Dax + Ariadna Step Into The Limelight | Rooftop 220 at Armature Works | Tampa, FL

Some weddings are grand and filled with hundreds of guests, while others are beautifully simple, intimate, and deeply personal. Ariadna and Dax’s wedding on Monday, March 2, 2026, was the perfect reminder that sometimes the smallest celebrations hold the biggest emotions.

Set high above the city at Rooftop 220 in Downtown Tampa, this wedding brought together just a dozen of the couple’s closest friends and family. The moment Jalyssa and I arrived, it was clear this day was going to be something special. The weather could not have been more perfect—clear skies, a warm Florida breeze, and that golden Tampa sunshine lighting up the skyline.

Rooftop 220 provided the most incredible backdrop for the day. With sweeping views of the city stretching out in every direction, Ariadna and Dax knew exactly what they wanted: stunning portraits with the Tampa skyline behind them. And honestly, the setting delivered in every possible way.

With only a small group gathered around them, the ceremony felt incredibly personal. Every guest had a front-row seat to the moment Ariadna and Dax exchanged silver coins, a cultural tradition in Ariadna’s family. You could feel the love and support surrounding them, creating a warm and emotional atmosphere that made documenting every moment so meaningful.

As the sun started to dip and the city lights began to sparkle, it created the perfect ending to such a beautiful day. Those final portraits of Ariadna and Dax with the Tampa skyline glowing behind them are the kind of images that remind me why I love being a wedding photographer!

Ariadna and Dax’s wedding was proof that you don’t need a huge guest list to create an unforgettable day. With stunning views, perfect weather, and the people who matter most, their rooftop celebration was intimate, romantic, and absolutely beautiful.

Congratulations again to Ariadna and Dax!! Thank you for letting Limelight capture such a special day in the heart of Tampa!

Mollie + Jack Step Into The Limelight | Don CeSar | St. Pete Beach, FL

Mollie and Jack’s St. Petersburg, FL wedding at The Pink Palace was magical from the get-go, all the way to the end of their reception.

Jack and Mollie met during their first year at Brooklyn Law School in 2018. Two brilliant, kind souls who instantly connected. Years later, Jack brought their story full circle by proposing on the balcony of the Whitney Museum, the very spot of their first date. He even planned a surprise engagement party disguised as their annual Friendsgiving, complete with Mollie’s favorite foods. (As someone who documents love stories for a living, I truly adore when couples weave meaning into their milestones.)

Their wedding day in St. Pete was a joyful gathering of family and friends from both coasts; a true celebration of love. Mollie, a proud St. Petersburg, FL Bride and University of Tampa alumna, has always loved this area. With so many memories made in Pass-a-Grille and time spent by the beach, choosing The Don CeSar was an easy decision. The glamorous pink backdrop perfectly complemented their eclectic and whimsical vision.

One of my favorite moments to photograph? Mollie getting ready with her bridesmaids in pajamas, sipping champagne and enjoying caviar; such a chic and playful start to the day! Heidi, a close family friend who previously owned a landscaping business, created the florals. The simple bouquets were not only beautiful but later repurposed as reception table arrangements.

Their ceremony was deeply personal, officiated by their dear friend and former roommate, Andy. There’s something so powerful about being married by someone who truly knows your story. And the reception? Pure heart. Mollie danced with her dad to “Vienna” by Billy Joel, and Jack chose a special song for his dance with his mom. The love in the room was undeniable: fun, fabulous, and full of warmth.

What makes their wedding unique? The people surrounding them. Jack and Mollie love exploring cities, traveling the world, doing yoga, and discovering new music and food together (especially Jack’s cooking, which Mollie proudly raves about!). But at the core, they are simply best friends who love to laugh together. And that joy radiated all day long.

Capturing their day through authentic Candid Photography allowed me to preserve the laughter, the tears, and the in-between moments that made their celebration so special.

To Mollie and Jack: thank you for letting us Step Into The Limelight with you. 🤍

Jamileth + Garrett Step Into The Limelight | Ocean Key Resort & Spa | Key West, FL

Vibrant Key West Destination Wedding at Ocean Key Resort

Jamileth and Garrett’s love story began in 2017 at a lively bar in Orlando, Florida. Garrett noticed Jamileth across the room, bought her a drink, and they ended up talking for hours. That night sparked a connection that led to years of adventure together… and the rest was history.

A Surprise Proposal in New Orleans

Garrett’s proposal was as unforgettable as their love story. He planned a “fake BBQ judging competition” weekend in New Orleans and booked a hotel by the river. That morning, he suggested testing their camera at the Riverwalk. Suddenly, a second line band appeared, followed by their family members. When Jamileth turned around, Garrett was down on one knee. Through tears and surprise, she asked, “Is it happening now?” to which he smiled and said, “Yes, Jams, it’s happening now”.

A Dream Destination Wedding in Key West

After six years together and living in over ten cities, the couple fulfilled their dream of a destination wedding in Key West at the breathtaking Ocean Key Resort & Spa. They wanted an island vibe without leaving the country, and Key West provided the perfect tropical backdrop.

Guests wore colorful formal attire to complement the sparkling ocean views, and the couple’s modern tropical wedding style was brought to life by WCO Events and Love in Bloom. The vibrant florals and bright, airy décor perfectly reflected the fun, celebratory atmosphere they envisioned.

Ocean Key Resort weddings are known for their stunning waterfront views, and Jamileth and Garrett’s day was no exception. With catering by Hot Tin Roof and music by DJ Popo, their “Finally, the Party!” reception became an unforgettable night of food, laughter, and nonstop dancing under the Key West sky.

Highlights and Meaningful Moments

One of the most unique parts of their wedding was that, after six years of marriage, this was the first time their families and friends were all together. Their heartfelt vows during the ceremony were incredibly meaningful—they had never spoken vows to each other before this day.

The reception quickly became the highlight, with incredible music, delicious food, and the kind of celebration they had always dreamed about. Jamileth and Garrett’s Key West wedding truly reflected their love: vibrant, joyful, and full of life.

Hannah + Joey Step Into The Limelight | Bonita Ranch | Melbourne, FL

There are some wedding days that just flow beautifully from beginning to end, and Hannah and Joey’s celebration at Bonita Ranch was exactly that kind of day. From quiet, emotional getting-ready moments to a joy-filled bubble exit under the night sky, it was a day we at Limelight will never forget… especially because it was our very first time photographing at this stunning venue!!

Walking onto the property that morning, we immediately fell in love with Bonita Ranch. The gorgeous modern Spanish-style architecture created such a timeless and romantic backdrop for the entire day. As a team, we’re always inspired by new locations, and being the first time Limelight worked at Bonita Ranch made it even more exciting. It’s safe to say that we can’t wait to be back.

The day began with Hannah and her girls getting ready in one of the venue’s beautifully lit suites. There’s something so special about those quieter moments: the laughter, the music playing in the background, the final touches of hair and makeup. Hannah was glowing, not just because she looked absolutely stunning, but because she was genuinely so happy and at peace! Meanwhile, Joey and his groomsmen brought such an easygoing, lighthearted energy to the afternoon. From helping each other with boutonnieres to sharing jokes before the ceremony, it was clear that this day was about more than just a beautiful event - it was about two beautiful families coming together.

Although the weather wasn’t perfect, the day absolutely was. Even with a few unexpected changes, Hannah and Joey embraced every moment with smiles. Their laid-back, trusting spirit made such a difference - they fully trusted Limelight to capture their dream photos no matter what the conditions looked like. Hannah and Joey were an absolute joy to photograph. They were fun, lighthearted, and completely themselves in front of the camera. No forced moments, just real connection.

As the evening unfolded, the energy shifted from romantic and sentimental to full celebration mode. The reception was filled with heartfelt toasts, packed dance floors, and so much joy. Hannah and Joey’s personalities truly shined; they were on the dance floor, surrounded by their favorite people, soaking in every second.

And to close out the night? A magical bubble exit! Guests lined up, cheering and blowing bubbles as Hannah and Joey ran through hand in hand. The soft glow of the evening lights reflecting through the bubbles created the perfect cinematic ending to such a beautiful day.

Hannah and Joey, thank you for trusting Limelight to capture the photos of your dreams. Your wedding was unforgettable, and we’re so grateful we got to be part of it!

Katie + Tom Step Into The Limelight | Zota Beach Resort | Longboat Key, FL

On February 27th, Katie and Tom celebrated their love with a breathtaking beachfront wedding at Zota Beach Resort in beautiful Longboat Key. Set along Florida’s stunning Gulf Coast, their special day was the perfect blend of coastal elegance, romance, and laid-back charm—everything you could hope for in a Florida beach wedding.

With soft white sand beneath their feet and the sound of waves gently rolling in, Katie and Tom exchanged vows during an intimate beach ceremony. Although the forecast had been calling for rain all week, the couple embraced the possibility with grace and positivity. After all, there’s a long-standing belief that rain on your wedding day brings good luck—symbolizing renewal, unity, and a marriage that will last.

True to that sentiment, the weather held off at just the right moments. The clouds created a soft, dreamy sky that made for stunning wedding photography, giving their images a romantic coastal glow that only a Florida beach wedding can offer.

As a premier Longboat Key wedding venue, Zota Beach Resort provided the perfect backdrop for timeless wedding portraits. The rain paused long enough for family photos to take place on the sand, capturing joyful moments with loved ones framed by the Gulf waters.

Following the ceremony, Katie and Tom slipped away for their couples session along the shoreline. The moody skies added depth and drama to their beach portraits, while the soft ocean breeze created effortlessly beautiful movement in Katie’s gown. The result was a collection of elegant, light-filled images that perfectly reflect the romance of a destination wedding in Florida.
