Alexis and Christian’s wedding day at the gorgeous Hyatt Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa was the perfect reflection of who they are—romantic, joyful, and completely devoted to one another and their beautiful family. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the excitement and love in the air.

Their story began back in 2021 when a Bumble match led to a sunset walk on Treasure Island Beach. Fast forward to their engagement—Christian proposed in that very same spot, with their daughter strapped to his chest and family and friends secretly watching nearby. It was the sweetest, most genuine start to the next chapter of their love story.

From the very first moment I met Christy and Frank on their wedding day, I could feel the warmth and love that radiates between them. Their story began online, followed by a first dinner date in March, and blossomed into a proposal on Thanksgiving—wrapped in layers of gift boxes until the final one revealed a ring. It was personal, sweet, and surrounded by family.

Their wedding at the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa was nothing short of magical. The couple chose Clearwater Beach because it holds a special place in their hearts—it was their first trip together and quickly became their favorite place. With an intimate gathering of family and close friends, their vision of an elegant, ocean-inspired celebration came to life. The “ocean blues with hints of bling” theme perfectly reflected their style—a vacation love paradise.

Some of the most unforgettable moments included their heartfelt first looks with loved ones, Christy becoming Mrs. Johnson surrounded by those dearest to her, and Frank’s daughter officiating their ceremony and singing their favorite song, Flaws by Calum Scott. In a powerful and symbolic gesture, the couple exchanged Viking swords to represent their strength and lifelong protection of one another—a tradition that made their day truly unique.

Shannon and Paul’s journey began in the most unexpected of places—Antigua, where they met as teenagers. What started as a chance meeting soon grew into a lasting bond. Years later, Paul proposed during the Christmas holiday, surrounded by the warmth of the season and those they loved most.

The couple chose to exchange vows at Christ the King Catholic Church, a stunning and sacred space that offered the perfect backdrop for their traditional Catholic ceremony. Following the ceremony, the celebration continued on the Sky Terrace of the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. With panoramic views of the water and the golden glow of the setting sun, the terrace provided an unforgettable setting for their reception. The couple selected the Grand Hyatt for its breathtaking waterfront views, and it did not disappoint. The location was nothing short of magical as day turned to night over Tampa Bay.
