Katie + Josh Step Into The Limelight | TradeWinds Island Grand Resort | St. Pete Beach, FL

Katie and Josh matched on a dating app and went on their first date at Armature Works. They hit it off immediately and have been inseparable ever since.
One day, Josh and Katie went on a walk during sunset on St. Pete Beach. To Katie’s surprise, Josh dropped down on one knee and asked her to marry him. He even hired a photographer to capture the entire thing (nice move, Josh!).

One of Tara and I’s favorite moments was during the sunset session. A group of young kids were watching Katie and John take their photos. Katie looked so beautiful that I just had to ask Josh to take a step out so she could show off her dress for one photo. The kids watching came up to Josh and started asking him relationship advice. One kid asked Josh how he got a girl as beautiful as Katie.

Tiffany + Mike Step Into The Limelight | Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort And Spa | Clearwater, FL

Get to know Tiffany & Mike…

How/when did you meet each other: Summer of 2011. My best friend Kailey and myself were still friends with her high school sweetheart Will, and he invited us down to his friends dock party. That "friend" was Mike, so we met at the dock, and we became friends and spent the year sailing and racing together. In 2012 we started dating officially. Since then we had been sailing and skiing and spending as much time together as possible!

How did he propose: We were in Florida for a distance sailboat race, the Everglades Challenge. Due to a last minute injury (cut my ring finger, of all fingers, pretty badly during the boat setup the day before the race), we had to drop out. So we went on to vacation at the finish in Key Largo. After a morning of kayaking, Mike asked me if I wanted to go check out a boat that had just finished the race over on the beach by our hotel. As we walked over, he said, "lets go get some pictures at the end of the dock since we never get any pics" (which is true haha). We walked out to the end of the dock and he asked our friend Todd to take some photos, after a few normal pics, he said "ok one more pose", and he dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. All our fellow competitors were on the beach, as well as all our family who had come down to watch us race (or so I thought).

What do you love about each other: I love that Mike is so passionate about what he loves and driven to take on new challenges/adventures. He is also someone that can calm me down in an instant because he's so level-headed and such a jokester.

Quote from Mike when I asked about what he loves about me: "Your fiesty-ness and ambition" We collectively love that we have true best friends in each other. No matter what sailing/skiing/life adventure lies before us, we'll embark on it together.

Interests/hobbies you enjoy doing together: Sailing/racing, Skiing, kayaking/paddleboarding

Describe the overall story for your wedding: We want the story for our wedding to be centered around our love of the water and entertaining. This was the idea behind our ceremony on the Sky Terrace overlooking the Gulf. Our cocktail hour on the Belleair terrace was something to tie in our love of the outdoors.

Inspiration for your wedding location and wedding day outfits: We love the Clearwater/St. Pete area, and the idea that you have bodies of water on both sides of the land. We wanted a location where we could take in the beautiful views of the Gulf. We also wanted to get married in a place where we felt like we could be on vacation and Florida has always been a winter escape for us from Ohio where we could sail and enjoy some time in the sun. Wedding day outfits are similarly inspired by us wanting to feel like we are on vacation.

We completely enjoyed being a part of Tiffany & Mike’s wedding day! Their families were so excited to be there to celebrate the tow of them… btw - sweetest family ever!
Their tropical, laid back and elegant day was such a breeze. We loved deign them both enjoy their day and it was all simply perfectly beautiful in emery way. We wish Tiffany & Mike ALL the goodness in the world! Congratulations!

Stephanie + Brian Step Into The Limelight | Hotel Zamora | St. Petersburg, FL

Stephanie and Brian have been together for about 8 years. The first time they met, was through a mutual friend on a night when they went out to have a drink. Stephenies mentioned to me that Brian has helped her and has supported her so much through all the ups and downs and together they make life so much better.

During their wedding process and because of the weird times that we have all experienced, this beautiful couple has had to reschedule their wedding date 3 times! But the day was finally here and it was truly such a sweet and beautiful moment for the two. Super close friends and family joined Stephanie and Brian on the Sundeck at Hotel Zamora to say their I do’s. It was such a gorgeous day over all and this made way for all the pretty smiles and laughter during the ceremony. It was the sweetest thing to witness!!

After the ceremony, everyone was invited all the way up to the roof top for a romantic and dreamy rooftop reception. The first dance between Stephanie and Brian was one of our favorite moments. The two seemed to be so at peace in each other’s arms and so happy to be together. Congratulations to the newly weds!!!

Lauren + Jordan Step Into The Limelight | Sirata Beach Resort | St. Petersburg, FL

Lauren and Jordan’s love story began at put-put in 2017. It continued when Jordan proposed a few years later, on top of an amazing waterfall in Yosemite. That’s no surprise since their favorite thing about each other is how adventurous they are. Their next adventure was going to be their honeymoon in Hawaii, which is where they got the inspiration for their wedding. We couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather for their ceremony on the beach, surrounded by beautiful tropical colors and flowers. And their flower girl and sweet pup Misty stole the show! We had so much fun with them and their families and friends. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Mieras!!
