Limelight Photography had the privilege of capturing a breathtaking proposal at The CURRENT, where Elliott planned the most romantic surprise for his girlfriend Aubrey. He orchestrated a dinner date and convinced Aubrey to promise to take a selfie with him. Little did she know, it was all part of his master plan. Aubrey dolled up in a stunning floral dress, unaware of the magic about to unfold.

Elliott suggested catching the sunset before dinner, leading them down to the private beach on the Gulf of Mexico at The CURRENT. As they strolled, the staff had already set up a picturesque scene with a floral bouquet and chairs, creating an ambiance straight out of a fairytale. Unbeknownst to Aubrey, photographer Rebecca was discreetly hiding in the bushes, ready to immortalize the moment.

Despite Elliott's nerves, he dropped to one knee with the ring in hand. But in a moment of adorable clumsiness, he dropped the ring! Aubrey's laughter mixed with tears of joy filled the air as she realized what was happening. Together, they searched and found the ring, and Elliott finally popped the big question, to which Aubrey joyfully exclaimed yes!

We recently had the honor of photographing Brittni + Jeremy’s big day. Their journey began with a serendipitous introduction facilitated by a mutual friend eight years ago. From that moment, their connection grew through exchanged texts and heartfelt conversations, eventually leading up to a simple, yet profound proposal on the familiar sidewalk outside their home.

What resonates most about Brittni and Jeremy is their shared joy of the pleasures + adventures of life: travel, exploring national parks, diving into the depths of the ocean, trying out craft breweries, and more.
