Ariel + Barath Step Into The Limelight | Waldorf Astoria Orlando | Orlando, FL

Ariel + Barath first met each other while working at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. Barath was the night manager and Ariel was a front desk agent. Immediately after meeting, they felt like they were drawn to each other. It enabled them to develop a close friendship and eventually they fell madly in love.

Barath proposed to Ariel by tricking her into thinking they were going to an Art Basal Exhibition in Orlando, Florida. He told her one of his good friends was in town and would meet us at the pool of the Waldorf Astoria. Barath led Ariel down to the cabana’s on the pool deck and signaled for her to follow him into one of the cabanas. When Ariel entered, she was amazed that the cabana was extensively decorated with hydrangea flowers, candles, champagne, Christmas lights, and photos of their friends and family. As Barath got down on one knee, Ariel noticed her family enter the cabana, in the most incredible proposal ever!

Ariel + Barath’s wedding day was magical as they became husband and wife in a romantic wedding ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria. Their altar was one of a kind with beach wood pillars and flowers accents holding up the most important detail of the ceremony, the huppah. The huppah was very important to Ariel because it is her late fathers Tallis…and with it at the altar, she knew her father would be there with her in spirit.

Ariel + Baraths wedding reception had top notch hospitality as each table had personal butlers waiting for them upon the their guests arrival. It was so heartwarming to watching Ariel + Barath together with their family. Some guests came as far as 10,000 miles away to spend this very special moment with them!

Congratulations on your happily ever after Ariel + Barath and may you continue to fall madly in love with each other every day!

Carol Ann + Arnie Step Into The Limelight | St. Raphael's Catholic Church + The Birchwood | St. Petersburg, FL

What an amazing time we had with Carol Ann and Arnie here in the city of St. Pete. Our day started out at St. Raphels Catholic Church where the beautiful Ann and handsome Arnie got ready for their big day. Carol Ann wore a stunning dress with laced train and sleeves while Arnie wore a classic black suit with a red bow tie. The catholic ceremony was classic and tradition and had the sweetest moment between the two. They could not stop smiling at each other! Once they said their I-Do’s, the newly wed and all their guests had an elegant and timeless reception dinner at The Birchwood. The reception room was filled with red and white roses with black linens that added just the right amount of contrast. The cake and sweetheart table were also full of natural floral and different sized candles.

Carol Ann and Arnie’s love story began about 2 years ago when they fist met each other at a Catholic Matching website. Their seemlier interests and faith in the Lord brought them close and while on a Royal Caribbean cruise on New Years, Arnie proposed. A couple months later,  The Birchwood, which was where they first dined together, would be the perfect place to celebrate their love towards each other.

Very happy for this wonderful and sweet couple. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs!

Ashley + Dennis Step Into The Limelight | Kapok Special Events Center | Clearwater, FL

Ashley + Dennis first met at one of their most favorite hang out spots, the beach. Early in their relationship Ashley learned that Dennis decided to enlist in the military. Knowing that he was eventually going to have to leave for training, Ashley tentatively guarded her heart. Both Ashley + Dennis were determined to give the relationship a chance enjoying the time that they had left together before his enlistment date. During this time they fell in love.

When Dennis’ enlistment ceremony came around he had decided that he couldn’t live without Ashley. At the ceremony and after he pledged his life to his country, he pledged his love for Ashley. He asked for her hand in marriage and for her to be his wife, Ashley excitedly accepted.

Dennis left for basic military training, while she graciously stood by and supported him. In May, Ashley was able to attend Dennis’ graduation. This was the last day before their wedding day that they were able to see each other! On their wedding day, it was incredibly special being able to watch Ashley walk down the aisle to meet Dennis. She couldn’t take her eyes off of him as she took his hands into hers at the alter. You could feel the happiness surround them as they spoke their vows to one another.

Ashley + Dennis’ wedding day was more than gathering their loved ones together for a day of wedded bliss. It was also send off from both of their families and friends, spending quality time together before they leave to start down their new path as a military family. They are moving to Hawaii!

Congratulations on your marriage Ashley + Dennis, we wish you nothing but the best!

Paula + David Step Into The Limelight | Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort And Spa | Clearwater Beach, FL

David and Paula met each other in August 2012 through her co-worker when they both worked at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL) in Tallahassee, FL. He was looking for a woman to play on his co-ed soccer team and her co-worker suggested asking her knowing that she had played through high school. Paula had seen and noticed him around the facility but their research groups never interacted so they hadn’t spoken before. When he asked she jumped at the opportunity to play soccer again, but better yet, to get to meet and know David better.

They played soccer together and became good friends, and started officially dating in Spring 2013. They almost didn’t date because Paula was supposed to be moving from Tallahassee to Nashville for graduate school that summer { sweet fate! }.

David and Paula ran the Sept. 09, 2017 Savage Race (obstacle race) in Kennedyville, MD with a couple of friends. After the race they all went back to David’s Jeep to change into clean clothes. While they were changing he got down on one knee and proposed!

We LOVE Paula & David, their love for each other is so sweet! The way they look at each other and really listen to each other’s needs, spoke to us. We spent the day with them on their wedding day and we felt at home… they are both fun and love to live in the moment. Every little part of their day was special and memorable. I {Dafne} had to opportunity to speak with Robert { the groom’s dad and officiant } and he was so emotional, given the opportunity to officiate Paula & David’s marriage… what a privilege for a father! So thoughtful. Robert’s heart was bursting with joy. It was beautiful to watch as they incorporated an Irish/Celtic ceremony called Handfasting as they both have Irish roots in their families.

One of my favorite things in life are sunsets! You cannot beat the Clearwater Beach, Florida sunset! It was perfect in every way, the colors, the warmth…
The reception was loads of fun, with a traditional Philippine Tinikling dance, this! It was intense, the belly laughs were serious! We had a wonderful time and the guests LOVED the challenge.

Thank you Paula & David for having us, we will remember you two for always. Enjoy your new adventures together. Congratulations!

Katelyn + Jordan Step Into The Limelight | Town Manor on the Lake | Auburndale, FL

a special story written by the bride and groom…

The start of our journey:

“Jordan and I knew of each other back in high school but we did not share any classes and we never attempted to talk to each other. A few years after graduating high school, we met up with mutual friends at a lounge near the University of South Florida. After that evening, Jordan reached out to me through Facebook. We immediately hit it off and went on our first date shortly there after.

The Proposal:

In July 2017, we went to Hawaii as part of Jordan's family reunion and to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. This was the first time Jordan and I had ever been to Hawaii. Jordan's grandmother was from Hawaii and he has deep ties to his family with much love for these islands.

On July 23, 2017 we were driving up the side of a mountain to reach the Mauna Kea summit. We drove up this mountain with his parents who had rented a Jeep. We had little warning that the temperature at the peak would be 25 degrees so we were unprepared and ended up freezing in our shorts and thin long sleeves. However, the view from the summit is something we will never forget and it was worth the frost bite haha.

On our way back down from the summit, we stopped on the side of the dirt road to take a picture with this gorgeous back drop. The clouds looked like we could walk on them since they were level with the edge of the cliff. As his mom was taking the picture, he said to me "You know I love you, right?". When I turned towards him, he was down on one knee with this beautiful ring and asked "Will you marry me?". I was definitely caught off guard but, of course, I said yes. I can not even describe the emotions that were running through us that moment. That will be one of the most memorable days of our lives and I am sure it will not be our last as we continue to build our lives together.”

How amazing is that?

Katelyn & Jordan beamed LOVE on their wedding day, they tied the knot at the gorgeous and charming Town Manor on the Lake which was the perfect setting for their intimate ceremony and fun-filled reception the entire venue felt like home.
Their families and friends enjoyed a gorgeous evening during the First Dances on the patio { so romantic… } A Town Manor tradition is for the bride and groom to sign a frame during the reception, making it all so official and special.

The sunset portion { always my favorite! } was so elegant and lake Juliana made it all feel so enchanting.
We loved being able to capture this couple, we could not have asked for anything more perfect.
We wish Katelyn & Jordan ALL good things in life… Cheers to many more adventures!
