Delmary + Anthony Step Into The Limelight | University of Tampa | Tampa, FL

Anthony and Delmary are such a fun loving couple! From the moment I spoke with them I could tell how much they can be themselves around one another. During their session at the University of Tampa, I could feel Anthony’s commitment to be there for Delmary and his willingness to be her knight and shining armor, a gentlemen, as well as her source of laughter. Their love stands strong just like the Brooklyn Bridge, in New York City, and now I understand why Anthony proposed to Delmary there!

Congratulations on your engagement and your upcoming wedding in Puerto Rico on January 26, 2019!

Engagement Dress Code

As I’m sure you all know, wedding season is quickly approaching. Whether you’re planning the wedding or attending as a guest, it’s a busy time of year for everyone. Today I want to discuss some trends that are not only in-line with wedding dress code, but will also make for some beautiful photos. Hopefully you’ll find these tips helpful, so you’re not a stressed out bride- or groom-to-be, or one of those guests running around at the last minute trying to find the perfect outfit

Florals, Florals, Florals

Lately floral patterns have been a huge hit, and they’re also extremely popular during the height of wedding season when flowers are at peak bloom in late spring and early Summer. If you’re a female wedding guest looking for a new dress to wear, I highly recommend trying a floral maxi dress, like this one here. Not only is a maxi dress a flattering option for all body types, but it’s also comfortable for sitting through the ceremony and easy to dance in at the reception. Floral patterns are also beautiful in front of the lens, because even the most subtle pattern can stand out on camera.

Let’s Talk Layers

Whether the wedding dress code is casual, semi-formal or black-tie, it’s a great time to get creative with your choices. Blazers have come a long way from your standard brown, black and gray colors. Many men opt for blazers with plaid and floral patterns, or branch out with new materials, such as linen, to elevate their formal look. Whether you’re the groom, a groomsman or a guest, you’re going to get featured in a lot of wedding photos, so be sure to have a reliable wrinkle free dress shirt that won’t bunch when you throw on your blazer. If the wedding venue is outside, a crisp button down is a great option to have on underneath.

No White.. Ever

While you’d think people would follow this rule without question, you’d be shocked with how many wedding guests think it’s okay to wear white as their main wedding outfit color. Unless you’re a bridesmaid and bride-to-be has chosen white for you to wear, steer clear of all white at all costs. Spring and Summer add more life into our wardrobes anyways, so don’t be afraid to be bold with colors and patterns. For the women out there, test out a colorful jumpsuit to wear. For the male wedding guests, add some color with your accessories. A colorful tie or bowtie won’t just elevate your look, they’ll add a lovely pop to wedding photos as well!

These are only a few tips and tricks to keep in mind when putting together your wedding-day look, but are hopefully some that will come in helpful, so you feel confident when stepping in front of the camera. These photos are memories that last a lifetime, so of course you want to look and feel your best. If you’re curious for more wedding photography advice, keep following my blog for more inspiration!

Courtney + Alan Step Into The Limelight | Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel | Tampa, FL

Courtney & Alan’s first date was over breakfast, so it was perfectly fitting to plan a brunch wedding! The morning was gorgeous and the bagels and eggs were just what their guests needed.

Their wedding was elegant and romantic the way Courtney envisioned, the decor was oh so classic… with touches of blush, rose gold, champagne gold, light pink and white.

Our bride Courtney has a very creative eye and she is very talented, she handmade their one-of-a-kind floral arch for their ceremony { I think it turned out beautiful! }. She also made each place card which were super cute and original with the most perfect succulents.

The Bride & Groom enjoyed their morning alongside their loved ones and we truly loved being able to share these moments with them, it was definitely a morning to remember.

We wish Courtney & Alan ALL the best life can offer. Congratulations!

MEAGAN + BARRY STEP INTO THE LIMELIGHT | THE FLORIDA AQUARIUM | TAMPA, FL

Meagan and Barry were married in a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Florida Aquarium!  Meagan had always dreamed of having her wedding at the aquarium surrounded by the sparkling turquoise waters and sea life of the coral reef tank for her ceremony and a reception designed with blue lighting and dendrobium orchids, which were the perfect compliment to the color palette of the space!  The couple said their vows and exchanged rings in front of the majestic under sea tank accompanied by fish, sharks and sea turtles and celebrated in the new Mosaic ballroom with their closest friends and family!  Their daughter Sydney was so sweet as the flower girl and I am happy that we were able to capture a few loving moments between her and her parents on this special day!  I loved the romantic moments we photographed of the newlyweds together backdropped by the water and in the rock windows of the wetlands!  I loved the energy of the reception as the happy couple celebrated and the fun sparkler send off from their guests!  Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Rome!

Lindsey + Steven Step Into The Limelight | Grand Plaza Hotel St. Pete Beach Resort | St. Petersburg, FL

Lindsey and Steven had such a wonderful and simply beautiful beach wedding on this very pretty day in March. Friends and Family gathered at the Grand Plaza Beachfront Resort in St Pete to witness this stunning couple say their I Do’s right on the beach. Palm tress along with coral and blush floral decorated their ceremony and reception space and of course the view of the beach was impeccable.

The pair met back 2014 through a mutual friend at a college party.  They later reconnected a few months later and kept talking and eventually started dating. On a drive up to Tonopah Nevada, after a cute little star gazing hike, Steven proposed to Lindsey and of course she said yes!

Together the couple enjoys traveling, scuba diving, watching Blue Bloods and Hawaii Five-0 together, playing cribbage, and going for walks. This couple is very active and just love being with each other at all times.

Lindsey wore a gorgeous white dress with lace and a very long train just the way she had dreamed as a little girl. Steven wore a very formal blue suit that complimented Lindsey and paired nicely with the coral accents of the bouquets.

It was such a pleasure being able to work with Lindsey and Steven. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
