Laila + Douglas Step Into The Limelight | Streamsong Resort | Bowling Green, FL

Michael and I hit it off instantly with Laila and Doug. This couple is down to earth, sincere, humble, hard working and honest. They met 5 years ago while Laila was managing a tanning salon and Doug kept returning for frequent tanning just to hang around Laila and ask her to go on a date with her! Their first date was at Starbucks and Laila proposed to Doug with a ring pop in their kitchen – the cutest story ever!  You may see images from their engagement portrait session here. They enjoy working out, going to nice dinners, traveling, and hanging out at home with the dogs.

Their wedding was romantic, vintage and organic. Laila’s dress was a show stopper! And it was incredible to see the look of love in Doug’s eyes when he saw Laila walking down the aisle for their short and sweet ceremony. Laila wrote the ceremony herself! :) One of the best parts of the wedding day was this sweet couple spending time dancing and having fun with the people they love.  Their guests felt comfortable, loved important and a part of something very special!

We really enjoyed getting to know them and capture part of their love story.

Taylor + Nicholas Step Into The Limelight | Longboat Key Club | Longboat Key, FL

Nicholas + Taylor met in 2014 at Stonewood Restaurant and beautifully enough, Nicholas proposed to Taylor also at a Restaurant, Oystercatchers outside on the dock!

Taylor LOVES his kindness and how he always puts others ahead of himself, no matter the situation. She loves his dedication and his drive as well. Nicholas loves her smile! Her kind heart and independence.

Together, they love to relax! Either on the beach or at a restaurant. They enjoy sitting back, having a drink and being in other’s company. They also LOVE football season, every Sunday everyone comes over for a big family dinner and watch all the games.

They also LOVE Longboat, it’s their “happy place” where they can go to get away from it all, so the Longboat Key Club was the perfect location for these two to tie the knot surrounded my amazing friends and family.

Something special the the bride & groom did was to incorporate a lace piece from their mother’s wedding dresses onto their attire… and not just anywhere but just by their hearts. Inside Taylor dress and as the pocket square for Nicholas { so thoughtful! }.

The feel was relaxing, laid back, all about family and so much FUN. Oh how I love me some Taylor! Her love for life is contagious and we laughed from beginning to end. I love her laugh… you know those belly laughs you can’t help but laugh along too? Yes! All day… so good! And Nicholas is so good to her, he goes with the flow and is very attentive to everyone around.

I wish both of you ALL great and stupendous things! You two deserve the world. Enjoy {I am sure you will!}

Erika + Brian Step Into The Limelight | Carrollwood Country Club | Tampa, FL

Erika and Brian first got introduced to each other through a friend they had in common. Their relationship became closer and closer until one day, while at the Rockefeller Christmas Tree in New York City, Brian proposed to Erika. Erika loves how Brian is loving, caring, and admires his strong sense of style. She adores him and how he is a family man, a fireman and a hard worker. Brian loves Erika’s drive, ambition, her work ethic, how beautiful and friendly she is. Together, they are kind and love to help others. They are truly quite the remarkable couple!

On October 20th, Erika and Brian said their I-Do’s at the Carrollwood Country Club on a day that started out with rain. As the day progressed, the clouds let the sunlight shine down and it turned out to be quite a spectacular day! Once pronounced husband and wife, the two happily danced their way into their reception hall which was decorated with a mixture of candles, flowers, a fireman’s axe, chill pill prescription favors and many other little details that reflected their lives.

It was truly an honor to be part of such a wonderful celebration of love. Congratulations to the new mr. and mrs!

Amanda + Joseph Step Into The Limelight | Powel Crosley Estate | Sarasota, FL

Amanda and Joseph met a little over 6 years ago while living in Chicago. Amanda fell in love with Joe’s kindness, humor and how well he would take care of her. While on a trip in Europe, Joe proposed to Amanda and she said yes! Together, they enjoy traveling and collage football. Their sense of humor is perfect for each other and keep their relationship at its best.

Amanda and Joe had a beautiful ceremony at the Powel Crosley Estate, on the patio of the estate. Friends and family gathered to witness Amanda join the hands of the love of her life. As she walked down the aisle, both Amanda and Joe had the biggest smiles - they were so happy to see each other! After the sweet ceremony, Amanda and Joe joined their guests in a tent fully decorated with hanging lights, travel-themed center pieces and beautiful floral arrangements. They danced and celebrated the night way!

Congratulations to the newly weds!!!

Cassandra + Scott Step Into The Limelight | Vinoy Renaissance Resort & Golf Club | St. Petersburg, FL

Scott and Cassandra first met while working together in sales. While developing their work relationship they realized quickly that they shared similar interests and hit it off almost instantly! They decided that it was worth investing time with each other outside of work and even kept in touch almost daily while Cassandra was traveling in Europe for about a month during the summer. When Cassandra returned from her summer trip, Scott asked her to meet him for dinner at Sushi Inc, in downtown St. Pete. They comfortably sat for hours just talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. It didn't even feel like it was a date because it seemed overly natural and easy without the "first date" jitters and awkwardness. From that night on, they started coordinating their days off together and made plans every chance they could. Throughout the last three years, they’ve had the best of times, gone through difficult ones as well, and have traveled to various places in the US, Iceland, London and Costa Rica and can't wait for their next adventure together! While there is no "perfect" relationship, theirs has always been SO great! Scott likes to remind her that, “their relationship will even get better with time.” He proved it to Cassandra when Scott took her back to their first date at Sushi Inc. Cassandra had been out of town for business for about ten days and Scott wanted to celebrate her finally being home. To her surprise, he really wanted to take it back to where it all began and to start the next part of their journey by asking Cassandra to marry him. After Cassandra said 'yes!' they went to The Canopy at The Birchwood, and celebrated by toasting with glasses of champagne!

As local’s, Cassandra and Scott LOVE St. Petersburg. When searching for their venue they wanted a location that would provide the elegant and timeliness atmosphere they were looking for,  they found it at The Vinoy.  On their wedding day, The Vinoy’s architecture served as the beautiful backdrop for their Tea Garden ceremony…At the beginning of their ceremony I noticed Scott facing the wrong direction just as Cassandra was getting ready to walk to him. THEN, I got goosebumps as I realized that Scott didn’t want to see the bride until she was at the aisle. (This was a first look, but at the ceremony! How adorable! )He turned around once he received the signal that Cassandra had arrived. It was such a sweet moment and throughout the ceremony you could see how much they love each other….and when they read their vows, it pulled everyones heartstrings. Cassandra and Scott’s love for one another is so unconditional, rare and special.

Congratulations Cassandra + Scott, may your life continue to be blessed!
