Nicole & Cooper’s Engagement Session at Howard Park Beach – A Sunset Full of Fun (and One Amazing Dog)
We started the session in one of the quiet, hidden parts of Howard Park Beach, the perfect spot for Nicole and Cooper to warm up, relax, and let their sweet dog run free. I always love beginning in a calm area so couples can shake off any shyness, and honestly, it worked like magic. Their pup was having the time of his life, sprinting across the sand and even running straight toward my camera, which I absolutely loved! Usually, dogs ignore the photographer completely, but this one? A total superstar.
We also had the best helper that day, Cooper’s sister, who’s not only their biggest supporter but will also be the officiant at their wedding! She was amazing, taking care of the dog when it was time for the more adventurous shots and keeping the day flowing perfectly.
Once the pup was safely in the car, things really started to get fun. I had them run along the beach, splashing through the water, laughing the whole time and just when I thought it couldn’t get better, I had an idea. I told them, “Let’s climb those rocks!” And of course, Nicole and Cooper were totally up for it. Even though the beach guard was already telling us it was time to leave because the sun was setting, they didn’t hesitate. Up they went and the result? Absolutely epic. The sky was glowing and the moment was pure magic.
It was such a joy to photograph this day for you two. Every laugh, every little adventure, every sandy step made it unforgettable. I can’t wait to see you again soon on your big day!
