Katherine + Lucas Step Into The Limelight | Sandbar Restaurant | Anna Maria, FL

Katie + Lucas’ story is a good one…

In the beginning of 2019, Lucas and Katie went to the graduation party of one of their mutual friends. Partway through the party, Katie spots Lucas and has to ask her friend who the tall man is (for reference for those who don’t know Lucas, he’s over 6 1/2 feet tall). Their mutual friend then introduces the two of them and Katie and Lucas spend the rest of the evening together. When they go their separate ways, Katie gives Lucas her number… or so they thought.

Katie waited for over a week wondering why Lucas hadn’t texted her to plan a date that he had promised her at the party… that’s when Lucas reached out to their mutual friend saying that he had the wrong number, whether it was on accident or purpose. Their friend then gave Lucas the CORRECT phone number, and then the rest is history!

Lucas popped the big question to Katie in December of 2021 while they were in Vail. Leading up to their engagement, they had traveled near and far together, adopted their fur baby Boomer, and even vacationed to Longboat Key (which is where they stayed for their wedding!).

Their big day was full of friends, laughter and lots of dancing. Their reception space was gorgeous, with a checkered dance floor, wicker lanterns, and tropical flowers. As Katie said throughout the day, it was “very chill”! Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, the music, and each other’s company.

Congrats to the Rytel’s!

Danielle + Tom Step Into The Limelight | Yacht StarShip | Tampa, FL

Danielle and Tom’s story starts in 2015 when they were both working in New York. They began carpooling together because they lived close, and those car rides eventually turned into date nights.

Because it’s oh-so romantic, we just have to tell you how Tom proposed…

Tom invited Danielle along with both of their parents to enjoy the Christmas light show at Jones Beach in NY while visiting for Thanksgiving. While walking through the winter wonderland, everyone stopped to take pictures and to take in the beautiful Christmas lights. After posing for an odd amount of time for pictures and videos, Tom took a step back, with a shaky voice said "I love you so much" and got on one knee in front of their parents. Not only was this the most beautiful moment and atmosphere, but it was, by no coincidence, the same place they shared their first date 6 summers before.

While Danielle and Tom now live in the Tampa Bay area, much of their family came from out of town, so they wanted their wedding celebration to be like a vacation for all of their loved ones! What a fun reverse-destination wedding for the couple, but sweet getaway for family.

These two wanted a simple, but stunning wedding day—and that’s just what they got. With a beautiful ride in Tampa Bay, a fun lunch-style wedding, and a whole day to spare in Tampa following the celebration, it was truly a relaxing and joyful occasion.

Rachel + Robert Step Into The Limelight | Shephard's Beach Resort | Clearwater Beach, FL

Rachel and Robert—a match made on Tinder!

Rachel and Robert’s wedding day was nothing short of happy tears, joyful laughs, a beach vacation + wedding all in one, and beautiful sights. These two tied the knot on a private beach at Shephard’s Beach Resort, surrounded by their closest friends and family. With just enough rain earlier in the day to make their wedding day a lucky one, the skies soon cleared up to bring in beautiful temps and an incredible sunset.

How Robert popped the question:

Robert surprised Rachel with a trip to Jamaica for their anniversary and she almost asked him not to propose on the trip! He did though, and she still said yes!

What Rachel and Robert love about each other:

Rachel: “I can be a little too serious sometimes, so I love that he’s a goof and brings out my silly side”.

Robert: “I love that she’s a strong, independent woman who brings out the best in me, but is still goofy and likes to do stupid dances with me.”

We loved witnessing Rachel + Robert’s love and getting to be a part of their big day. Congrats to the Cuthrell’s!

Ellie + Kevin Step Into The Limelight | Streamsong Resort | Bowling Green, FL

Ellie & Kevin met through mutual friends about 5 years ago…
Then Kevin surprised Ellie with a morning proposal at Petoskey State Beach. He set up a fake plan with her parents that led her to get ready to go to a paid event breakfast and we needed the tickets from her parents that were on their way up north. While they were waiting Kevin suggested we go to Petoskey State Beach where he stuffed the ring box in his shoe before walking on the sand. They were throwing the football back and forth and he threw it way over Ellie’s head then ran up behind her and when she turned around words were exchanged and he got down on one knee.

Ellie & Kevin try to make their lives easier for one another by doing things throughout the day. They challenge each other to be the best version of themselves, they have a lot of the same interests, they make each other laugh and are best friends. They both enjoy working out, interior design, real estate, trying new places to eat & drink and going up north Michigan to spend time with family and friends.
Ellie & Kevin’s wedding day was simple, classic, modern and unique, we loved the minimalistic and modern feel and you cannot go wrong with the architecture & gorgeous nature of Streamsong Resort.
We have not seen a champagne tower in many years and we so enjoyed seeing this trend back for Ellie & Kevin’s wedding day, it was such a “chic-Kodak” moment…
We truly LOVED being a part of Ellie & Kevin’s one-of-a-kind day and we wish them both a lifetime of many picture perfect and memorable moments together as Mr & Mrs 🥂
