Their love blossomed quickly, and when life threw an unexpected challenge their way a hospital stay for an emergency appendectomy Ernest knew he couldn’t wait for the “perfect” moment to ask Lee Anne to spend forever with him. He proposed the moment he came home, a testament to the truth that life is too short to wait for the right time.

What makes their relationship so beautiful is the deep understanding and laughter they share. They communicate effortlessly, and there’s no one else they’d rather be with whether they’re cheering for their favorite baseball teams, watching Formula 1 races, enjoying quiet evenings at cigar bars, or losing themselves in painting and movies. Their bond is built on trust, joy, and a shared passion for the little things in life.

On their wedding day, the air was filled with the kind of love that only comes from two people who truly understand each other. I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Lindsey and Davis’s engagement session at Redington Shores Beach, and what an experience it was! While the weather was a little on the chilly and windy side, it turned out to be the perfect setting for their photos. The gusts of wind made the waves come alive, creating a dramatic and beautiful backdrop for their shoot.

What I loved most was how the elements of the day helped us all stay present in the moment. As the wind tousled their hair and the waves crashed in the background, Lindsey and Davis’s chemistry really shone through. From the moment Tanya and Louis shared their story with me, I knew their wedding at Cross Creek Ranch would be unforgettable. Tanya and Louis met on Easter Sunday 2020, during the height of the pandemic, introduced by a mutual friend. Their connection blossomed, leading to a breathtaking proposal on the Sorrento Coast during a two-week Italian adventure in August 2023. Louis’ thoughtful gesture of proposing amidst Italy’s stunning vistas set the tone for a love story that would inspire their wedding day.

Tanya and Louis’ wedding was a celebration of love’s triumph against all odds—a story of true love prevailing despite obstacles and second chances at happiness. Cross Creek Ranch provided the perfect backdrop for their enchanted day, blending elements of mystery, elegance, and a nod to the timeless romance of the Twilight series. Tanya and Louis added their personal touches, incorporating elements from their shared love of fine dining, movies, and even the WWE universe—Roman Reigns fans, rejoice!
