Chelsea + Pete Step Into The Limelight | The Vinoy® Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club | St. Petersburg, FL

Chelsea and Pete met 6 years to the day of their wedding day. Chelsea was going to visit her sister in Connecticut for new years (Cassidy), and Pete was going to visit his best friend (Chelsea’s sister’s now husband, Thomas). They hit it off right away, did long distance dating for 3 years, then moved to Orlando to be together.

Pete proposed at a family cottage on Lake Michigan that they go to every year. He took Chelsea to lunch one afternoon, and on our their way back, Pete insisted they’d walk out to the lighthouse. That’s where he had a photographer waiting as he proposed out on the pier. After taking engagement photos, they went back to the cottage where Pete surprised Chelsea with both of their families, best friends from college, and his best friends waiting to celebrate. It was the best day for the two!

Chelsea and Pete had a beautiful wedding day at The Vinoy Renaissance in St Pete. The two love to vacation in St. Pete, and wanted to have their wedding somewhere where their friends and families could enjoy right after the holidays. The tea garden at the Vinoy was perfect, so much that it inspired Chelsea’s stunning wedding gown with all the flowers. Pete's favorite color is blue, which is why they went with navy for the bridesmaid’s dresses and Pete's suit.

Their ceremony took place on the Tea Garden at the Vinoy which was gorgeously decorated with foliage on the white chairs that seated their guests. They said their I-Do’s and went off to their reception dinner which took place at The Vinoy’s Sunset Ball. Floating candles, floral placement cards, lanterns and green foliage topped the guest’s dinner tables - it was simply spectacular!

Congratulations the the new Mr. and Mrs!!!

Gabriella + Michael Step Into The Limelight | The Floridan Palace Hotel | Tampa, FL

Gabriella and Michael met each other during the famous pirate invasion of Tampa event called Gasparilla in 2015. They had been out with friends celebrating when they just so happen to meet at Macdintons. Michael came up to strike up a conversation after just moving back to the Tampa area and the rest is history!

On Christmas Eve 2017, they were at Gabriella's mother's house having dinner. Somehow, Michael had found the time to sneak away and ask her parent's permission to marry me. Michael surprised her with plane tickets to Hawaii, a place that she had always dreamed of going! They left the morning after Christmas and had an absolute blast. On New Years Eve, they went for a walk on one of the private beaches. They sat on the beach when all of a sudden, Michael got down on one knee and proposed. They rang in the new year in Hawaii and could not wait to come home and celebrate with their family and friends!

Gabriella has this to say about her love for Michael, “Michael has an awesome sense of humor, he is a great friend and gets along with everyone! His laugh is contagious and so unique. He keeps me calm and always is my voice of reason. I love to travel with him because he loves trying new things and always keeps an open mind. He works very hard and is a loyal son, is great with his family and mine.”
Together they bring out the best in each other and have a sense of humor and their LAUGHING is contagious! They enjoy lounging by the pool or beach, traveling and cooking together.

They wanted their wedding to be very romantic and traditional. They knew that they wanted to embrace Tampa's culture and show their guests why they love this city so much. Everything felt fresh but still warm with florals and lighting. The Floridan is so iconic and grandiose, boasting the most beautiful architecture and was absolutely stunning during the holiday season. The black tie attire certainly matched the ambiance and set the tone for a glamorous final weekend in 2018!

Gabriella was most excited for her wedding dress and they both loved their band, the florals. They also had some amazing details during the cocktail hour that are unique to Tampa - a cigar aficionado and a flamenco guitarist!

Gabriella and Michael really love to have fun and entertain, and they certainly paid attention to every little at the biggest party they will ever have! They picked out each detail together so that everything at the wedding was a reflection of both of their families and history, and the different pieces that bring them happiness.

So many special emotional moments throughout the day left all of the guests feeling overjoyed and in awe of the elegant decor. You could see and feel the love as Gabriella was first walking down the aisle with her dad, when her dad gave her away and as Gabriella and Michael said their vows. The excitement and celebration of love continued as their shared their first kiss and first dance as husband and wife with all of the most special people in our lives being in one room witnessing their joy.

Sharada + Nivasen Step Into The Limelight | Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach | Clearwater Beach, FL

We had such the pleasure working with Nivi and Shar who had the most spectacular wedding at the beautiful Wyndham Clearwater Beach Resort. Our day started nice and early with Shar in a room full of her loved ones who helped her get ready for the big day. Red and Gold covered her from head to toe - she looked stunning! Once both were ready, they gathered themselves with their family and went right into the ceremony which was located in the grand ballroom. A gorgeously decorated stage seated both Nivi’s and Shar’s family and the ritual which would bring blessings, prosperity and happiness took place. Once they were officially married and blessed by all their friends and family, the two enjoyed a nice walk at the beach before heading back inside to get ready for their reception dinner which they had been highly anticipating.

Their reception ball room was vibrant and strategically decorated to the couples liking. Large blue and silver drapes covered the stage where the couple would sit on an elegant white chair. A flower wall was set as a background and the entire room was lit in blue uplighting. Guest tables consistent of different centerpieces which were made of glass and silver pieces. Dancing was definitely the main focus of this gathering and the two along with their guest danced the entire night away. What a celebration this was! Congratulations to the newly weds!!!

Ali + John Step Into The Limelight | Vinoy® Renaissance Resort & Golf Club | St. Petersburg , FL

Ali and John met in Washington DC, They have a lot in common as far as interests and hobbies go and enjoy boating, being outside, and sports. John proposed to Ali at sunset on the balcony of our hotel in Cabo Mexico while they were on vacation. It was the sweetest moment and a new beginning for the couple.

This lovely couple said their I-Do’s at the beautiful Vinoy in downtown St Pete. They chose this venue because they wanted a wedding that represented the area and The Vinoy was just that.  They chose to meld "old Florida" with classic St. Pete which was just perfect! The two are both from Florida, but not from St. Pete, so they both wanted to make sure to capture all of that in the wedding theme and location. Utilizing oranges and orange colored florals, the wedding had that classic Florida feel. The ceremony site was lined with greenery on the floor with candles, reception was filled with little orange blossoms, oranges as placement “cards” and candles to light each table. Congratulations to the newly weds!

Rachel + Joe Step Into the Limelight | Sunken Gardens | Dali Museum | North Shore Park | St. Petersburg, FL

It all started when Joe’s mom and a friend of Rachel’s mom had a brilliant idea! Why not set them up? “Yes! Rachel + Joe would make a great couple” .They were not wrong! {mamas know best}
After two years of dating, Joe decided it was time to propose. They lived in the Florida Keys at the time and Joe had the perfect spot to pop the question. At their favorite reef, how unique is that?
They are in the process of planning their wedding at the historic Vinoy® Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club in October of 2019.
We had the pleasure of getting to know this couple during their engagement session in Downtown St. Pete, as we captured sweet and romantic moments at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, The Dali Museum and North Shore Park.
We are so honored to be a part of this couple’s love story and we cannot wait until we get to capture their big day! We have feeling it will be pretty amazing.
Remember folks, enjoy the process and invest in what will last forever!
