HEATHER AND STEVE FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | HYATT CLEARWATER BEACH | CLEARWATER, FL

Heather and Steve were such a wonderful couple to work with... from the time I first spoke to Heather to the wedding day, such a sweet, easy going couple with a beautiful family that is now 8.  They united their 6 children by including them in a sand ceremony that allowed every one to pour their sand into one beautiful vase, this signifies the joining of the family as well as the union of the bride and groom.  Heather and Steve chose to do a first look so that we would be able to get some beautiful shots of the family before going on to see everyone at the ceremony.  The ceremony was on the beach where it threatened to rain, even a few rain drops fell right before the ceremony but it held out and we were able to have the perfect ceremony followed by pictures on the beach.  Reception was just amazing on the sky terrace over looking the ocean, with pops of pink and other colors in the flowers, white linens, string lights above and an amazingly beautiful sunset... it made for a perfect FL evening.
Congratulations Heather and Steve.  I am so honored and excited that I was able to capture your beautiful day for you!

NUHA AND LAYTH FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | DOWNTOWN TAMPA HILTON | TAMPA FL,

We met up with Nuha and Layth on a beautiful Sunday afternoon to start their celebration of marriage at the downtown Hilton. The couple although they said they were anxious stayed calm and so friendly to all as they prepared for their first look. We took these two down a strip of the hotel that remained private to keep the cool air flowing on this hot day.  There was so much happiness and kindness shared between these two it was contagious! They kept the beginning more intimate with their first look and a few photos with their immediate family, but they couldn't wait to get the celebration started. The reception beamed with white and crystal giving it a look of class and light! Nuha and Layth entered into their beautiful reception in song and dance. Following, was the placement of rings from the right hand to the left which signified their marriage. Friends and family celebrated into the night for Nuha and Layth with great food, a belly dancer and great laughter. You could truly see the excitement everyone had for this wonderful couple! We would like to congratulate Nuha and Layth on many more wonderful years of marriage!

MELINEA AND JACOB FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | THE FLORIDA AQUARIUM | TAMPA, FL

Melinea and Jacob had a lovely wedding day at the Florida Aquarium in downtown Tampa. These two met through mutual friends when she was visiting home during her college years down in Tampa. He was stationed there at Eglin AFB. She didn't really think much of it...literally didn't think she'd ever see him again. Eventually they reconnected again via messages & he came to visit her in Tampa for her birthday. After that, and Melinea turning him down a couple of time, it became a long distance relationship since he kept getting moved by the Air Force and she moved home. Finally he was stationed in Northern California and Melinea eventually moved here after a few years. They had a roller coaster relationship with moves across the country and dealing with a deployment but it's also been a wonderful adventure together, that they now have made a forever adventure! Melinea's favorite part of the wedding day was walking down the aisle since all the wedding planning was officially over and all of the special people in their lives were there to celebrate their love as she said it's hard to get together when both sides of the family are so far apart (Melinea from Florida, Jacob from Wisconsin, and they now both live in California ). Also, the food was pretty delicious! When asked what they like most about each other, Melinea said, "I like his 'in the moment' mentality since I'm quite the planner. He reminds me to enjoy the 'now' moments. Also, I love trying new things so his sense of adventure keeps life fun and exciting." And what Jacob loves most about Melinea is, "I enjoy being able to share experiences with her, every time I see something new or exciting that I want to do, I always think 'I wish Melinea was here to do this with me.' I also like that she is constantly pushing me to be better than I currently am, even if I don't always agree with her reasoning."  It was great to work with this sweet couple, and congrats to the newlyweds!! :)

STEPHANIE AND NIK FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | INNISBROOK, A SALAMANDER GOLF AND SPA RESORT

Stephanie and Nik's wedding day was elegant and colorful, and both traditional and modern at the same time!  The couple chose to honor their marriage with a traditional wedding ceremony at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Tarpon Springs!  The Greek wedding ceremony is a beautiful thing to witness.  The most noticeable difference is that the bride and groom are silent during the service and do not exchange vows with each other.  Instead they are joined together through the prayers of the priest and by witness of the congregation before God through meaningful and symbolic traditions.  The most beautiful elements are when the bride and groom have crowns placed on their heads to symbolize the blessings on the new couple and when the bride and groom engage in a procession around the altar lead by the priest while hymns are being sung.   The ceremony closes with a first kiss and the bride and groom are sent on their way for a happy and blessed life!  Stephanie and Nik's ceremony had all the tradition, but also had a few really sweet moments between the couple.  Since they do not speak during the ceremony, the couple exchanged a few sweet glances that seemed to let each other know that they were so happy to be there and to be getting married!  I loved capturing these sweet moments!  Once married that newlyweds departed down the stairs of the church to rose petals being tossed by their guests and then they were off to celebrate!  Once we arrived to Innisbrook we had just a few minutes to work with the last bit of day light and the beautiful sun light!  I love how these moments turned out for this awesome couple!  Stephanie and Nik wanted their reception to be colorful, bold and modern and the hall at Innisbrook was magical!  Everywhere I looked there were flowers, candles, and drapery in stunning tones of purple, orange, and pink and so many gold accents and candles that it felt like the whole room was glowing!  This amazing couple was wonderful to work with for both their engagement session and wedding day!  Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Karamountzos!

KATIE AND GAVIN FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | DON CESAR | ST. PETERSBURG, FL |

We met up with Katie and Gavin at the venue the two were married ten years prior. Not only did we meet up with them but also got to meet and photograph three handsome boys that were some of the biggest blessings to these two from this marriage. They wanted to recreate a little bit of their wedding ten years ago with splashes of pink, old invitations and combine it with their new style adding the three children in for this beautiful day. Katie made her own cake and they finished the evening with an intimate dinner followed by cake and a quiet vow renewal. We enjoyed meeting this family, many well wishes for years to come!
