From the moment we arrived at Lithia Acres, the atmosphere set the tone for the day ahead. Perfect weather, soft light, and a calm energy that carried through every moment.

Heather and Roger’s story began online, with a few weeks of talking before meeting in person, and clearly, it worked out pretty well. Roger later proposed as the sun rose while their cruise pulled into Nassau, a quiet, meaningful moment that mirrors the way they move through life together.

Their wedding reflected exactly who they are: relaxed, colorful, and centered on the people they love. Jewel tones, lots of florals, and a space that felt warm and inviting without feeling overdone. Heather’s father officiated the ceremony, which instantly made everything feel personal.

One of my favorite parts of the day was how beautifully their daughter, Abby, was woven into everything. From getting ready with Roger to sharing a dance later in the evening. It felt honest, tender, and full of heart.

The ceremony was simple and heartfelt. Vows, a first kiss, a long embrace, and then cheers. No theatrics. Just two people choosing each other.

As the night unfolded, it turned into exactly what Heather and Roger hoped for. A fun filled evening where people danced, laughed, played UNO at their tables, listened to meaningful speeches, and spent real time together.

Heather and Roger created a wedding that felt true to them: welcoming, joyful, and full of connection. And those are always my favorite days to photograph.

Love stories often start in the most unexpected ways, and for Dana and Justin it all began with a simple click on Facebook Dating. What started as online introductions quickly grew into something real and undeniable. Dana shared that from the very beginning, Justin’s kindness and authenticity made her feel at ease. Her anxiety melted away in his presence, and she just knew (without hesitation) that he was her forever person.

Their proposal story was equally unforgettable. Less of a fairytale and more of a hilarious “business negotiation,” it perfectly captured their playful personalities. Dana joked that if Justin had more time, he would’ve created a PowerPoint presentation to seal the deal. That lighthearted spirit and genuine connection carried beautifully into their wedding day.

Choosing the Florida Aquarium in Tampa as their venue felt like the perfect fit. Both Dana and Justin loved the idea of doing something different, and the aquatic backdrop set the stage for a wedding that was both unique and glamorous. From vibrant marine life to the possibility of penguins joining the festivities, their celebration felt like a true adventure.

The couple described their theme as “simple yet glam”: a balance that paired beautifully with the aquarium’s modern architecture and natural beauty. Guests were invited into an atmosphere that was relaxed, inclusive, and filled with joy.

For Dana and Justin, simply being inside the aquarium surrounded by their loved ones was a highlight. They especially looked forward to their first kiss and watching their guests dance the night away. Dana’s stepmom was even hoping to swim with the sharks, another testament to this couple’s adventurous spirit.

We had the pleasure of photographing the Elite Events & Rentals Open House at their Oldsmar, Florida warehouse, and it was such a sweet time to celebrate a beloved local vendor. It was clear that this was more than just a showcase of inventory, but an effort of passion and love for what they do!

The space was styled with elegant decor featuring rich red and gold accents that felt both bold and refined. These touches elevated the warehouse setting and perfectly demonstrated how intentional design can completely transform a space. It was a joy capturing the details, textures, and setups that future couples and event hosts can easily envision at their own celebrations.
