Oana and Mathew’s wedding day was nothing short of a fairytale winter escape, perfectly encapsulating their dream of glam and timeless elegance. It was a true honor to be part of such a special celebration and to capture their love story through my lens.

Oana and Mathew’s story began in the most serendipitous way—on a dating app. Mathew, visiting New Hampshire from Florida, decided to see what connections he could make, and fate brought Oana into his life. She initiated the conversation, and from that moment, their love story began. Fast forward to a romantic birthday proposal, and here we were, witnessing the culmination of their beautiful journey.

The ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church was nothing short of breathtaking. The grandeur of the church was the perfect backdrop for Oana’s walk down the aisle. Mathew had waited patiently to see her for the first time in her wedding dress, and the moment their eyes met, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. The couple exchanged heartfelt, handwritten vows, a testament to the deep bond they share—a bond built on kindness, passion, and the joy they bring to each other’s lives.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued at The Vault, a venue that perfectly captured their vision of old-world glamour. A Picture-Perfect Setting

As I set up my gear, the soft glow of the setting sun began to bathe the sky in hues of orange, pink, and lavender. St. Pete Beach has always been one of my favorite locations to photograph, but on this day, it was simply mesmerizing. The sand, the sea, and the sky all seemed to come together to create the most incredible canvas for Amanda and Brett’s love story.

The Tradewinds Resort, with its stunning beachfront view and lush greenery, provided the perfect venue for this sweet couple. There’s something about the atmosphere here that sets the tone for a relaxed yet elegant celebration. Every detail, from the delicate florals to the carefully designed ceremony setup, perfectly reflected Amanda and Brett’s vision for their day.

A Love Story in the Details

As a photographer, I thrive on the small moments—the subtle glances, the quiet exchanges, the little touches that speak volumes. Amanda and Brett’s wedding was filled with these moments, and I made sure to capture every one of them. Whether it was Brett’s nervous excitement as he awaited his bride, or Amanda’s radiant smile as she walked down the aisle, there was a palpable energy in the air.

One of my favorite moments of the day was during their first look. The sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, and as Amanda approached Brett, the golden light illuminated the scene. It felt like time stood still for a few seconds, just long enough for them to soak in the moment before they exchanged vows.

Of course, we couldn’t miss the chance to capture some portraits during the golden hour. As the sun dipped lower, I guided Amanda and Brett down to the water’s edge for some intimate portraits that truly showcased the beauty of the setting. The soft, golden light wrapped around them, creating a romantic atmosphere that only St. Pete Beach can provide. With every click of the shutter, I could feel the love they shared, and I was honored to be able to document it.
