Sandy and Kevin were married on a beautiful, sunny and windy day at Tampa Palms Country Club surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Their story goes back further than most. They technically met in preschool, something they only discovered years later through an old photo. They truly met at fourteen in high school, became close friends, stayed connected through college, and began dating during winter break of their senior year in 2016. Kevin later proposed privately in their New York City apartment, a simple and meaningful moment that felt completely true to them.

The vision for their wedding was open, relaxed, and joyful. After spending much of their time in New York City apartments, they wanted sunlight and fresh Florida fresh air.

Spring florals and pastel tones reflected a Florida garden feel. Sandy chose a simple, classic gown before changing into a fun reception outfit with pants and a feathered top. Bridesmaids wore mixed colors and styles, adding personality to the day.

Personal touches appeared throughout, including custom signage designed by Sandy and a guest board featuring the venue for friends and family to sign. Cocktail hour at sunset, accompanied by live saxophone music, became one of the highlights of the evening.

Officiated by one of their closest friends, the ceremony told their story through memories gathered from both families. The night ended outside under twinkle lights with dancing, laughter, and exactly the atmosphere they hoped to create: whimsical, carefree, and happy.

The day unfolded with a soft kind of beauty—the kind you can’t really plan for, but everything just falls into place. From the moment we arrived, there was this calm, emotional energy in the air that carried through every part of the celebration.

The getting-ready moments were filled with excitement and anticipation. Each suite had its own rhythm—quiet, intimate moments mixed with laughter and little bursts of emotion. Capturing the details, the expressions, and those in-between moments is always one of my favorite parts of the day. It sets the tone for everything that follows.

As the day moved forward, the emotions only grew stronger. The first looks were incredibly special—raw, genuine reactions that reminded everyone what the day was really about. There’s something so powerful about those private exchanges, especially when vows are shared in a more intimate setting. It felt like time slowed down for a moment.

The ceremony itself was beautiful and full of meaning. You could feel how much love surrounded them—not just between the couple, but from everyone present. Every glance, every smile, every tear added to the story of the day in such a real way.

Afterward, we moved into portraits, which brought a nice shift in energy. Despite a bit of wind, everything came together perfectly. The couple absolutely shined—effortless, connected, and completely in their element. Those are always the moments that create the most timeless images.

As the evening continued, the celebration really came to life. From the grand entrance to the dances and heartfelt toasts, every part of the reception felt genuine and full of joy. The energy carried all the way through to the final send-off, ending the night on such a high note.

Overall, it was a day filled with emotion, connection, and so many meaningful moments. Being able to document something like this is always special—these are the kinds of days that remind me why I love what I do so much.

Kendall and Brenden’s Brooksville wedding at Legacy Lane Weddings felt like home. As a Florida wedding photographer with Limelight Photography, I had the honor of stepping into a story that began long before the aisle—one rooted in friendship, laughter, and the kind of connection that only deepens over years of love.

Their journey started at Florida Southern College in 2019, where they built a beautiful friendship first. Hearing how a late-night FaceTime call turned into something more (and eventually led to their official start in 2021) made documenting their wedding day feel even more meaningful. Every glance, every laugh—it all reflected years of knowing and loving each other deeply.

Kendall’s proposal story still makes me smile. Even though Brenden’s original plan didn’t go as expected, the way he showed up and proposed in her sister’s living room—right in the middle of a quiet, real-life moment—was the perfect reflection of their love: genuine, flexible, and full of heart. Truly the kind of story that defines a Florida Bride experience.

Their wedding day itself was everything they envisioned—timeless, sentimental, and full of love. The venue’s stunning architecture paired with touches of pearls, soft blue bridesmaid dresses (their “something blue”), and subtle nods to Brenden’s Texas roots created such a thoughtful and cohesive design. It was the perfect blend of elegance and Southern hospitality—a true FL Wedding dream.

One of my favorite moments to capture (and honestly, one I’ll never get tired of) was when Brenden turned around to see Kendall for the first time. You could feel everything in that moment—the anticipation, the emotion, the overwhelming love. This is why I’m so passionate about Candid Photography—those real, unfiltered reactions are what tell the story best.

From quiet in-between moments to a dance floor filled with joy, their entire day felt exactly how they described it in four simple words: full of love. It was a celebration not just of a wedding, but of a friendship turned forever.

Alex and Kevin’s wedding was a stunning celebration of timeless romance, modern elegance, and deep-rooted love. Held at the breathtaking Tampa EDITION, their wedding day was the perfect reflection of who they are: fun-loving, stylish, and completely in sync.

Though Alex and Kevin had known of each other for over a decade—growing up in the same area and attending rival high schools—it wasn’t until early 2023 that their story truly began. After reconnecting through social media, they shared their first date in January at Parts of Paris in Safety Harbor, and from that moment, everything changed.

Later that year, Kevin planned a heartwarming beachside proposal. Under the pretense of celebrating his mother’s birthday at Carlouel Yacht Club, he led Alex on a quiet walk along the shore and surprised her by getting down on one knee. Their closest family members were waiting nearby to celebrate the newly engaged couple in a beautiful, intimate gathering.

From the very beginning, Alex and Kevin envisioned a wedding that felt classy, romantic, and personal. The couple curated a champagne-colored palette accented by white florals, baby’s breath, and glowing candlelight to bring their elegant vision to life. Their “Find Your Seat” display and “Love That Built Us” table showcased their journey together, while a Polaroid guestbook table gave guests a fun way to share candid memories.

The morning of the wedding was filled with joyful anticipation. Alex cherished getting ready with her bridesmaids, enjoying laughter, mimosas, and special moments before walking down the aisle. Her wedding gown—a true statement piece—perfectly matched the upscale vibe of the venue.

The couple’s ceremony was a powerful, emotional highlight of the day. Seeing each other for the first time as Alex walked down the aisle was a moment neither will ever forget. As they said “I do,” surrounded by loved ones in a luxurious, modern setting, the energy was palpable.

Later, the celebration continued with a vibrant reception full of dancing, music, and laughter. Their shared love for a good party shined through, making the night unforgettable for their guests.
