Katie + Andrew Step Into The Limelight | The Rusty Pelican | Tampa, FL

Get to know Katie & Andrew…

How/when did you meet each other:: Andrew and I met in freshman year at the University of Florida. My dorm roommate and I were having a game night at my dorm . One of her friends, Joe (the best man), brought Andrew with him. We played a game called “werewolves” that showed Andrews bright and silly personality. Immediately I was interested, but Andrew was seeing someone else at the time. We had hung out many more times at mutual friend events. one day were were the only ones in the friend group, along with Monica (bridesmaid), who were 21. So naturally we went out together, just the three of us. By this point Andrew was single and Monica could sense our chemistry, so she helped set us up. A few months later, I made the big move and kissed him at midnight during a NYE party. The rest is history!

How did he propose:: After I graduated nursing school, Andrew and I Decided to take a road trip to North Carolina between our birthdays. The plan was to go hiking along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville. At the very first hike of the very first day, after walking up a mile to the top of a hill, Andrew surprised me with his proposal while posing for pictures. I had no idea, it was very sweet. We spent the rest of the trip celebrating our engagement.

What do you love about each other:: Andrew is literally my best friend. We do everything together. We share similar interests, have a lot of mutual friends and love to go on adventures. The more I got to know him, the closer we grew. He always makes me laugh, is an amazing chef, passionate and extremely smart person.

Interests/hobbies you enjoy doing together:: We enjoy playing tennis, watching movies, cooking, going out with friends, competing hard core in board games/foosball.

Two best friends got married! We LOVED being a part of Katie & Andrew’ s special day 🥰 it was a calm, serene day filled with lots of LOVE. We really enjoyed seeing these two interact with each other and their loved ones, it was such a beautiful occasion and just being able to experience so much JOY was a treat.
We wish Katie & Andrew an amazing future as Mr. & Mrs. Cheers to a wonderful couple!

Rachel + Brandon Step Into The Limelight | Sandpearl Resort | Clearwater Beach, FL

Rachel and Brandon met on Valentine's Day in 2014. They were at Dixie Roadhouse, line dancing and Brandon bumped in to Rachel and said, "There should be a yee-haw" here. The sparks never stopped flying from that point forward. These two love traveling, concerts, and socializing together whenever possible and that translated into their wedding. This was a party for the century! From CO2 Cannons to Cold Sparklers, this wedding had it all. There were ice sculptures, a mosaic photo booth, and plenty of dancing. This was a bold, beautiful celebration that was 8 years in the making and Brandon and Rachel deserved it all. They were such a kind and loving pair and I would work with them again in a heartbeat. Best wishes to this wonderful couple!

They wanted a small and intimate wedding with close friends and family, laid back, personal and very classy! Tampa Club was the perfect setting for their vision to come to life! The classic creams, blush and gold were stunning and a gorgeous complement to the Tampa Club penthouse ballroom with the most beautiful views of the city of Tampa.

We so enjoyed being a part of Melissa & Kenji’s wedding day, we could feel the love and appreciation they have for everyone around them. Thank you having us and we wish you and the ones you loves ALL the best in the world.

Rachel + Benny Step Into The Limelight | Opal Sands Resort | Clearwater, FL

They drove up to CT for Christmas to surprise their family. Little did she know, Ben had something else planned. After everyone opened their presents Ben brought out a box and said “this is for everybody”. In the box was a cable to plug into the TV and a card saying “plug me in”. They plugged it in and a video started to play. It was a slideshow of all the pictures they took together in the past 5 years, and steps on falling in love. At the end was a picture of Ben holding a sign saying “will you marry me” and he was down on one knee in front of Rachel. WOWZA! All the feels!

They are both caring to one another, Rachel knows he would move mountains for her if she asked. They have each others backs through everything. Rachel also loves how goofy they can be with each other. They can be themselves 100% of the time. They bring out the best in each other. Ben always says that Rachel makes him a better man.

Rachel & Ben like going to the movies, they like to try new things, like going to a new restaurant or trying a new activity. They tried Top Golf and it was so much fun even thought neither of them are golfers. They also like to go to the beach with their dog Mort.

For their wedding they wanted to find a location that was simple but had a wow factor. With Opal Sands Resort, it was the view. It fit perfectly with what Rachel was going for. They didn't want to have a beach wedding but wanted that ocean as the backdrop. Opal Sands Resort was perfect for that. They wanted a simple and elegant feel, not too over the top with everything. Rachel wanted a simple dress, but added a belt to make it pop. With florals Rachel wanted to do very romantic and tasteful.

Rachel wanted to live in the moment and have gorgeous images to look back on… we just loved how they took in the day and allowed it to just flow naturally, it was intimate and purposeful with touches of class and so much LOVE to go around.

Rachel & Ben we wish you both ALL the best in life! Enjoy it all (together).

Adriana + Matthew Step Into The Limelight | Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club | Tampa, FL

What an amazing journey it has been with this lovely couple. We had the privilege to meet Adrianna and Matt earlier this year to do their engagement session in Lakeland. From the moment I met them, I knew right away just how fun and easy going they were. During our session, I felt a nice connection and the love between them was strong and so visible, it was a delight to capture. Time went by, and we met up with just Adrianna to photograph her in her bridal gown during a bridal session where we focused just on her portraits. She looked STUNNING and was so excited for the big day - we all were!

The wedding day was finally here! Adrianna got ready one last time at her parents home which was very near and dear to her. Once ready, Adrianna got into a a Rolls Royce and made her way to meet Matt at The Academy of the Holy Names which was Adrianna’s high school. There, they said their I-Do’s and were pronounced husband and wife.

The Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club opened up their doors to receive the newly weds and their family and friends. The reception ballroom was fully decorated with tall and low tables, floral arrangements made out of a verity of flowers, greenery and even grapes and a cake that was styled and made to match the linen on which it was placed on. It was truly such a great day full of funny and happy moments between the two and it was such an honor to be able to join them on such a marvelous day. Congratulations to Adrianna and Matt!!!
