Sarasota County Historic Courthouse | Sarasota, FL
There’s something special about a wedding that feels personal, simple, and centered around the people who matter most. For Amanda and Ryan, their October 1st wedding brought their story to one of Sarasota’s most historic settings as they officially became husband and wife.
The Sarasota County Historic Courthouse provided a beautiful backdrop for the day. Originally built in 1926, the courthouse is known for its Spanish and Mediterranean Revival architecture, historic details, and classic Sarasota character. It’s the kind of setting that doesn’t need much added to it. The architecture and history of the building give even an intimate wedding a timeless feel.
Amanda and Ryan have built quite a life together since first meeting through mutual friends. What started with friends encouraging them to give each other a chance eventually turned into a relationship, a move from Wisconsin to Florida, and now a marriage.
We first got to know Amanda and Ryan during their engagement session at St. Armands Circle and Lido Beach. That evening gave us a chance to spend some time together before the wedding, and it was great to see their personalities come through again when we met up for the big day. They have an easygoing way about them that made the day feel relaxed and genuine.
Their wedding day was the next step in a story that has already taken them from Wisconsin to Sarasota and brought them to this point together. After everything that led up to October 1st, they finally got to celebrate becoming husband and wife surrounded by the people closest to them.
We’re so happy we got to be part of Amanda and Ryan’s journey and document this chapter for them. Congratulations, Amanda and Ryan! We hope this next chapter brings you both many more years of adventures, laughter, and memories together.
