Jess & Bryan's Elegant Sarasota Wedding at The Westin

On June 6, 2026, Jess and Bryan celebrated the beginning of their next chapter together with a beautiful wedding at The Westin in Sarasota, Florida. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the couple exchanged vows during a stunning outdoor ceremony overlooking the picturesque Sarasota waterfront.

The day began with excitement and anticipation as Jess and Bryan prepared for one of the most memorable moments of their lives. The elegant atmosphere of The Westin provided the perfect backdrop for every part of their celebration, from the heartfelt getting-ready moments to the joyful festivities that followed.

Their outdoor terrace ceremony was nothing short of breathtaking. With the warm Florida sunshine, gentle waterfront views, and the love of their family and friends surrounding them, Jess and Bryan shared an emotional exchange of vows that left few dry eyes in attendance. Every detail came together beautifully, creating a romantic setting that perfectly reflected their love story.

Following the ceremony, guests gathered to celebrate the newlyweds as the reception transformed into an unforgettable evening filled with laughter, dancing, and incredible energy. One of the highlights of the night was a talented live saxophone player who kept the dance floor alive and created an electric atmosphere throughout the celebration. From heartfelt toasts to packed dance floor moments, every part of the evening reflected the joy and excitement shared by everyone in attendance.

As the night continued, Jess and Bryan were surrounded by endless love, support, and celebration from their family and friends. Their wedding day was a perfect blend of elegance, fun, and meaningful moments—one that will undoubtedly be remembered for years to come.

get to know Lindsey & Alvin…

How/when did you meet each other: We met in December 2019 through eHarmony. Our first date was at Riverhouse Waterfront on the marina. What we thought would be an awkward first date turned into 6 hours of conversation and genuine laughter. When asked about our first date, Alvin remembers hearing God say, "Peace be still." We made our relationship official on our our third date after Alvin planned a full day of surprises in St. Pete. 

How did he propose: Alvin planned a weekend for us. It started out with a spa day for Lindsey to relax and de-stress. He then chartered a sail boat and captain on Tampa Bay. The waters were very choppy, so he waited to propose after the sailing trip. We then went to lunch and all of our parents were at the restaurant waiting to celebrate with us. 

What do you love about each other: Alvin loves Lindsey's heart and caring nature, her thoughtfulness, her beauty, intelligence and sense of humor, how she balances him out and keeps him focused and grounded, and he loves that God chose her for him.
Lindsey loves Alvin's thoughtfulness and dedication to God, how he is always intentional in showing that he cares for her. She loves how he always makes her laugh and supports her in difficult times. Even when things seem to be going all wrong, he is still there to be in it with her, even if he can't fix it. She loves how he loves his family and friends and always goes above and beyond to help them. She loves his wisdom and how he keeps her balanced and focused on God and the things that matter most. 

Interests/hobbies you enjoy doing together:: We enjoy planning surprises for each other even when there is no special occasion. We also enjoy buying each other random gifts just because. We enjoy spending quality time together, whether it be watching HGTV at home, taking long drives, and trying new restaurants. 

Describe the overall story for your wedding: Our wedding is about God's plan. We both waited a long time for God to bring us into each other's lives and we are looking forward to sharing our story and celebrating His plan with our loved ones. We want the peace that God has placed in our relationship from the beginning to fill our ceremony and for His joy to fill our reception. 

Lindsey & Alvin’s wedding day was filled with so much LOVE and beautiful moments. We loved hoe Lindsey made sure to include each person in a special way, every person she encountered means the world to her and Lindsey made sure to show her appreciation with very thoughtful and sweet gifts (I think Lindsey’s love language is “gift giving”, just saying lol). 

When Lindsey saw Alvin… it all made sense, we LOVED seeing how much Alvin appreciates Lindsey’s love. You guys, just the way Alvin looks at Lindsey… pure love. The two are meant for each other.
