Heidi + Tom Step Into The Limelight | Opal Sands Resort | Clearwater Beach, FL

Sweet words from the bride Heidi:

A Cinco De Mayo to remember!

Tom and I met at a Mortgage Professionals Golf Tournament on Cinco De Mayo. I invited Tom with the intention of networking and hoping to build a business relationship. I ended up with the love of my life and a love story I will never forget.

About a month before the tournament I met Jolie, who is a realtor in Tom’s office. We had recently worked together on a deal and originally I had asked her to attend the tournament. She said she wasn’t much of a golfer and suggested that I ask a friend in her office instead. Little did I know that Jolie was playing matchmaker and had told Tom she thought we'd hit it off. We’d both been saying the same thing “there’s no good guys/girls left”.

I almost didn't call him not wanting to spend 18 holes with a stranger. The thought of small talk for an entire day sounded miserable but this was a new job and my new boss was going to be there. I was supposed to bring someone relevant to our industry so I worked up my courage and ended up calling him a few days before the event and left a voicemail. Funny that he still has it saved to this day.

May 5th rolled around and Tom and became fast friends. The conversation was easy and immediately I felt at ease with him. By the third hole we were swapping match.com date stories and by the 18th hole we were planning our next adventure. It may have taken us all of 3 weeks to figure out we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together and we could not be more happy to share in this special day with all of you.

The Proposal!

I popped the question at the Don CeSar Resort on St. Pete Beach! It was our birthday weekend and I surprised Heidi the morning of our trip that I switched our room from Postcard Inn to the Don because it was her big 3-5 bday! I set up a couples massage that day for us to set the tone and get relaxed. After an amazing couples massage and lunch/pool day/drinks (but not too many!)...we got ready for what she thought was a dinner down the street. Instead, I told her we should go down to the pool for a drink and then take a stroll on the beach before dinner. Little did she know, I was just delaying her to drop on one knee on the beach.

Behind the scenes I had lots of help from her sister/Matron of Honor- Holli on coordinating our families to get rooms down there and also to be there for the surprise as well. Holli used her Ninja-like moves to be invisible down on the beach to be able to take all the pictures of the surprise proposal. After Heidi said YES, we went up to the Don restaurant where our families were there to Surprise her.

What a celebration it was! Between the best day of my life to celebrating both of our birthday's, it's a day that we both will never forget!

And let me tell you! The love these two posses for each other is a beautiful sight to see!

From the First Look to Tom’s remarkable Karaoke performance during their reception. They could not stop starring at each other! We LOVED being there to witness each moment unfold. Each detail was impeccably done and LOVE was all around. Fun they had! Tom should be an entertainer! He had that room on fire with excitement and Heidi’s sweetness is just what Tom needs… Thank you for having us Tom & Heidi, we wish you ALL the best.

Clara + Abraham Step Into The Limelight | Powel Crosley Estate | Sarasota, FL

Clara and Abe met in Kindergarten where they played and picked on one another. During the school year Abe’s mother had a parent teacher conference where it was brought up that there was a little girl that he always played with. Their teacher said to Abe’s mother “I wouldn’t be surprised if these two get married one day”… and here we are!

Even though they did meet in Kindergarten, Abe and Clara didn’t date while in school. They both liked each other but didn’t have the courage to say it to one another. It wasn’t until four years after high school that they started talking and eventually dating.

Abe proposed to Clara at midnight on New Years Eve, she said yes, and they began the 2018 New Year even more in love as a newly engaged couple! They love spending time together watching movies, exercising, cooking, hiking, and making each other laugh.

During Clara and Abe’s wedding their family surrounded them with so much positivity, love, and light. You could feel the absolute joy and happiness in the room. I am so genuinely happy for this couple and their family and I am so lucky to have witnessed their love for one another.

Congratulations Clara + Abe on your greatest adventure and living #HappilyEverHerrera!

Lisa + Ryan Step Into The Limelight | Downtown Tampa, FL

We enjoyed a gorgeous evening in downtown Tampa with perfect weather and the most genuine, humble, down-to-earth, sweet and fun couple! Truly a delight working together to create these portraits.

Lisa is a Tampa native and Ryan hails from Michigan. They have been dating seven years and Ryan proposed on Christmas this past year. Lisa is an attorney and Ryan works out in the oil fields. Although they both have very intense careers that they are dedicated to, they both LOVE vacationing together! They especially enjoy tropical cruises - so it was only fitting to capture the sunset during their session! Congratulations Lisa and Ryan we cannot wait for your wedding this fall!

Elizabeth + Tobias Step Into The Limelight | Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach | Clearwater Beach, FL

What an amazing day we had with Elizabeth and Tobias on this beautiful February day at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach. The day started with both getting ready to see each other before the ceremony. This first look was very important to them and they could not wait to see each other. First look was the sweetest with smiles and hugs during this special moment. The ceremony was outdoors on a rather modern lawn beautifully decorated with large, white flowers arrangements, white lawn chairs with pink, blush and gray strings on them and a gorgeous backdrop of the beach. They said their I-Do’s and it was off to their reception dinner.

The reception dinner was nothing short of spectacular. Tables were decorated with floral center pieces. Wine openers and stoppers for their guests, sparkly glittered silver chargers and pink and blush colored napkins.

It was truly a great wedding day for Elizabeth and Tobias. Congratulations to the newlyweds!!!

Julianne + Eric Step Into The Limelight | Powel Crosley Estate | Sarasota, FL

Eric and Julianne met at work in June of 2015 and got engaged on November 14, 2017 in Napa, California. While Julianne believed the trip to Napa to be for Eric's 30th birthday - she was surprised to find that the week-long trip would be to celebrate their engagement.

Eric proposed to Julianne on her parent's wedding anniversary at Crocker and Starr Vineyard. Pam Starr allowed them to visit her private property and enjoy a small Chapel that family had utilized for Wedding Ceremony's in the past.

Fast forward to their wedding day in February of 2019, the two had their wedding day at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota. They had always wanted somewhere private and secluded so they could enjoy the company without any interruptions and the Crosley was exactly that!

Their beautiful wedding decor consisted of red floral and white floral, gold chairs and white linens. Julianna made signs along with the wedding favor tags that were placed on all the tables for guests to enjoy.

What a beautiful day it was with this gorgeous couple. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
