From the moment I arrived at Tampa Yacht & Country Club, I knew this wedding day was going to be one of my absolute favorites. The energy, the elegance, the people—everything came together in the most beautiful and heartfelt way. Photographing Kazi and Steven’s wedding felt like stepping into a love story that was equal parts timeless, joyful, and deeply genuine. As a Tampa Wedding Photographer, these are the days that remind me exactly why I love what I do.
And I’ll be honest…I cried during the family formals. Not because anything went wrong, but because everything felt so right. The love in that room was overwhelming in the best way. I’m so, so grateful I get to do this.
A Love That Started With Mini Golf
Kazi and Steven first met on Bumble, and their very first date was mini golfing—where Kazi proudly took the win! From that day forward, their connection grew into a partnership built on laughter, ambition, and the sweetest kind of everyday support.
Steven proposed on his childhood baseball field after a run, dropping to one knee right on the pitcher’s mound. A moment so personal and nostalgic—it set the tone for the heartfelt celebration they created on their wedding day.
What They Love Most
Kazi loves that Steven is driven, protective, hilarious, and pushes her to be her best every single day. Steven loves that Kazi is beautiful, intelligent, the hardest worker he knows, and gives him a sense of peace while inspiring him to grow.
Together they enjoy working out, bar hopping, watching the Blue Jays, exploring new restaurants, and hanging out with their adorable dog, Owen.
A Timeless, Fun, Tampa Wedding
Their vision for their Tampa, FL wedding was simple: timeless, elevated style with details that felt uniquely them—plus the best dance party ever.
The inspiration came from their love of the black-and-white aesthetic and a venue with that “old-money” charm. The combination of the grand ballroom and the outdoor tent at Tampa Yacht & Country Club was the perfect match.
And the details…wow.
It was stunning, intentional, personal, and full of heart.
The People Make the Magic
When I asked them what made their wedding unique, they answered immediately: The people.
And it showed.
Every hug, every cheer, every tear during the ceremony—this day was filled with love from start to finish. Their guests were ready to celebrate them loudly and fully, which made the dance floor absolutely electric.
Loved. Happy. Together.
