Bhavya + Michael Step Into The Limelight | Opal Sands Resort | Clearwater Beach, FL

Bhavya and Michael met in graduate school (2016) and started out as friends for a long time and slowly developed interest in each other. One Sunday night, while the two were hanging out in their apartment, Michael proposed and of course Bhavya said YES! They both love the beach and sunshine which is why they decided to get married at the Opal Sands on Clearwater Beach. Friends and family from different parts of the country came to join them on their special day. The ever so stunning Bhavya walked down the aisle to Michael who had the biggest smile as his bride walked towards him. Once pronounced husband and wife, we made our way to the shore to enjoy a beautiful sunset next to the ocean. The reception was held in one of the Opal Sand’s banquet rooms where the two celebrated the night away with their sweet family and friends. It was truly a pleasure being part of this wedding. Congratulations to the newlyweds!!!

Nina + Cyress Step Into The Limelight | The Orlo | Tampa, FL

The sweetest of people, contagious joy, relentless emotions, meaningful traditions and a strong core foundation. All one needs to embark on an unforgettable journey.

Nina & Cyress met at barber school in 2014 and saw themselves in love and full of love to give in Bangkok Thailand as Cyress proposed to Nina.

Cyress is from Thailand and Nina’s family is from Cuba, their entire wedding day was filled with cultural heritage and traditions, from the groom’s attire to a traditional Thailand dance to the guava treats and cafe con leche during the reception. Witnessing these two families seamlessly embrace each other’s culture was magic 💕

Nina’s vision for her wedding day was a tropical, modern, clean and warm look with wild colors and simple greenery + palms - I think they nailed it! We felt ALL of that! Every little detail was elegant yet easy.

We felt so much love, gentleness and we truly love watching how Nina + Cyress loved on each guest ensuring their gratitude,  it truly was a sight to see {everyone deserves a tight hug from Nina!}

Thank you to the Madera + Kagwast for families for having us be a part of such a special day for Nina + Cyress - Thank you!  We pray that ALL you do be guided in love and may all of you ever dreamt come true.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Brittany + Troy Step Into The Limelight | Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort And Spa | Clearwater Beach, FL

Brittany + Troy first met at an Army training event at Fort Dix in New Jersey. Troy caught Brittany’s eye when she observed how caring, patient and goal oriented he was. Their conversations started by discussing their awesome Army skills and then progressed to talking about their love of family, food, and future business ventures. They also discovered that they are both graduates from a Historically Black College or University!

Brittany and Troy have both been deployed, and knowing that Troy would have to leave again soon they spent every moment together traveling. While traveling, Brittany would talk about her future goals and they eventually became his as well. It was during this treasured time that Brittany knew that she wanted him to be her husband.

During one of  Troy’s previous deployments Brittany wrote him a love letter to which he claimed to “never have received.” However, on April 15th, 2017 Brittany and Troy were hosting a housewarming party…Troy used this event as a platform to propose to Brittany. It wasn’t just any type of proposal, he got down on one knee and proposed to Brittany by reading her the “lost love letter” that she sent him during his deployment. Of course she said yes! Troy say’s Brittany enhances his life in every aspect. She is constantly setting goals and it is only a matter of time before she reaches them. There is nothing that she can’t do.

Even though Troy and Brittany are not from this area, they have been visiting Florida for years. They love being able to enjoy they warm weather and tropical feel during the winter months. Since they love to travel, they knew it would be great for their family as well. Brittany and Troy styled their wedding to be the epitome of black elegance with a Nubian twist and I have to admit black, royal blue, and gold never looked SO GOOD!

Congratulations Brittany + Troy, I loved hearing you say “I’m married!” to your guests. It was such a happy and heartfelt moment!

Kristen + Eric Step Into The Limelight | Museum of Fine Arts | St. Petersburg, FL

Kristen + Eric met on a snowy night in Cape Cod, Massachusetts in 2012 and have been on many adventures together ever since. Whether it is snowboarding, cliff jumping, kayaking, hiking, they both have SO much fun together! In true adventurous fashion, Eric proposed to Kristen in a living treehouse in Burlington, Vermont!

Recently, Kristen + Eric have started a new chapter of their lives by moving to Florida. When Kristen + Eric were deciding where to have their wedding they decided that they wanted their family to experience Florida’s tropical atmosphere, as well as, having their guests embark on an adventure of their own. It just so happens that the weather this time of year is perfect for vacations….and weddings, so there was no better time to showcase their new hometown!

On their wedding day, the weather was perfect and with a slight breeze ensuring that their northern guests did not get too hot. The ceremony atmosphere at the Museum of Fine Arts’ garden gave a little bit of ‘old Florida’ charm as well as classic elegance. When the ceremony came to conclusion and Kristen + Eric turned to their guests to be announced as husband and wife, their guests erupted in the most exciting and heartfelt moment I have ever experienced. It was a true celebration of love!

Congratulations on becoming Mr. and Mrs. Eric + Kristen, you are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met ♥️

Jamie + Adam Step Into The Limelight | Powel Crosley Estate | Sarasota, FL

Jamie had met every Jewish man in Boston, or so she felt. With many of her friends cozied up in warm relationships amidst the cold, snowy winter of 2015, she had nearly given up hope.

Just then, an OkCupid message arrived. It was from a handsome, Jewish man hailing from Montreal, but living nearby in Cambridge -- a geographically desirable location! “Your snow pants are pretty epic. I still wear the same old, boring black. Well done!” he said. A skier and a member of the tribe?! Jamie was intrigued!

They agreed to meet at Barcelona Wine Bar in Boston’s South End. When Jamie arrived, she was pleasantly surprised. Adam greeted her at the door with a warm smile, and things were off to a promising start.

Fast forward a few months.  After a drink at Ward 8, Adam gathered the courage to ask Jamie to “go steady.”  Jamie delightedly agreed. After 31 years of moving more often than he ever would have expected, Adam was excited about the prospect of “settling down” in Boston.  Jamie loved Boston, and had no plans to leave. “There’s just one thing,” she added. “I took a call from a recruiter in San Francisco this morning, but I’m sure it’s going nowhere.”

Adam already knew that he would rather move than lose this girl. As it became clear that Jamie’s career would be taking her to San Francisco, Adam sold off his favourite black leather couches and moved out of his beloved Cambridge bachelor pad.  Without furniture or doubt, Jamie and Adam packed their essentials in his trusty Subaru: “California, here we come!”

You cannot help but feel the sincere love these two have for each other.  When asked what they love most about each other…”Everything!” Awe❤️ Adam’s humor and Jamie’s sincerity are two of their most endearing traits. He liked it so he put a ring on it 🎶 These two are the ultimate #Hipsters. They enjoy Subarus, traveling, Reggaeton, skinny jeans, Warby Parkers, Costco, coconuts, avocados, oatmeal, dairy-free milk alternatives, finding a great deal and planning. Together they are very active and they love to ski, bike, hike, yoga, cook, read, and host great parties…so it only makes sense their wedding as so fabulous!

They were insured with the planning of their wedding by their love of family, the outdoors and all things vintage. The atmosphere was fun, semi-formal and had a modern twist on vintage.  The traditional Jewish ceremony, and saying their personalized vows in front of their family and community right near the water was such a highlight of the day! Jamie said part of her vows in French and Spanish as a little tribute to Adam, his background and the languages he speaks. She said the first few sentences in French and the second few sentences in Spanish. Then she switched to English. It was really fun to see the father of the groom Richard when Jamie started to speak in French. He was floored! The rest of the audience was also amazed (including Jamie’s Mom who was also probably confused at first!), especially the folks from Quebec. When Jamie said the part in Spanish, the MOH Ariella and Best Man Jonny were also shocked!

One of the best moments of the day was when a torrential downpour and tornado like winds blew in out of nowhere. While waiting for the rain to blow over, Jamie and Adam ran to the front porch and laughed and danced and snuggled. They were overjoyed that this rain means good luck on the wedding day - and it cooled things down! Nothing was going to steal the joy from these two!

In summary, Jamie and Adam along with their guests celebrated and felt Vegan (ish).  Kosher (ish).  Drunk (ish).  Happy (very).
