Ashley + Dennis Step Into The Limelight | Kapok Special Events Center | Clearwater, FL

Ashley + Dennis first met at one of their most favorite hang out spots, the beach. Early in their relationship Ashley learned that Dennis decided to enlist in the military. Knowing that he was eventually going to have to leave for training, Ashley tentatively guarded her heart. Both Ashley + Dennis were determined to give the relationship a chance enjoying the time that they had left together before his enlistment date. During this time they fell in love.

When Dennis’ enlistment ceremony came around he had decided that he couldn’t live without Ashley. At the ceremony and after he pledged his life to his country, he pledged his love for Ashley. He asked for her hand in marriage and for her to be his wife, Ashley excitedly accepted.

Dennis left for basic military training, while she graciously stood by and supported him. In May, Ashley was able to attend Dennis’ graduation. This was the last day before their wedding day that they were able to see each other! On their wedding day, it was incredibly special being able to watch Ashley walk down the aisle to meet Dennis. She couldn’t take her eyes off of him as she took his hands into hers at the alter. You could feel the happiness surround them as they spoke their vows to one another.

Ashley + Dennis’ wedding day was more than gathering their loved ones together for a day of wedded bliss. It was also send off from both of their families and friends, spending quality time together before they leave to start down their new path as a military family. They are moving to Hawaii!

Congratulations on your marriage Ashley + Dennis, we wish you nothing but the best!

Paula + David Step Into The Limelight | Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort And Spa | Clearwater Beach, FL

David and Paula met each other in August 2012 through her co-worker when they both worked at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL) in Tallahassee, FL. He was looking for a woman to play on his co-ed soccer team and her co-worker suggested asking her knowing that she had played through high school. Paula had seen and noticed him around the facility but their research groups never interacted so they hadn’t spoken before. When he asked she jumped at the opportunity to play soccer again, but better yet, to get to meet and know David better.

They played soccer together and became good friends, and started officially dating in Spring 2013. They almost didn’t date because Paula was supposed to be moving from Tallahassee to Nashville for graduate school that summer { sweet fate! }.

David and Paula ran the Sept. 09, 2017 Savage Race (obstacle race) in Kennedyville, MD with a couple of friends. After the race they all went back to David’s Jeep to change into clean clothes. While they were changing he got down on one knee and proposed!

We LOVE Paula & David, their love for each other is so sweet! The way they look at each other and really listen to each other’s needs, spoke to us. We spent the day with them on their wedding day and we felt at home… they are both fun and love to live in the moment. Every little part of their day was special and memorable. I {Dafne} had to opportunity to speak with Robert { the groom’s dad and officiant } and he was so emotional, given the opportunity to officiate Paula & David’s marriage… what a privilege for a father! So thoughtful. Robert’s heart was bursting with joy. It was beautiful to watch as they incorporated an Irish/Celtic ceremony called Handfasting as they both have Irish roots in their families.

One of my favorite things in life are sunsets! You cannot beat the Clearwater Beach, Florida sunset! It was perfect in every way, the colors, the warmth…
The reception was loads of fun, with a traditional Philippine Tinikling dance, this! It was intense, the belly laughs were serious! We had a wonderful time and the guests LOVED the challenge.

Thank you Paula & David for having us, we will remember you two for always. Enjoy your new adventures together. Congratulations!

Katelyn + Jordan Step Into The Limelight | Town Manor on the Lake | Auburndale, FL

a special story written by the bride and groom…

The start of our journey:

“Jordan and I knew of each other back in high school but we did not share any classes and we never attempted to talk to each other. A few years after graduating high school, we met up with mutual friends at a lounge near the University of South Florida. After that evening, Jordan reached out to me through Facebook. We immediately hit it off and went on our first date shortly there after.

The Proposal:

In July 2017, we went to Hawaii as part of Jordan's family reunion and to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. This was the first time Jordan and I had ever been to Hawaii. Jordan's grandmother was from Hawaii and he has deep ties to his family with much love for these islands.

On July 23, 2017 we were driving up the side of a mountain to reach the Mauna Kea summit. We drove up this mountain with his parents who had rented a Jeep. We had little warning that the temperature at the peak would be 25 degrees so we were unprepared and ended up freezing in our shorts and thin long sleeves. However, the view from the summit is something we will never forget and it was worth the frost bite haha.

On our way back down from the summit, we stopped on the side of the dirt road to take a picture with this gorgeous back drop. The clouds looked like we could walk on them since they were level with the edge of the cliff. As his mom was taking the picture, he said to me "You know I love you, right?". When I turned towards him, he was down on one knee with this beautiful ring and asked "Will you marry me?". I was definitely caught off guard but, of course, I said yes. I can not even describe the emotions that were running through us that moment. That will be one of the most memorable days of our lives and I am sure it will not be our last as we continue to build our lives together.”

How amazing is that?

Katelyn & Jordan beamed LOVE on their wedding day, they tied the knot at the gorgeous and charming Town Manor on the Lake which was the perfect setting for their intimate ceremony and fun-filled reception the entire venue felt like home.
Their families and friends enjoyed a gorgeous evening during the First Dances on the patio { so romantic… } A Town Manor tradition is for the bride and groom to sign a frame during the reception, making it all so official and special.

The sunset portion { always my favorite! } was so elegant and lake Juliana made it all feel so enchanting.
We loved being able to capture this couple, we could not have asked for anything more perfect.
We wish Katelyn & Jordan ALL good things in life… Cheers to many more adventures!

Tatiana + Duat Step Into The Limelight | The Florida Aquarium | Tampa, FL

We had the most unforgettable night with Tatiana and Duat on one of the most special days of their life. The two started their day off by getting ready at the Embassy Suites in downtown tampa. Tatiana had the most gorgeous dress with a long veil that had little sparkly jewels. Duat wore a black suit which was customs made with a blue accent pattern within the jacket. Once both the lovely ladies and gentlemen were all set, we made our way to the Florida Aquarium. Friends and family gathered in the coral reef room where they would witness the two say their I-Do’s. Even a cute penguin came along to congratulate the newly weds once they were pronounced husband and wife! Later that night, the room transformed into the most spectacular dinner space where Tatiana and Duat would celebrate their marriage with their lovely guests. Sparkles and glitter were included everywhere they could, purple and teal blue decor of the tables and the uplighting merged the room to the large tank full of marine wildlife. The cake was SPECTACULAR with it’s very unique design and texture. Each table had a wine table number and each guest was given their own glass coffee mug, coffee, wine opener and stopper and an adorable penguin cutout that had their name written on it. It was truly a remarkable and colorfully festive dinner.

We loved working with this sweet and kind couple. Congratulations to Tatiana and Duat!

Natalia + Gordon Step Into The Limelight | Davis Island Garden Club | Davis Island, FL

Gordon and Natalia’s story began at a wellness store during closing hours. Gordon and his friend had just finished their gym workout and they needed to make this quick stop. As Gordon was getting ready to leave the store, Natalia walked in from a modeling shoot. She looked stunning! Gordon says, “That was the moment that Natalia stole his heart.” Unbeknownst to him, Natalia did not speak any English at this time and so he asked his friend to help him translate because Gordon wanted to get her information. They were able to exchange their contact information and decided to meet up. For their first date, they went shooting at a shooting range and afterward went to Starbucks to talk. Using google translate it helped them to communicate with one another and it wasn’t long for them to express that they both had experienced love at first sight!

Natalia loves Gordons patience. He know’s how to take care of her without trying too hard and she always feels happy around him. Even though she didn’t understand English when she first met him she would still give him her undivided attention because the sound of his voice comforted her.

Gordon loves how Natalia smiles. She has a the most precious gift of being able to soothe Gordon in any situation. Just by being with him, she gives him unrelenting strength. She always makes sure he is taken care of in the best way that she knows how and he truly loves her for just being her.

On their wedding day, Gordon had the happiest look on his face as he watched Natalia walking toward him. He was beaming at her and she was filled with love looking up the aisle into her future with the man she loves. For their wedding, Gordon and Natalia wanted the modern rustic look and they were able to achieve this by incorporating classic old world elements, with modern design in a garden setting.

Additionally, they had the Marine Corps Honor Guard adorn their ceremony to make it even more special! I heard several of Gordon + Natalia’s guests gasping in awe about how beautiful their wedding day was!

Congratulations Natalia + Gordon!
