Tina + Joey Step Into The Limelight | Downtown St. Pete, FL

We had such an amazing time photographing this beautiful couple around the Museum of Fine Arts grounds in Downtown St Pete. Tina and Joey met about 3 years ago and have been inseparable ever since! They are both hard working individuals and love to stay active together. They will be saying their I-Do’s in August of 2020 at the Museum of Fine Arts St Pete and it will be spectacular, we simply can’t wait! Congratulations to this newly engaged couple!

Erika + Wynn Step Into The Limelight | Downtown St. Petersburg

So much of Erika and Wynn’s love story is tied in to downtown St Pete! They had their first date at Red Mesa Cantina - we were able to even photograph them sitting at the exact same table! They spend many date nights at the local St Pete bars. And they were engaged in Straub Park, just beyond the Vinoy, and then headed to Red Mesa Cantina where friends and family met them to celebrate! They also will have their rehearsal dinner at Red Mesa Cantina, and their wedding will be held at the St Pete Museum of Fine Art. Wynn loves sailing and they both enjoy the water so we had to incorporate that in our session as well.

Due to an unexpected cold snap, the couple each wore a different outfit than originally planned. However, it worked out GREAT and made it easy to capture good “cuddle” “lovey” pictures. Congratulations Erika and Wynn - we are so excited for your upcoming wedding!

Kristen + Steven Step Into The Limelight | MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS ST. PETERSBURG | ST. PETERSBURG, FL

Steven and Kristen met in October of 2017. Kristen was volunteering at a charity golf tournament at Innisbrook and Steven was playing in the tournament. They spent the evening talking at the after party and the rest is history! Kristen loves how Steven always has the ability to make her laugh and how he is always up for an adventure. Steven loves how Kristen is so comfortable to be around. They love traveling, hiking, trying new restaurants, cooking, skiing, and just spending time together.

Steven proposed during a planned a trip for Kristen’s 40th Birthday at Glacier National Park. They were on their 6th mile, hiking near Iceberg Lake and enjoying the beautiful scenery when Steven asked Kristen to marry him. Kristen was so shocked and happy, and the view made it even more majestic and so special.

Kristen and Steven chose to get married at the Museum of Fine Arts in downtown St Petersburg, Florida because they wanted to get married where they fell in love. St Petersburg hosted many of their first dates and it was important to Kristen and Steven to share their love and city with their family and friends.

Congratulations Kristen and Steven!

Karen + Joey Step Into The Limelight | St. Pete Museum of Fine Arts | St. Petersburg, FL

In August of 2014, Karen and Joey met through a combination of mutual friends while working at the same place. Joey quickly discovered Karens Kind and caring nature, while, Karen really enjoyed Joey’s sense of humor and how he was always making her laugh. In November, they decided to start dating.

Knowing Karens love of museums, Joey attempted to propose at The Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, however, Karen wasn’t prepared to go to the museum because she was too hungry. Instead of going to the museum, Joey proposed to Karen with a beautiful Emerald engagement ring in the comfort of their own home.

Karen and Joey love watching TV and movies, eating out and trying new restaurants, but their favorite is to travel and visit museums. Which is where the inspiration for their wedding location came from. Not only do they have a love for downtown St Pete, they also love the beauty of the Museum of Fine Arts as well.

Joey and Karen’s wedding was not your typical wedding, there was no theme. I know that sounds strange to others, but I found it amazingly refreshing. After all, they weren’t throwing a birthday or Halloween party, it was their wedding day! They chose to incorporate details that were very unique to them. For example, they had emerald green groomsmen details and bridesmaids dresses, to showcase the engagement ring and the love of their relationship. Next, they had books as their table numbers, because they love to read. They had a Lego cake topper of a bride and groom and a thumb print guest book in the theme of the movie “UP.”

Congratulations on becoming husband and wife Karen and Joey!
