Ben and Christa were childhood neighbors. They grew together and found a deep bond. From there they fell in love, they moved together, starting each new journey together and on this day, February 17th , they married. It was a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky as we started our way to the Wishing Well Barn. Spirits were high and Christa looked radiant as she got ready. What we immediately noticed and admired were how close everyone was there. They all continued about the day with such celebration and excitement for the two. The families were both close to one another, knowing each other for the last 10 years it was not about combining the families, they were already there it was about celebrating Christa and Ben. Rustic pieces were pulled together with light hues of mint and blush. Lights strung throughout the barn as they danced the night away with friends. We loved how at ease they were the ENTIRE day! The love filled through the night of celebration with a gorgeous sparkler send off. We are so thankful for the opportunity to capture such a monumental day! Congratulations to Christa and Ben, may God continue to bless you as you move on in your lives together!

EMILY AND KEENAN FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | POWEL CROSLEY ESTATE| SARASOTA, FL

Emily and Keenan met at a party in college. It didn’t take long to realize that they had found true love. Keenan proposed in the backyard of their first house they had just closed on, surprising Emily with a romantic proposal.

They planned the perfect, romantic wedding day to take place at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota. The Powel Crosley is a historic mansion that sits on the water, with beautiful views, amazing architecture, vintage details and a beautiful outdoor patio area including a beautiful staircase that Emily descended upon to meet her sweet groom at the altar. It was a beautiful ceremony, the light was beautiful and evenly lit across the guests and bride and groom, then suddenly in the middle of Emily and Keenan speaking their handwritten vows to each other, the clouds opened up and the sun shone straight through lighting the bride and groom in a beautiful golden light… it stayed like that through their first kiss as husband and wife. It was so magical!!

Following the ceremony was a beautiful reception on the lawn, family and friends ate, drank and danced the night away under the stars and lights. Such a beautiful wedding day, I am so glad I was able to capture Emily and Keenan’s perfect wedding day!

MEGAN AND JOSH FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT |CASA MARINA RESORT | KEY WEST, FL

Megan met Josh in Orlando while living in the same high rise in Downtown Orlando in 2011 as neighbors. They say they are very different from one another but all I could see on their big day was how well they complimented one another! Both flowed through their wedding laughing with friends taking in a beautiful sunset together before saying their I do’s for an intimate night ceremony. Following a beautiful and flawless reception with the sounds of a favorite band of theirs, The Morrison Brothers Band. Megan incorporated navy and blush with pops of gold and ivory to give a nautical and classic feel for this candle-lit beach ceremony, this look and feel was extended into the reception ballroom with gorgeous floral center pieces and illuminating the tables. Megan and Josh were such a fun couple to work with! We loved how adventurous these two were! At one point Megan asked if they could walk out by the water and onto the rocks, give you this was BEFORE the ceremony! I loved her taking such risks and it was WELL WORTH IT! It was a beautiful day and we were thrilled to be a part of it. Congratulations to Megan and Josh, here are a few a favorites of their wedding day!

Melissa and Chris had a beautiful wedding day at Hunter’s Green Golf and Country Club. These two met at work and fell in love. What they love most about each other is their ability to make each other laugh all the time. Together they love boating and being out on the water. Friends and family joined these two in a sweet ceremony where they said their “I do’s” overlooking the water at Hunters Green. Guests then went onto enjoy an elegant ceremony filled with fun, happiness, and love. It was great working with these two, and congrats to the newlyweds!! :)

DEVINEY AND BRETT FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | THE DON CESAR | ST. PETERSBURG , FL

The day started off with rain in the forecast. From the beginning of the week, there was a call for thunderstorms, which called for alternative plans. On the day of Deviney and Brett’s wedding the rain actually came earlier than expected. Not only that, it cooled off what could easily have been a hot ceremony and provided everyone with a gorgeous afternoon right in time for their ceremony. Deviney’s sister Alexa said it most beautifully ‘I can feel that dad was watching over us and was with us, the weather showed us that’. Though her father was not there, his presence surely was. You could feel it in the air. The family had a tight knit bond that could not be broken and was felt throughout the day. It was very important to them to greet every guest, appreciating their love and support all the while celebrating and dancing the night away. They are an absolute gorgeous couple! Deviney was stunning, she knew exactly what she wanted without hesitation all the while taking in all the little moments in between whether it be with family or friends or the flower girls/ring bearer we saw she held a special place in their hearts for her. Brett was kind and patient, one moment that struck me was he hugged each of his groomsmen after Deviney and Brett’s first dance in appreciation of them, we could see the respect he had for everyone he loved. They are a dynamic couple. Their wedding was unforgettable! Here are a few favorites of their gorgeous day!
