Kirsten + Jackson Step Into The Limelight | Isla del Sol Yacht & Country Club | St. Petersburg, FL

ohh people… you have got to het to know this ahhhmazing couple!

Kirsten & Jackson ♥️

How/when did you meet each other:: We met in 2015 in Pittsburgh during Kirsten's senior year at the University of Pittsburgh through pure fate. Jackson's groomsman, Alex Baker, was dating (now engaged) to Kirsten's Maid of Honor, Cori Plesko (then college roommate), and Jackson was recently stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base about 3 hours away in Ohio. Baker was in Pittsburgh visiting Cori, and invited Jackson out to visit... After that weekend, Jackson just kept visiting Pittsburgh to see Kirsten…

How did he propose:: Jackson was at Air Force Reserves training in Biloxi, MS in the summer of 2020. Kirsten LOVES the beach and visited for Labor Day weekend along the gulf coast. We had an private sunset dinner cruise Thursday, woke up Friday for a long sunrise run together, enjoyed the beach during the day, took out jet skis, surf and turf dinner, and finished with a sunset walk on a secluded beach with an amazing view where we came across a blanket, champagne and Jackson dropped a knee.

What do you love about each other:: Kirsten is driven, smart, and constantly challenges me to become a better person. Jackson is selfless, loyal, loving and my best friend who brightens my days constantly.

Interests/hobbies you enjoy doing together:: Running, hiking, kayaking, brewery hopping, traveling to new places, watching movies

When I tell you… I instantly feel in love with these people! Yes… whole truth! The are sincere, kind, sweet, caring, loving… all that oouuie goouiie stuff! Yes! These two and their families. Their wedding day didn’t go as planned due to an unexpected Florida storm but that didn’t even faze them… they laughed they danced and true enjoyed every single moment of their day with the people they love.

We are honored to have been a part of Kirsten & Jackson’s love journey and we wish both ALL good things in ALL they do. Cheers to an amazing, I mean ahhhmazing couple!

Missy + Cameron Step Into The Limelight | TradeWinds Resort | St. Petersburg, FL

Missy & Cameron’s LOVE story:

How/when did you meet each other:: Cameron and Missy do not agree on the timeline of how they met, but they can agree that they are so happy they did! Cameron claims dancing in a large group of people at a wedding counts, but Missy does not. Cameron was covered in poison ivy and refused to introduce himself. After a few weeks, Missy was swiping away on a dating app and came across Cameron. Turns out he "accidentally" super liked her, and she decided to give him a chance. After a year and a half of a long distance relationship, Cameron and Missy decided to move into their new home in Mt. Airy, Maryland to start their lives together.

How did he propose:: We always visit Cameron's parents in Florida during our winter break and his aunt and uncle had just bought a condo in Clearwater, FL. Cameron and his sister came up with the brilliant idea to drive down to Clearwater to see the new condo and also explore the beach. The whole drive down threatened rain and Cam and Nicole kept going back and forth on what we should do first: eat lunch or visit the beach. I didn't care either way. Meanwhile, Cameron is sweating through his shirt and I was still clueless. We arrive in Clearwater and the day is beautiful so we decided to walk along the beach first. As we approach the beach, Cam and Nicole are complaining about how crowded the beach is. For me, it was like 10 people max, that is not crowded in my opinion, I was thinking they are crazy. So, we start walking along the beach and Cameron stops walking at one point. I stop too, thinking we might take a picture here and I'm just staring off at the gulf. I turn around and Cameron has a ring box and is getting down on one knee. Once I see him I shout, "No, what are you doing?!" This of course confuses him as I shouted "no". He still manages to ask me to marry him and at this point I'm crying and can't speak. I walk to him and kiss him, still haven't said "yes", until he finally asks, "so, is that a yes?" and I manage to nod my head and give him a shaky, "yes!"

What do you love about each other:: Cameron is my person. After our first date, I knew he was someone I could see myself with. We spent 5+ hours just sitting at the bar talking and it was so easy. I had never felt more comfortable on a first date in my life. He allows me to be myself and he brings out the best in me. He can read me so easily and knows exactly what I need. He makes me feel safe, he makes me laugh, he makes me feel loved, he makes me happy.

What I love the most about Missy is how we get along so well. Our personalities are a perfect match. We laugh and joke together as if we have known each other our whole lives. She's caring. She's loving. She make me want to be a better person. I am lucky to be able to spend the rest of my life with Missy, someone I love and care about so much.

Interests/hobbies you enjoy doing together:: We love to explore new places, go for hikes with our dog (Koda), lay on the couch and watch Netflix, play Mario Party, hang out with friends. Cameron is trying to get me into golf, but after 3 years, I'm still not very good (to be fair I only really play when we visit Florida).

Oh how we LOVED meeting these two so much! They are both super laid back and so much fun! The made sure tp enjoy every single aspect of their day… this included enjoying some quality time with each guest and family member who attended. We loved seeing them take their time and go teach table to make sure to talk to everyone. We loved witnessing these two say their vows and just enjoy being together… congratulations to an amazing couple, we wish you both ALL the best!

Lynn + Frank Step Into The Limelight | TRADEWINDS ISLAND RESORT | ST. PETE BEACH, FL

Lynn and Frank met four years ago when Frank went to Lynn’s house for snow removal. After that, a mutual friend set them up a few months later and they haven’t looked back since!

What they love the most about each other is that they both make each other laugh and they both love the outdoors. Frank decided to get down on one knee and propose to Lynn one evening after they went out to eat.

Their wedding was a laid back and fun affair at the TradeWinds Island Resort with their family and closest friends present. The beach vibe set the tone for a relaxed, barefoot, fun celebration!

Susan + Patrick Step Into The Limelight | Sandpearl Resort | Clearwater, FL

Susan and Patrick met on a blind date in December 2016. Patrick then proposed at a Jack and Jill baby shower for their son in front of all of our family and friends. It was a HUGE surprise and one that Susan remembers. Together, they enjoy to travel, motorcycle on Patrick’s Harley, they spend quality time with their kids and doggie who is so special to them. Being in Florida, at the beach is their favorite, especially since they have family here so of course, they decided to have their wedding here in Florida. They fell in love with the Sandpearl Resort and knew it was the place they wanted to say their I-Do’s!

The day of their wedding was finally here and even though the skies were gray and rain was present, this didn’t stop this couple from enjoying their special day. Susan and Patrick said their I’Do-s in one of the halls in the Sandpearl which seated their loved ones from different part of the world. Both were so excited and happy to see everyone in attendance that were able to join their celebration of love. At one point of the day, there was a break from the rain which we took advantage of and went outside to capture beautiful images of the couple on the beach. The night progressed and it was time to party! The two enjoyed their guest’s company and danced the night away. Congrats to Susan, Patrick and their adorable family!

Trish + Nick Step Into The Limelight | TradeWinds Island Resort | St. Pete Beach, FL

Trish & Nick met at a Carolina Panthers vs. Seattle Seahawks football game on January 17, 2016 for the NFL Divisional Round game. After a Panthers win Nick and Trish met up at a bar and it has been a “football loving” relationship ever since!

Nick proposed to Trish on the evening of June 9, 2018 at their house. Trish was out with her girlfriend getting pampered at Ré Salon in Charlotte. Trish was expecting a laid back evening and kept Nick anxiously waiting at the house for 4 hours while she relaxed and had wine. Upon Trish coming home she proceeded to play with the neighbor’s kids, check the mail, and do the dishes all while Nick was hiding upstairs with ring, flowers, and wine in hand.

Trish & Nick share kindness, passion, they are supportive of each other, they encourage each other, they care of each and in the midst of it all… they find humor. They enjoy the beach and have always dreamt of having a destination beach wedding. They like to go to different breweries, wineries, they love traveling and cooking oh and visiting Triple D Restaurants (Diner, Drive-Ins, & Dives) How fun is that?

For their wedding, they wanted a simple yet modern beach wedding with a contemporary & tropical twist. A wedding where guests will feel comfortable in beach dress attire, while providing an elegant feel. Since this is a complete destination wedding they wanted all traveling guests to feel warm and welcomed and TradeWinds Island Resort did not disappoint. The outfits overall, bring out all the beach feels and they were able to include dark blue/navy for Nick's favorite college team - Penn State Nittany Lions.

From the handmade signs all throughout, to the Palma Phoenix Green filler plants and the dramatic King Protea Flowers to the mouth watering Doughnut Bar (in which the stands were handcrafted by Trish and her dad) to the ever chic and trendsetting geometric ceremony arch. Did you know that the triangle is the strongest shape found in nature? The sweetest moment during the ceremony was when Taylor joined Trish & Nick and was given a necklace from the couple, representing their infinite union. Family & thoughtfulness was all around. Trish’s vision came to life with beauty and everlasting memories.

Oh…to our bright blue eyed Trish, laid-back Nick & sweet Taylor we wish you ALL the good life can bring.

Enjoy it with all your heart.
