Rebekah + Chris Step Into The Limelight | Hyatt Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa | Clearwater Beach, FL

Rebekah & Chris met 8 years ago through mutual friends and they hit it off!

First becoming the best of friends, they both never thought anything would happen outside the friend stage. Little did they know they would start falling for each other.

As time went on both these two “fell in love, and he fell in love with my children” as Rebekah says.

Chris made sure that Rebekah’s children Seth and Shannon took part when Chris proposed. Being that the one thing they’ve all been wanting, is to be one big family.

Being best friends has definitely carried into their relationship as they continue to laugh together just as they did when they first met. Their wedding was a perfect example of what “being in love with your best friend” looks like!

Rebekah & Chris love watching football, hockey and golf. They also love to go boating and to be outdoors and we LOVED meeting them both! They know how to have fun and their wedding day was a “good time”. Once they saw each other it was clear to us that they adore each other… we could not be happier for Rebekah & Chris and we wish ALL the good in world for this stunning couple. Cheers!

Maddie + Alex Step Into The Limelight | Yacht Starship IV | St. Petersburg, FL

A little bit of sparkle, a little bit of pineapples!

Madeleine and Alex met at the University of Arizona Law School, Fall 2015. Madeleine was taking graduation pictures in a national park near where they lived inTucson,AZ (Saguaro National Park). They were out in this beautiful field of yellow flowers & Alex said he wanted to take a few more pictures ... the rest is history (There’s pictures on their website that Alex’s roommate took!). Also, fun fact, Madeleine almost turned back around before they got to “the spot” because they saw a rattlesnake.Alex is a wildlife biologist & was very excited... snakes are Madeline’s #1 fear so she was petrified.

In their own words....

Alex: “I love how adventurous Maddie is. I love how driven she is to go get what she wants. I love how fun and silly she can be. Most of all, I love how she makes me better.”

Maddie: “Alex is one of the smartest and kindest people I know. I love his ambition and how he pushes me to try new things. He is my best friend, he makes me really happy, and he makes me want to be a better person.”

Together they like to play board games, watch movies, and they LOVE to travel. They also love dogs—they have a 2 year old Alaskan Klee Kai named Bandit.

Their wedding day was wedding plan #3!!! Their original wedding/location was in Tucson, Arizona in a beautiful historic hotel/garden in the desert. Then, COVID happened and Madeleine'’s parents moved to Florida. With neither her parents, nor them living in AZ, it didn’t make sense to have the wedding in Arizona anymore... especially because Alex’s family also lives in Florida.

SO, they went with the Yacht Starship because (1) They love boats and (2) They wanted something totally different than what they were doing before. A clean slate.☺ So instead of desert garden, they did an upscale tropical glam vibe.A little bit of sparkle, a little bit of pineapples.

Madeleine actually found her dress in 2011... can you believe that! She saw it in a magazine when she was 18 and said “that’s my wedding dress!” Amazingly enough, her bridal salon (Schaffers in Phoenix,AZ) was able to get a hold of it out of the Lazaro vault in NewYork. As soon as she tried it on, she knew it was the one. Also, she saw it the day she tried it on a in a random episode of “Say Yes to the Dress!” that was on that night... it’s a small world. Madeleine’sMadeleine bracelet is her mother’s, it was a wedding gift to her. It was the first gift her dad got her mom after they were married. ALSO, the diamond in her wedding ring is actually her mom’s too. 33 years of good marriage karma :) Her pearls belong to her grandmother.

Mostly, Madeline and Alex were really excited to be surrounded by the people they love most in the world as they got married. Madeleine also loves her dress (obviously) and the pineapple theme carried through the guys’ socks and cufflinks all the way to the centerpieces! Everyone at the wedding felt happy, special, loved, and celebratory!

Morgan + Ed Step Into The Limelight | Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort And Spa | Clearwater Beach, FL

Get to know Morgan & Ed:

How/when did you meet each other:: We actually met at a party when I was visiting a friend at Ed’s university. We hit it off, but thought we would never see each other again because we were going to different schools. Turns out that 2 years later, Ed moved closer to my hometown of Kansas City and that same friend I was visiting invited us both to a party again. And that time Ed was very quick to get my number and ask me on a date! Also, that mutual friend is our officiant

How did he propose:: He proposed on my family vacation in July 2019 in Fort Lauderdale. My sister was taking pictures of us by the water before we went to our dinner reservations which my family claimed was to celebrate my sister and dad’s birthdays that are in July. Ed got down on his knee right there on the beach and my sister got all my surprised reactions on camera.

What do you love about each other:: I love that Ed is kind to everyone he meets and he is very funny. He’s very approachable and smiles often which is my favorite sight to see! When I asked him to answer the question, he said “I love how cool you are, we’re always on the same page” and then stated “I’m sorry, but it’s too hard to just pick one thing”

Interests/hobbies you enjoy doing together:: We moved to Florida because the warm weather allows us to be outside year round and we both are happiest by the water. We enjoy going to the beach, kayaking, and riding our bikes. Also, we really enjoy drinking a nice cold beer and watching football games together!

We LOVED being a part of Morgan & Ed’s day! Their wedding day had a very relaxed and laid back feel, they all truly embraced each moment and made sure to enjoy each event of the day.
Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort And Spa was the perfect setting for Morgan & Ed to say their I Do’s on the Sky Terrace surrounded by their family and closest friends followed by a walk to the beach with their bridal party for some amazing photos. The Clearwater Beach skies gave us “all the drama” for Morgan & Ed’s sunset session and we danced the night away at their reception in the Belleair Room.
We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate such a sweet couple! We wish you both ALL the best life can bring. Cheers!

Jaclyn + Matt Step Into The Limelight | Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa | Clearwater Beach, FL

What an incredible celebration we had with Jaclyn and Matt!

Jaclyn and Matt met in vet school at Oklahoma State University through mutual friends. Jaclyn was finishing up her first year, and Matt was finishing up his third year at the time. Matt proposed while they were in Florida for Christmas in 2019. Jaclyn recently joined Matt in Sioux City, Iowa where they are practicing small animal medicine together {from http://jaclynandmatthew.minted.us}

They both share a love for animals, adventure, the outdoors and they both have a goofy sense of humor and love to make each other laugh. They enjoy boating, fishing and working on their house together.

Jaclyn grew up in Florida and is a true Florida girl at heart. She loves everything about the beach so it was fitting to have a ceremony right on the sand and a lovely outdoor venue. The outfits were simple yet elegant. The girls chose their own dresses to make sure everyone felt like their best self and beautiful on the big day.

Hilton Clearwater Beach was the perfect setting to tie up their beach theme wedding - which by the way, we LOVED the driftwood ceremony arch created by the father of bride Bill, it made it all come together beautifully! Clearwater Beach never disappoints when it comes to blue skies and sandy feet, not to mention the ever-so-gorgeous sunsets. Jaclyn & Matt's special day was full of family, friends and love and it was an honor to capture these special moments.

Congratulations to Jaclyn & Matt!
