From the moment I arrived at Vista at the Top, I could feel that Elaine and Tre’s day was going to be something truly special. As their Lead Photographer with Limelight Photography, I had the honor of capturing a celebration that was less about tradition and more about intention—raw, real love, surrounded by their closest family.
Elaine and Tre’s story began with a simple, serendipitous moment—locking eyes at a holiday party back in 2019. What started as a conversation turned into something undeniable by New Year’s Eve, and from there, their journey unfolded beautifully. Hearing them talk about their connection—“raw and uncut”—you just feel how deeply rooted their love is. It’s the kind of connection that makes Candid Photography come alive so effortlessly.
Although they chose to elope in the Virgin Islands (which is so them—adventurous and deeply personal), their intimate cocktail-style reception in St. Pete brought everyone into their story. Their tropical-inspired evening perfectly mirrored their island vows—from the palm details to the soft glow of candlelight and the heartfelt moments shared over dinner.
Elaine was the epitome of a radiant Florida Bride, glowing with joy, while Tre couldn’t take his eyes off her all evening. Their love isn’t just seen—it’s felt. And being able to document that as a FL Wedding Photographer is why I love what I do.
