On April 21, 2026, the Tampa Club was full of energy as Tampa Bay NACE brought together local event pros for an afternoon of connection, inspiration, and a whole lot of momentum. As proud sponsors, Limelight Photography loved being right in the middle of it all—capturing the moments and soaking in the vibe.

The highlight of the day was hearing from Jill Vidal-Raines, NACE’s National President. Her session, “The Power of NACE: Turning Membership into Momentum,” really hit home. She shared real stories and practical ways to get more out of your NACE membership—whether that’s building relationships, stepping into leadership, or opening new doors in the industry. It was the kind of talk that leaves you feeling motivated (and ready to take action).

From the start, the room was buzzing. Guests mingled during networking, caught up over dinner, and jumped into games, giveaways, and raffles throughout the afternoon. It struck that perfect balance between productive and fun—exactly what makes NACE events so special.

Huge shoutout to the Tampa Bay NACE leadership team, led by President Jeff Boone, along with an incredible board and support crew. Their attention to detail and dedication to the member experience really showed in every part of the event.

From our side of the lens, it’s always the in-between moments that stand out most—the laughs, the conversations, the genuine connections happening all around the room. That’s the good stuff, and we love getting to capture it.

The moment I stepped into Brittany and Houston’s wedding day at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, there was an undeniable sense of excitement and warmth in the air. As a FL Wedding Photographer, I could instantly tell this celebration was going to be filled with meaningful moments, all set against the beautiful backdrop of Clearwater, FL.
Brittany, a stunning Florida Bride with effortless elegance, and Houston, whose calm and loving presence grounded every moment, shared a story that began in the most modern way on Hinge but unfolded into something timeless. Hearing about their very first date at a rooftop bar and realizing it became their last first date made capturing their wedding even more meaningful through my lens of Candid Photography.

Their day was the perfect blend of classic and modern coastal beauty. Soft blues, beachy textures, and thoughtful details reflected their love for the water and their adventurous spirits. Every detail felt intentional, from personalized letters for guests to the sweetest cocktail touches. It was a Tampa Bride vision brought to life with heart and style.

What stood out most to me were the quiet, in-between moments. The way Houston looked at Brittany during their vows, the laughter they shared during their first dance, and the overwhelming joy of being surrounded by everyone they love. Their words about each other came to life in every interaction. You could feel that sense of home they described, and it filled the entire room.

As the night went on, the energy shifted into pure celebration. A full dance floor, endless smiles, and that feeling they hoped for came true: special, full, happy, and one incredible party. It was the kind of FL Wedding that reminds me why I love what I do.

Brittany and Houston didn’t just plan a wedding. They created an experience that reflected who they are at their core. And being there to document it all, to truly Step Into The Limelight with them, was an honor I won’t forget.

After winning a complimentary session through a giveaway with Wedding Society, the excitement was already there—but what unfolded at Sand Key Park went far beyond expectations.

From the moment we arrived, everything aligned perfectly. The soft coastal breeze, the warm glow of golden hour, and the natural beauty of the rocky shoreline created a setting that felt almost cinematic. Sand Key Park truly showed off, offering a dreamy backdrop that elevated every moment we captured.

Stephanie and Min brought an effortless energy to the session. Their connection was genuine, playful, and full of warmth. Whether they were laughing together by the water’s edge or strolling hand in hand across the sand, their love felt natural and unfiltered. It’s always incredible to witness a couple so fully in their element—and these two truly made the beach their own.

As the sun dipped lower, the golden light wrapped around them, highlighting every sweet glance and quiet moment. The rocks added texture and depth to the scenery, making each frame feel dynamic and breathtaking. A Perfect Siesta Key Wedding: Sheena & Paul’s Sunset Celebration

There’s something truly special about couples who travel miles for the wedding of their dreams—and Sheena and Paul did exactly that. Coming all the way from up north, they chose the white sands and glowing sunsets of Siesta Key, Florida for one very intentional reason: to celebrate their love in a place that felt like pure magic, and to trust Limelight Photography to capture every moment!

From the very beginning, Sheena and Paul were an absolute joy to work with. Warm, kind, and clearly so in love, they brought an energy that made the entire day feel effortless. Every glance, every laugh, every quiet moment between them felt genuine—and that authenticity is what makes a wedding truly unforgettable.

And then there was the weather… simply perfect! Clear skies, a soft coastal breeze, and that golden Florida light that photographers dream about. Everything aligned beautifully, creating the ideal backdrop for their celebration.

As the day transitioned into evening, Siesta Key delivered one of its signature sunsets—and it did not disappoint. The sky transformed into a canvas of soft pinks, warm oranges, and glowing gold, wrapping Sheena and Paul in the most romantic light imaginable. Their sunset portraits quickly became a highlight of the day—timeless, emotional, and absolutely breathtaking. Jordan + Justin Step Into The Limelight | Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach | Tampa, FL

A Love That Found Its Perfect Time

As the ceremony began, the bridal party made their way down the aisle and the room settled into that quiet anticipation that only happens right before something meaningful begins. Then, instead of music alone, a voice filled the space.

The bride had pre-recorded a message that played just before she walked down the aisle. Her words were personal, emotional, and deeply intentional. Guests listened as her voice carried through the ceremony space, and there truly was not a single dry eye in the room. It set the tone for the entire day. This wedding was about connection, history, and a love that arrived exactly when it was meant to.

Justin and his bride first met back in 2017 through mutual friends at O’Briens. What started as friendship lasted for several years before life brought them back together again in January 2021. That reconnection changed everything. From that moment on, they were inseparable. Timing, as they both say, was everything.

The proposal reflected their relationship perfectly. Justin planned a weekend getaway to Sarasota, one of their favorite places to visit together. She had always joked that a bottle of Caymus would be the giveaway if a proposal was coming. As she stepped out of the bathroom getting ready for dinner, she saw a dozen roses and that unmistakable bottle waiting by the door. She instantly knew. When she turned around, Justin was already on one knee asking her to spend forever with him.

At the heart of their relationship is simplicity. They describe themselves as best friends who genuinely love being together, no matter what they are doing. Whether traveling, relaxing at a hotel, or spending time at the beach, their joy comes from sharing life side by side.

Their wedding reflected that same feeling. Inspired by the beach, the day was timeless, airy, bright, and effortlessly elegant. Every detail felt intentional without feeling overdone. The focus remained on experience rather than perfection.

Personal touches were woven throughout the celebration. Guests were welcomed with a “Walk Down Memory Lane” display, a custom welcome mirror, and playful bar favors featuring Velos and ZYN cans with signs reading “Vows and Velos”. The bride also designed signature drinks and created her own seating chart, adding layers of personality that made the celebration unmistakably theirs.

More than any single detail, the couple looked forward to simply being surrounded by their favorite people and finally beginning this new chapter together. One of the most anticipated moments of the day was Justin seeing his bride in her wedding dress for the first time, a moment filled with emotion and quiet excitement.

The ceremony vows became one of the most memorable parts of the day, grounding the celebration in the story they share. From there, the reception shifted into pure celebration, filled with dancing, laughter, and the kind of energy that comes when guests feel fully present and connected.

When asked how they wanted their wedding to feel, the couple answered in four words: happy, in love, engaged, relaxed.

And that is exactly what the day became. A celebration not just of a wedding, but of perfect timing, lasting friendship, and two people who found each other again when life finally aligned.
