Our wonderful couple met six years ago in Chicago while visiting the city. It was love at first sight, and their journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. The groom flew down to Florida to surprise his bride with a heartfelt proposal, sealing their love story in the most romantic way.

The bride shared that she loves how her groom brings out the best in her, always believing in her and being her biggest advocate. He makes her laugh, takes care of her, and supports her in every way. The groom adores her cuteness and playful spirit. Together, they enjoy hiking, cooking, thrifting, watching cooking competitions, and traveling.

Their wedding was a perfect blend of romance and fun, inspired by the photography styles of Sophia Richie and Alex Cooper. The sunset tropical theme with shades of pink and orange flowers and palm leaves created a breathtaking backdrop. These two are the definition of soulmates: sweet, genuine, and full of light and love for one another. Their love for each other radiates in every glance, and their kindness made everyone around them feel like family. We LOVE Adriana and Zachary — they are incredible people with hearts of gold.

Their love story began in high school, and over the years, they built a life together filled with shared walks with their two adorable pups, and countless adventures exploring new restaurants and coffee shops. When Zach proposed on Clearwater Beach in July 2023 — right near Opal Sands Resort — it was the perfect beginning to their Florida wedding journey.

Florida has always held a special place in their hearts. They vacationed here nearly every year, so when it came time to choose a wedding location, the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa felt like home. Their vision of a classy, delicate, light and airy celebration came to life beautifully — from the soft pastel color palette to the gentle breeze from the Gulf of Mexico as they said “I do.”

As a Clearwater Photographer, I was absolutely inspired by their attention to detail and the intimacy of their day. Their wedding was more than just an event — it was a heartfelt celebration surrounded by those who matter most. A smaller destination wedding made everything feel so personal and genuine. The joy and warmth were tangible, and the love between Adriana and Zachary was truly the center of it all.

Their ceremony was breathtaking. The moment Adriana walked down the aisle, and Zach saw her for the first time — it was magical. One of my favorite parts of wedding photography in Clearwater is capturing those wedding candids that tell an honest, emotional story. Their ceremony was filled with happy tears, laughter, and quiet moments of connection — the very essence of photojournalistic photography.

From getting ready in sunlit suites to their romantic portraits on the soft white sands of Clearwater Beach, every part of their day was a dream. As the sun set, painting the sky in shades of peach and lavender, their reception came alive with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts.

Mariel and Christopher first met in 2016 at Lake Sumter Community College in a public speaking class. Their connection grew over shared adventures, home improvement projects, and their love for pickleball and fitness. Fast forward to April 12, 2024—Christopher proposed at the Secret Garden on Upham Beach at sunset, making for a picture-perfect moment in St. Petersburg, FL.

Tonya & Chris – A Yacht Wedding Full of Love, Laughter, and a Little Bit of Wobble

Some love stories feel like poetry. Tonya and Chris? They’re a whole playlist, romantic, joyful, and impossible not to dance along with.

These two had known each other for years through their children, but it wasn’t until May 2022 that the universe decided to give their story the spotlight. Thanks to some well-placed friends, they reconnected and quickly became inseparable. From concerts to traveling adventures and quiet days just enjoying each other's company, their journey since that first date on May 21, 2022, has been full of unforgettable moments.

They made it official (and tear-jerkingly sweet!) on November 25, 2023, surrounded by family and friends when Chris popped the question. And let me tell you, their destination wedding aboard a yacht on April 26, 2025, was nothing short of magical.

Photographing their wedding was an absolute dream although I’d be lying if I said I didn’t almost fall over at least five times thanks to the gentle, rocking of the boat! But hey, I survived with my gear intact and a heart full of joy.

The energy that day was contagious. Everyone had a glow, a sparkle in their eyes that said, “These two are something special.” Even the sunset seemed to agree it showed off with such beauty and harmony that it felt like the sky was serenading us with the most beautiful love song ever written.

And then there’s her gaze oh, the way Tonya’s eyes light up when she looks at Chris. That kind of sparkle can’t be faked. It’s the kind of look that says, “There you are. My person.” Watching her look at him was like watching love itself unfold pure, honest, and beautiful beyond words.

And then came the moment: Tonya and Chris’s private last dance. Just the two of them swaying gently as the boat rocked and the stars peeked out above it was pure magic. As a photographer, I get to witness a lot of beautiful things, but this moment? This one will stay with me.

I’m beyond grateful to have been a part of their big day. Tonya and Chris, thank you for trusting me to capture your love, your laughter, and yes, even my almost-slips onboard!

Nicole + Luis Step Into The Limelight | Fort De Soto Park | Pinellas, FL

 Nicole & Louis at Fort De Soto | A Coastal Engagement Session

At Limelight, we always enjoy getting to know our couples before the big day, and Nicole and Louis made it easy. We met up for the first time this week at Fort De Soto Park in St. Petersburg, an incredible backdrop that blends Florida’s natural beauty with deep historical roots. Built during the Spanish-American War, Fort De Soto once stood guard during the Civil War and World War II. These days, it’s a quieter place, perfect for exploring, walking along the shoreline, and in our case, capturing some genuine moments between two people who clearly feel at home with each other.

Nicole and Louis met back in college through mutual friends, and their connection is easy to spot. They’re laid-back, love movies, and are always up for checking out a new brewery together. Louis proposed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, and now they're gearing up for their October wedding in St. Augustine.

They’ll be tying the knot on October 19, 2025, at The Treasury on the Plaza, one of St. Augustine’s most iconic venues. Originally built as a bank in 1927, the space has been thoughtfully reimagined into an elegant venue that still holds onto its classic charm. From soaring ceilings and art-deco touches to the unique bank vault-turned-cocktail-bar, it’s the perfect mix of history, glamour, and modern style—an ideal setting for what’s sure to be an unforgettable celebration.

We’re looking forward to being part of their wedding day this fall and capturing the next chapter of their story!
