have planned on a wedding photography shot list. They happen because everyone feels comfortable enough to simply be together, and we are ready when they do. ❤️
A South Terrace Wedding at The Don CeSar
Jeff + Lynn exchanged vows outside on the South Terrace at The Don CeSar, surrounded by their family with the beautiful St. Pete Beach atmosphere all around them.
Florida weather always keeps us on our toes, and this was definitely one of those wedding days when we were watching the sky closely! We were SO happy that everything came together for their outdoor ceremony.
Afterward, we moved right into family photographs and absolutely nailed all of the important combinations before giving Jeff + Lynn a little time to relax and enjoy their celebration.
Because they had their four children and their spouses together for the wedding, these family photographs were especially important. A wedding is such a rare opportunity to have everyone you love dressed beautifully and gathered in one place, and we wanted to make the most of it!
Sunset Wedding Photos on St. Pete Beach 🌅
Later in the evening, I looked outside and knew we needed to move quickly.
A huge cloud was beginning to cover the horizon, so instead of waiting for our originally anticipated sunset timing, we asked Jeff + Lynn if they would sneak away with us a little early.
They said YES!
I am so glad they did.
We made our way outside and caught the remaining sunlight as it peeked through the clouds over the Gulf of Mexico. The timing worked out perfectly, giving Jeff + Lynn beautiful golden light before the sun disappeared behind the cloud bank.
It was one of those moments when flexibility makes all the difference.
Florida sunsets are gorgeous, but they do not follow a wedding timeline! 😂 As St. Pete Beach wedding photographers, part of our job is watching the weather and light throughout the day and helping our couples take advantage of those little windows of magic when they appear.
And this one was worth it. 🌅💕
Wedding Reception at The Don CeSar
Then it was time to CELEBRATE! 🥂
The reception was filled with heartfelt toasts, laughter and candid moments between Jeff + Lynn and their guests.
We especially loved photographing everyone’s reactions during the speeches. While the person holding the microphone is important, some of our favorite storytelling photographs happen when we turn around and capture the people listening, laughing, tearing up and reacting to what is being said.
Those little expressions help tell the complete story of a wedding day.
The Don CeSar’s New Ballroom
I also had the opportunity to see The Don CeSar’s gorgeous new ballroom, and WOW! 🤩
The expanded event space opens up exciting possibilities for larger weddings and celebrations at this iconic St. Pete Beach resort. I can already imagine this space transformed for beautiful large-scale receptions, elaborate floral installations and multicultural celebrations, including Indian weddings. 🪷💃🏻✨

She was wonderful to work alongside throughout the wedding day. There were several moving pieces and weather decisions to navigate, and she communicated with us throughout the process while taking such thoughtful care of everyone involved.
We even bonded over the UK and my own visits there. 🇬🇧❤️
And can we talk about vendor meals for a second?! Our team was treated to hot meals with chicken, vegetables and rice AND custom desserts, including Key Lime Tacos and Passionfruit Cheesecake. Yes, you read that correctly.

From the pink details and emotional family photographs to their South Terrace ceremony, reception celebration and that beautiful last little glimpse of Gulf Coast sunshine, this day gave us so much to photograph.
But my favorite part will always be the joy between Jeff + Lynn and their family.
