Katherine + Lucas Step Into The Limelight | Sandbar Restaurant | Anna Maria, FL

Katie + Lucas’ story is a good one…

In the beginning of 2019, Lucas and Katie went to the graduation party of one of their mutual friends. Partway through the party, Katie spots Lucas and has to ask her friend who the tall man is (for reference for those who don’t know Lucas, he’s over 6 1/2 feet tall). Their mutual friend then introduces the two of them and Katie and Lucas spend the rest of the evening together. When they go their separate ways, Katie gives Lucas her number… or so they thought.

Katie waited for over a week wondering why Lucas hadn’t texted her to plan a date that he had promised her at the party… that’s when Lucas reached out to their mutual friend saying that he had the wrong number, whether it was on accident or purpose. Their friend then gave Lucas the CORRECT phone number, and then the rest is history!

Lucas popped the big question to Katie in December of 2021 while they were in Vail. Leading up to their engagement, they had traveled near and far together, adopted their fur baby Boomer, and even vacationed to Longboat Key (which is where they stayed for their wedding!).

Their big day was full of friends, laughter and lots of dancing. Their reception space was gorgeous, with a checkered dance floor, wicker lanterns, and tropical flowers. As Katie said throughout the day, it was “very chill”! Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, the music, and each other’s company.

Congrats to the Rytel’s!

Carrie + Yianni Step Into The Limelight | Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church | Clearwater, FL

Carrie and Yianni met online on EligibleGreeks.com. Carrie came across Yianni's page first and couldn't believe how much they had in common after reading his profile. She liked his profile on the website, and waited 3 long days for him to finally message her. According to Yianni, when he came across Carrie's profile, he didn't think she was real because she had listed all of the same interests as him (he thought she copy & pasted from his page). He decided to pay the website anyway to allow him to message her to find out if she was real or not. After about a month of messaging and face-time calling each other, Yianni decided that he couldn't wait any longer to meet her and made the 11-hour drive down to St. Petersburg, FL to meet her in person for the first time. On their first date, he greeted her with a bouquet of flowers and a case of craft beer. The rest is history.

Oh my… these two are made for each other! We LOVED being able to witness their love for each other. Through the thoughtful traditions and meaningful details, both Carrie and Yianni commemorated their Greek heritage in beautiful ways. We love how Carrie and Yianni take such great pride in everything they do.

Their wedding day was full of LOVE and a whole lot of dancing. It was all pure joy.

We wish Carrie and Yianni a lifetime of happiness and many more beautiful memories together!

Να ζήσετε (na zisete)! A wish for a long life together, full of health and prosperity.

Tricia + Louis Step Into The Limelight | Sacred Heart Catholic Church | Opal Sands Resort | Clearwater Beach, FL

LOVE STORY

Their story began in 2014, during their first year of law school in Boston, Massachusetts. Tricia and Louis occasionally exchanged glances across a room with 100+ other students. Louis sat in the last row on the left side of the room, and Tricia sat in the first row on the right side. Tricia and Louis spoke for the first time after their Property Law midterm in October. They learned more about each other one Friday, after class, when their section mates gathered at Sidebar, a bar around the corner from their law school. Tricia and Louis connected after learning they were both native New Yorkers and shared similar morals and values.

Once their first-year finals had passed, Louis asked Tricia on a first date to the Museum of Fine Arts, remembering that Tricia loved art and spoke about taking an Italian Art and Architecture class in college. Tricia learned that Louis was a history major and was so impressed by the other side she saw of him.

That summer, Louis went back to New York for an internship opportunity in Manhattan while Tricia remained in Boston for her internship. When Louis completed his internship, he returned to Boston and asked Tricia to go to a rooftop pool she had wanted to try. Louis sent her a Snapchat of the Boston skyline asking, "Will you be my girlfriend? There is no better night." Tricia said yes, of course!

Tricia and Louis continued to strive and thrive in their relationship and careers, which brought them closer together. They shared many of the same goals and drive to succeed. Their partnership was founded on mutual respect, understanding, and support.

The following year, Tricia needed emergency oral surgery and was hospitalized the day before their Commercial Law final. Louis stayed by her side in her recovery room while studying for the exam. A month later, Tricia’s mom was diagnosed with a terminal illness, and Louis was unwavering in his love, patience, and understanding. Tricia's mom, unfortunately, passed away at the end of the summer. She always embraced Louis and told her nurse that they would get married one day. It meant so much to have her blessing and unconditional support.

Tricia and Louis graduated from law school in 2017 and decided to stay in Boston following graduation to pursue job opportunities and continue to build on their relationship. On the sixth anniversary of their first date, after delays due to the pandemic, Louis asked Tricia to marry him on the beach in Tulum, Mexico, which will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

After accomplishing many professional and personal goals and exploring the beautiful, historic city of Boston, Tricia and Louis decided to embark on a new adventure. In 2022, they decided to purchase a home together in Tampa, Florida, and begin the next chapter in their lives.

and OH MY GOODNESS did these two start off right!?
Their wedding celebration was one to remember!
From start to finish, we loved being able to witness Tricia & Louis’ dreams come to life. Every little details was filled with so much thought and deep meaning. Their Ceremony was lovely and it highlighted their beautiful love story with each verse and prayer. We were honored to witness Tricia & Louis expressing their love for their people throughout the day as well, with each long hug and attentive conversations with their families and friends. We ourselves even felt like part of the familia! We love how they LOVE! They ended the day with a HUGE party which included lots and lots of dancing and pure JOY! We loved being a part of their love story and we cannot wait to watch these two celebrate many more milestones together as Mr. & Mrs! Cheers to a beautiful couple ♡

Jillian + Trevor Step Into The Limelight | Bilmar Beach Resort | Treasure Island, FL

Jillian and Trevor’s story starts in October of 2017 when they found each other through online dating… and here we are in May 2023 to celebrate their beautiful wedding day on Treasure Island Beach, FL!

Jillian and Trevor, as well as all of their friends and family live out of state, so this was a summer vacation of the books! These two got to spend a sweet week leading up to their wedding day singing karaoke with their bridal party, as well as frequenting the beach.

Then comes the wedding day. Their wedding ceremony was sunny and sandy, taking place right near the ocean. You could see the seagulls flying in the background, accompanied by the sound of Jillian and Trevor exchanging their vows and Trevor’s brother Alex officiating.

Following the ceremony, everyone mingled among the patio at Bilmar, sipping champagne from the champagne wall, and witnessing Jillian + Trevor’s first dance + parent dances. Once the sun went down, the dance lights came on and everyone gathered on the dance floor, with Jillian and Trevor in the center. The energy was unmatched. So. Much. Fun.

We wish these two so much joy and love going into their future together and Mr. & Mrs.! Congrats to Jillian and Trevor—we absolutely loved being a part of your wedding day.
