Amy and Richard met the second week of February of 2015 at a gathering of mutual friends. They didn't start dating right away. It took about 8 months of running into each other on a regular basis to decide to take the leap! This sweet couple was out for a normal Friday "date night" at their favorite restaurant. What Amy didn't know was that Rich had planned with the owner to send them a special desert! He surprised her with a proposal and a "hidden" ring.
Amy + Rich love to entertain their friends and family. They love to do anything outside (especially in the warm weather), be it swimming, going to the beach, hiking. They love going to the movies and a nice dinner and concerts.
Amy: “I love how passionate, loyal and devoted Rich is. He is my best friend. I love how he makes me want to be a better person. He challenges me to pursue my passions. He loves the children. We have mutual trust and respect. I can be myself around him. He never judges me. He always a has my back and will always stand up for me and my honor. I feel like the most beautiful woman when he looks at me. I love that he gets emotional when he listens to music. He is sensitive and caring. When I am with him, I feel like my heart is being hugged.”
Rich: “I love how strong and driven Amy is. She is smart and well spoken. She is the total package. A great mom and a true friend. I knew very early on that she believed in me and I could feel her support. I love that she gets me even when she doesn't get me. I love her family and the boys. She is beautiful in and out. THE woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. Period.
They found the perfect spot in their favorite part of Florida, just minutes from where they usually stay when visiting. Mom, Susan, recommended The Sandpearl and the rest is history! This modern, romantic, sandy, beach cocktail, paradise wedding celebration was a perfect mix of friends and family celebrating their divinely inspired union and a weekend they will not soon forget.
The ceremony was a highlight of the day, and their inter-faith and spiritual elements of their union were very unique and personal to the couple. But on a deeper level, they believe their union is one. Their guests have been wishing for each of them and in many cases, they themselves have been witness to from the very beginning. This union truly was bigger than just Amy and Richard.
The reception was a blast; a very memorable weekend that many felt a part of rather then merely spectators. Each guest surely felt blessed, loved and included. First, last and always!
