Jessica + Chris Step Into The Limelight | Tampa Bay Watch | Tierra Verde, FL

Jessica & Chris’ LOVE story… told by couple:

Where It Started

11 / 17 / 2018

Our first date was at the Saturday Morning Market in St. Pete, strolling booths by local artists. We initially bonded over our love of the Tampa Bay Lightning (Go Bolts!) but quickly realized we shared the same values, goals, and spirit. We were enjoying each other's company so much, the date was extended several hours as we continued to walk through downtown St. Pete.

The Proposal

10 / 27 / 2021

Chris knew he wanted to ask on their new boat on a night with a perfect sunset. His plans were delayed over a month waiting on the weather to cooperate, but it was worth the wait! He distracted Jess by telling her to look for a dolphin (she can't resist them), and when she finally turned back around, he was on one knee just before the sunset.

And YES! We ALL saw dolphins on their wedding day at Tampa Bay Watch during their sunset session… it was magical 🐬
We absolutely LOVED spending Earth Day with Jessica & Chris and just loved how they incorporated their love for nature and nature preservation on their wedding day, starting with the actual Venue, Tampa Bay Watch which inspires our youth to take care of nature and gives us all more knowledge about our planet to their party favors… which were customized-engraved glasses that their guests can keep forever! So clever!
These two make our hearts so happy just by being them… sweet in every way.
We wish Jessica & Chris many many more magical moments together and whenever I see a 🐬 I’ll think of Jessica 💛 Cheers to a beautiful couple.

Denise + Jeffrey Step Into The Limelight | Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach | Clearwater, FL

It all started while out with a friend in Grand Rapids, MI October 2012 at one of their favorite spots in Michigan, HopCat. Denis met Jeff for the first time. They converted and after drawing on napkins to get to know one another, Jeff and Denise proceeded to talk and laugh all night. They got closer as time went by and started dated until one day, disguised as a birthday trip to Denise’s favorite place, Walt Disney World, Jeff custom planned an entire day. The day began with the first surprise, staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House. They had the luxury of spending the day by the pool and watching Giraffes and Zebras stroll theSavanna from the balcony. For dinner, Jeff narrowed options to 3 locations; as fate would have it, Denise picked the one that followed his plan at Contemporary Resort. Initially begging to see the gingerbread house on display, Jeff convinced her to take a walk out by Seven Seas Lagoon. There, they were met by a captain taking them on a private boat ride to watch the “Happily Ever After’ Fireworks from Magic Kingdom. Surprise, after surprise, Jeff managed to hide a ring box in his sock; removing the ring when Denise was not looking, and got down on one knee and asked Denise to marry him. The smallest details, down to his timing, all done on his own. It made this day super special for Denise and one that she will always cherish!

Clearwater Beach was the first place they visited after moving to Florida. It was the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. Being a place they love frequenting, they wanted to share their love for their new home and this next chapter with friends and family. The Hyatt was perfect for this beautiful moment and they were so happy to celebrate their love.

“Sharing our life, in a place we love, with the people we love. We couldn’t ask for much more.” - Denise & Jeff

Stephanie + Joshua Step Into The Limelight | Holy Ascension Greek Orthodox Church + Wyndham Grand Beach Resort | Clearwater, FL

Josh and Stephanie met working at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL during the month of February 2016. Josh worked nights as a nurse and Stephanie worked days as a nurse. Josh proposed to Stephanie at St. Augustine near the Castillo de San Marcos. After the proposal, it began to pour rain. Josh, Stephanie, and close friends ran to the No Name Bar to seek cover from the rain and enjoyed a couple of cold Dos Equis lagers. We were able to capture some amazing images for their engagement session, including pictures in the exact spot Josh planned to propose and the spot where it actually happened! You may see some of those here

Josh loves that Stephanie is able to deal with his self-proclaimed “weirdness.” Josh shares, “I know I am an odd guy. I also love how patient she can be with me. I am amazed at how focused she is when she puts her mind to something. It is extremely difficult to change her mind. She is an extremely hard worker. She is putting herself through a lot of stress to give us both a better life in our future together.  Working full time and going to grad school at the same time is extremely difficult but she is doing it. Stephanie tells me that she loves my oddness. My quirky little dances. She likes how I motivate her to go for her dreams and goals. That I am always there to support her no matter what the circumstance is. I love how I can come home and always know that she will welcome me with a smile and a kiss. She is everything that I have ever wanted.” Awe…talk about a true romantic this just melts my heart!

Together they enjoy outdoor activities such as nature parks, adventure parks, fishing, boating, paddle boarding, swimming, concerts, football games, tailgating, and traveling.

Josh, Stephanie, and the wedding party got ready at the Wyndham Resort in Clearwater, FL. All, except Stephanie, took the Jolley Trolley to Holy Ascension Greek Orthodox Church where the wedding ceremony will take place. Stephanie traveled with her parents and grandmother to the ceremony. Stephanie joined the gang and rode back to the Wyndham with Josh and the rest of the bridal party in the Jolley Trolley! Then we headed to the beach for sunset pictures!

Wedding location was selected in Clearwater, FL because it is close to Stephanie’s grandmother who lives in St. Petersburg, FL. Clearwater is also special to Josh because it is where he used to live. Wedding theme of dusty blue and blush pink was suggested by bridesmaid Stephanie Fitzgerald. Bride tribe went to Orlando, FL on November 25th in search of the bridal attire. Bride’s dress was found at Calvet Couture. Josh and Stephanie went to Men’s Warehouse on December 21st for the groom and groomsmen attire. Style of the wedding was traditional with a Greek theme and some Greek traditions.

Brides Bouquet: White Garden Roses, Quicksand Roses, Ocean Song Roses, White Ranunculus, Lavender, Succulents, Silver dollar Eucalyptus, Ruscus, Dusty miller (very loose and flowy, heavy greenery)

Bridesmaids Bouquets: Quicksand/Ocean Song Roses, Succulents, Dark Purple Lisianthus, Lavender, Dusty Miller, Eucalyptus

Sweetheart Table: Bride’s bouquet on table, along with Wisteria Backdrop mixed with Roses, Greenery, Stock, Wax Flower to go across backdrop with fabric hanging underneath.

Stephanie and Josh’s favorite part of the wedding was the reception dancing, eating good food, spending time with guests, and drinking the night away. They made their own Greek wedding favors known as a boubouniera, which consists of five  candy-coated almonds (koufeta) in a bag. The five almonds represent five wishes for the bride and groom…health, wealth, happiness, fertility, and longevity. A true highlight were the parent dances - Josh with his mom and Stephanie with her dad. You could truly feel the bond and love.

It really was the BEST day ever!!!!

Rachel + Joe Step Into the Limelight | The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club | St. Petersburg, FL

“St. Pete elegance meets party of the year!”

Joe and Rachel were set up on a blind date! Joe's Aunt Joanna and Rachel’s mom's friend Teresa work together as nurses at All Children's Hospital. They thought that they would be a good match, and they were so right! Together they enjoy boating, scuba diving, bike riding and playing with their pups. Joe proposed during a boat ride at their favorite spot, Sombrero Reef, in the Florida Keys. It is the most beautiful place and will forever mean so much to them! Joe and Rachel both have a sarcastic sense of humor and love making each other laugh.

Rachel and Joe planned a wedding that showcased to everyone their love for St. Pete. They both grew up his St. Pete and were proud to to bring out the beauty of the area at their wedding! Rachel dreamed of getting married at The Vinoy since she was in high school! It was their perfect, picturesque backdrop for their Old St. Pete style, elegant wedding featuring Florida palms. They love palm leaves incorporated them in the most elegant way! They also had a custom map of St. Pete created for their invitations as well as their menu cards. And obviously they loved their custom open bar! Another unique touch, were the custom-made tumblers guests took home, made personally by Joe! All take home goodies had a running theme, "Stolen from Rachel and Joe's Wedding”.

Overall there was an amazing party atmosphere with a wonderful and interactive band. When Joe began breaking out his amazing dance moves the party really got started!

Their love for this city and each other was clearing SHINE-ing!!! They are true Floridians through and through!
