A Day to Remember: Lauren & Connor’s Wedding at Lithia Acres

As a photographer, there are moments that stay with you long after the camera is put down, and Lauren and Connor’s wedding is one of those days I’ll cherish forever. Set at the gorgeous Lithia Acres, a serene barn venue tucked away on a quiet stretch of farmland in Tampa, the day was nothing short of magical. The weather cooperated perfectly with clear skies and just a soft breeze—the kind of day where everything felt right.

I had the privilege of capturing every moment alongside my talented associate, Alayna, and the incredible videographer, Earl. Together, we were able to preserve the laughter, the love, and the emotions of a day that was as beautiful as the couple themselves.

Lauren and Connor are starting more than just a life together. In March, they’ll embark on a new chapter, heading off to Marine boot camp together. So when I asked about their honeymoon plans, they gave me a simple, but remarkable answer: “Our honeymoon is going to be Marine boot camp!” I couldn’t help but smile. Their commitment to each other, and to this next adventure, is the kind of love story you don’t often get to witness.

The ceremony was emotional—Lauren, in her stunning vintage wedding dress, walked down the aisle as the soft, golden light bathed the space. The vows they exchanged were deeply personal, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It was the kind of moment that reminded everyone of the power of love and the promise of forever.

After the ceremony, we took some time for portraits by the farmhouse, which added a rustic charm to their photos. The reception that followed was full of joy, with heartfelt speeches, a video message from Lauren’s brother stationed in Japan, and plenty of dancing to keep everyone smiling. A cozy bonfire lit up the night, bringing warmth as the celebration stretched into the evening.

As the night ended with sparklers and a limo ride, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly grateful for being part of such a beautiful day. Lauren and Connor’s love is inspiring—not just for the commitment they’ve made to each other, but for the brave journey they’re about to take together.
