Kaitlin + Dylan Step Into The Limelight | HYATT REGENCY CLEARWATER BEACH RESORT & SPA | CLEARWATER BEACH, FL

As a photographer, I have had the privilege of witnessing countless love stories unfold before my lens, each unique and beautiful in its own way. Kaitlin and Dylan's wedding was no exception. From the moment I met them, it was clear that their love was something truly special. So, join me as I take you through their enchanting beachy Florida wedding, capturing every candid moment and heartfelt emotion. 

They shared the story of how they met, through a dating app in 2018. What stood out was their immediate connection, as they went on three dates in their first week together. 

Dylan's proposal was nothing short of breathtaking. He meticulously planned every detail, even practicing the setup at his parents' house to ensure it was perfect. When Kaitlin walked into their Chicago apartment, she was met with a dreamy scene – rose petals strewn across the floor, candles casting a warm glow, a lavish bouquet of flowers, Champagne on ice, chocolate-covered strawberries, and light-up letters spelling "Marry Me.” 

What struck me about Kaitlin and Dylan was the authenticity of their love. Kaitlin admires Dylan's ability to make her smile on the toughest days, while Dylan cherishes their harmonious connection. They truly are "peas in a pod" and complement each other perfectly. 

Their love for music is palpable, and they enjoy attending various shows together. Exploring new restaurants in Chicago is another shared passion, as is their love for travel – especially to the beach. Family holds a special place in their hearts, and they cherish moments spent together. And, like many of us, they're avid Netflix series enthusiasts. 

Their wedding was a beautiful reflection of their journey as a couple. They wanted every detail to exude their love, from the choice of flowers to the musical genres that filled their day. Their relationship, like every relationship, had its ups and downs, but it always felt natural – a flow that they wanted to replicate on their wedding day. 

The couple's love for the beach and the water led them to choose Florida as their wedding destination, with a stunning water view. Their vision was clear – a fun, tropical atmosphere with beachy vibes. And Kaitlin's dress? It was the perfect match for their beachy dream. 

Their wedding radiated a fun Florida tropical vibe, featuring lush greenery, white flowers, pops of gold, and beautiful shades of blue. It was a dreamy beach affair that perfectly encapsulated their personalities. During the ceremony, they aimed to pause, turning toward their traveling guests, and truly absorb the love that surrounded them. At the reception, their goal was to have everyone on the dance floor, celebrating their love like a beautiful vacation away.

Taylor + Alex Step Into The Limelight | Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort And Spa | Clearwater Beach, FL

Alex and Taylor met in 2016 in Clearwater Beach, when they were both out for dinner. Taylor was with her friends and Alex was by himself, a mutual friend was at the bar and insisted on introducing us. The rest is history!

Alex then proposed to Taylor when they were at the top of Beech Mountain, NC (5506'), they found a place to sit with the most spectacular view! Alex got down acting like something was wrong with his ski boot.  For a few seconds Taylor thought to herself, "OMG why is he down on one knee".  He then told her how much he loved her and asked Taylor to be his wife.

Taylor loves everything about Alex, he is selfless, kind and sees the positive in everything. Alex loves Taylor’s kindness, work ethic, good nature, big heart. Both Alex and Taylor love the Florida outdoors! 4 wheeling, boating, beach days, pool days. They also love to ski!

Their inspiration for wedding location was clear… it all started in Clearwater Beach then made official in Beech Mountain only to be beautifully tied back on the Beach!

Alex and Taylor was formal with a tropical theme all throughout incorporating their beach theme.
We loved watching everyone celebrating Alex and Taylor’s LOVE and we wish this sweet couple many more adventures together as Mr & Mrs!

Jenna & Brant’s LOVE story…

It Started With Meiomi Now We're Here…

On a wintery night in Chicago we had our first date at the amazing Italian Restaurant Topo Gigio. From the moment we held hands and Brant lead the way through the ‘pre-covid’ Friday night crowd, we had an instant connection. Our first date started with our favorite wine Meiomi and effortless conversation, laughs, and openly sharing countless stories and future adventures we planned to have together....we ended up staying past closing with the restaurant owner. It was an instant connection that we knew was special and we have been inseparable ever since.

Early into our relationship we were faced with a Global Pandemic, a City shutting down, and a world that would test us in our blossoming relationship. The immediate reaction was to lean on one another. We both don't know what we would have done without one another in such a frightening time. So, it is only right that we did what every young couple plans not to do....we drove 19 hours across the country and moved back in with our parents. It was an amazing feeling to know that we had both families to open their arms, homes, and hearts. We were lucky enough to form such an amazing relationship with both sides of the family early on. We had a chance to escape the reality around us, but we were then faced with an even more terrifying reality coming out of our fictional retirement when we returned home. We drove into a city on fire, looting all around us, and a sense of fear for what was to come. As intense as a time it was, we made the best of it and had an absolute blast, together. We escaped to lake houses with our friends, had the best times at home playing games, talking about everything and anything, and listening to Paradise until the sun came up. We had the time to truly fall in love.

We have been lucky enough to be able to travel with friends and family and attend several sporting events….and somehow managed the house rule ‘go Bears, go Patriots.’ We confidently know our Top Chef skills are Food Network worthy and have expanded on our skills in the kitchen. We love going to our favorite restaurants and exploring new ones, although Grubhub and McDonald’s still may fall under fan favorites…guilty. (Please allow the excuse that there is no Federal Hill in Chicago for all the Italians & New Englanders cringing right now).

We constantly amaze one another with the fact that as unique and eccentric as each of us is, we have so found our perfect match and complement one another perfectly. The sense of balance and constant joy is truly a blessing. We are living an absolutely amazing love story and are so grateful to live it and share it with all of you.

Jenna & Brant are living an amazing love story and were excited to share it with their closest family and friends at their wedding. They wanted it to be an elegant and vibrant evening filled with great food, drinks, dancing, and fun. Not only did they celebrate their marriage but they also rang in the New Year with the ones closest to them. Happy 2023 everyone 🥂

Sarah + Sam Step Into The Limelight | HYATT REGENCY CLEARWATER BEACH RESORT AND SPA | CLEARWATER, FL

We can’t get enough of Sarah and Sam.

Sarah and Sam met when they were only 15 and 16 years old. They met at church camp, became friends, and kept in touch throughout the years. Sarah moved to Tampa after college and Sam moved to Chicago. Both Sarah and Sam were in serious relationships with other people, but they were friends so they kept in touch a couple of times throughout each year. When Sarah would go to visit family, she’d fly into Chicago and Sam would never fail to offer to pick her up and take her to her parents house. Eventually, both of their separate relationships ended and they started looking forward to the drives together during visits and felt like they were becoming more than friends, but they didn’t think it would ever become serious because of the distance.

Fast forward to after they eventually started dating, here’s how Sam proposed:

“We went to church in the morning, and Sam said he made lunch reservations at Salt Rock Grill—one of our favorite places. I knew something was up when he made reservations… Sam usually isn’t a planner! We went to lunch and had a wonderful time, but lunch came and went and he didn’t propose. I thought ‘Well, whatever. I could use a nap!’. He then said he needed to help one of our friends back at the church. We stopped at the church, he went in and I chatted with my friend Jen who was standing outside. After a few minutes, I walked int to see if they needed help and it was a set-up. Sam was standing there while our friend Dan was playing guitar. Sam proposed and I said yes!”

Sarah and Sam’s wedding ceremony took place at that same church and it was so beautiful. There were many happy tears shed by everyone. Throughout the entire day, you could feel the love by the way family and friends talked about Sarah and Sam.

We are so excited for these two and the new adventure that they get to experience through married life! We pray that they continue to grow in love and rich in happiness. Congratulations, Sarah & Sam!

Erica + Lionel Step Into The Limelight | Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort And Spa | Clearwater, FL

We all want to know…

How did he propose? It was the Fourth of July 2021 and we had just gotten back from Lionel’s cousins house. He asked Erica to wait in the car while he did something inside (Erica thought maybe Isabella had painted something for her). 20 minutes passed and Erica really had to use the restroom, so she called Lionel and asked if she could come inside now. When she walked in, Lionel had the stairs lined with rose petals and candles, and had their song playing in the background—it was at this point that Erica finally caught on. Erica walked up the stairs and found more rose petals and candles all over the room. Lionel was standing there waiting for her with the biggest smile on his face. Lionel said some very beautiful words, the specifics of which Erica doesn’t remember because her heart was beating so fast. Lionel then called for his girls Isabella (9) and Liana (4) to come out of their room and told Erica to turn around. When she did, she saw that both girls were wearing shirts that said “Will you marry our daddy?” Erica immediately dropped to her knees and began crying. When she turned to look at Lionel, he was on one knee and had the most gorgeous ring in his hand. It was easily the best day ever!

What do you love about each other: 

• Erica loves about Lionel: the incredible dad he is, the patience he has with her, how hardworking he is, the notes he leaves her in the morning, when he cleans the house and does yard work, how big his heart is.

• Lionel loves about Erica: The unbelievable role model and step-upped mother she has become for Isabella and Liana. The love and compassion she shows Lionel, Isabella, and Liana on a daily basis. Erica has been the best life partner Lionel could have ever asked for and is very blessed to have Erica in his life.

Interests/hobbies you enjoy doing together: we like to golf together, spend time with our families and our 2 girls.

Erica & Lionel’s wedding was pure magic! It was a beautiful story unfolding was they celebrated their families coming together and becoming one.
It was classic & timeless, we loved seeing Erica’s dad perform during their Ceremony and just how thoughtful it was for them to incorporate Spanish for Lionel’s side of the family. It was so sweet to see
