MELISSA AND CHRIS FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | HUNTER'S GREEN COUNTRY CLUB | TAMPA, FL

Melissa and Chris had a beautiful wedding day at Hunter’s Green Golf and Country Club.  These two met at work and fell in love. What they love most about each other is their ability to make each other laugh all the time. Together they love boating and being out on the water. Friends and family joined these two in a sweet ceremony where they said their “I do’s” overlooking the water at Hunters Green. Guests then went onto enjoy an elegant ceremony filled with fun, happiness, and love. It was great working with these two, and congrats to the newlyweds!! :)

DEVINEY AND BRETT FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | THE DON CESAR | ST. PETERSBURG , FL

The day started off with rain in the forecast. From the beginning of the week, there was a call for thunderstorms, which called for alternative plans. On the day of Deviney and Brett’s wedding the rain actually came earlier than expected. Not only that, it cooled off what could easily have been a hot ceremony and provided everyone with a gorgeous afternoon right in time for their ceremony. Deviney’s sister Alexa said it most beautifully ‘I can feel that dad was watching over us and was with us, the weather showed us that’. Though her father was not there, his presence surely was. You could feel it in the air. The family had a tight knit bond that could not be broken and was felt throughout the day. It was very important to them to greet every guest, appreciating their love and support all the while celebrating and dancing the night away.  They are an absolute gorgeous couple! Deviney was stunning, she knew exactly what she wanted without hesitation all the while taking in all the little moments in between whether it be with family or friends or the flower girls/ring bearer we saw she held a special place in their hearts for her. Brett was kind and patient, one moment that struck me was he hugged each of his groomsmen after Deviney and Brett’s first dance in appreciation of them, we could see the respect he had for everyone he loved. They are a dynamic couple. Their wedding was unforgettable! Here are a few favorites of their gorgeous day!

AMANDA AND NATHANIEL FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | TAMPA MARRIOTT WATERSIDE HOTEL AND MARINA | TAMPA FL

For most weddings, I typically will write up how they met and/or engagement but for these two after photographing their engagement session and wedding, I just LOVED both of their personalities! Amanda wrote the time that Nate proposed so well and it being so interesting, fun I have to use their words to set the tone of these two wonderful individuals.

'The plan was that Amanda would pick up Nate from the airport and the two of them would travel to (Nate's) family reunion together the following day.

Under any other circumstances, Amanda would have parked the car and met Nate at baggage claim, but she was operating on very little sleep and desperately wanted to pick up Nate, get takeout and go home for the night. Amanda got Chipotle and Nate got Zaxby's - the two couldn't be happier - or so she thought.

Finally, they make it to Amanda's apartment on the south side of Jacksonville and the two enjoy their guilty pleasures while watching the BET Awards. At Nate's request, Amanda gets up to retrieve Nate's drink and as she turns around to head back to the living room, she sees Nate, only a few inches away from her, falling to the ground. As he's going down, she hears a loud shredding sound, followed by a heavy thump. Confused and concerned, she asks Nate if he's alright. Seemingly okay, Nate pulls out a red box from his pocket, but Amanda fails to notice the box because all of her attention is focused on the gaping tear in Nate's jeans. Nate managed to tear his jeans from knee to crotch as he was falling to one knee and Amanda was understandably distracted.

Despite the rough landing, Nate continued with the proposal and opened the red box and pulled out a gorgeous ring and asked Amanda to marry him. Still, till this day, Amanda has no idea what Nate said during his proposal, but she will always remember the moment Nate split his pants."

On their wedding day, there was no split pants, no extremely tired individuals but instead we beheld two awesome individuals who travelled back to Tampa (Amanda's hometown) to say their I do's! The ladies and gentlemen both were so much fun and courteous. There was a buzz of excitement as the day flowed. Their humor, fun and blending of two wonderful families ensued as Amanda walked down the outdoor staircase of the Marriott, down an elegant black and white runner to a man that stood before her beaming as he watched her. They let the day flow the way it should and took in aspects along the way. The classic look of black and white with a pinch of chartreuse and gold. The day was bright but Nate and Amanda shined even brighter! We just loved how lovely these two were! You could hear how much they were loved by their family and friends, with positivity and joy, the officiant was handpicked and made it personal, the speeches by the best man and maid of honor were thought out and original. We took a ride to University of Tampa for a few moments with the bridal party and the two, laughter and dancing on the bus brought such a fun element and memory for everyone involved.  It was such a beautiful day for these two and we felt so blessed to be apart of this love and celebration. Their humor, kindness and love is one that can stand the test of time!

Please help me in congratulating Amanda and Nate! Yours was a special one, and thankyou for allowing us to document it! Here are some favorites from that day!

CHAYA AND MICHAEL FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | DON CESAR | ST. PETERSBURG, FL

Chaya and Michael met back in high school in 2004! These two have been together for 9 and a half years. Chaya loves Michael's drive and motivation and Michael loves Chaya's "weirdness" and together they enjoy great food and the beach, which is why they chose to get married at the Don Cesar on St. Petersburg Beach. These two had a delightful ceremony in the hotel's lush gardens, and then guests made their way to one of the hotels lovely ballrooms, laced with "old world elegance" just as Chaya dreamed. It was also important to Chaya to have her grandfather, Paw, who has passed away, to be apart of their special day as they were best friends, so they had their wedding day on his birthday, and Chaya wore his wedding band. These two had a beautiful wedding day and it was great to work with them. Congrats to the newlyweds! :)

MONICA AND JAMES FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | POWEL CROSLEY ESTATE | SARASOTA, FL

Monica and James were married in a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota, FL!  This wedding day was a joy to photograph and the newlyweds were a pleasure to work with!  There was only one choice for this couple when it came to selecting their venue! James proposed to Monica on the stairs of the Powel Crosley so it naturally made sense to them to get married at this beautiful location.  Built in 1929, the estate is a gorgeous Mediterranean Revival style and has stunning views around every corner!  The couple's original ceremony plan was altered due to a storm that decided to make an appearance early in our day and I was amazed at how positive  Monica and James both stayed during the rain!  Just at the perfect time the rain cleared, and even though we had to move their selected outdoor spot, the ceremony was still so beautiful on the back terrace and the bride still was able to make her grand entrance walking down the back stair case where James proposed to her! I was so happy that everything worked out!  After our family pictures we captured some bride and groom portraits under a stunning banyan tree the newlyweds enjoyed a beautiful dinner in the great room with all of their guests.  I was thrilled that they were willing to put their entree on hold while we photographed their wedding day sunset because it was beautiful!  I really enjoyed the sweet moments that we were able to capture between James and his sons as well as Monica and the two boys!  After dinner the bride and groom and their family and friends danced the night away under the stars and I left this wedding feeling so wonderful and blessed to have been able to document such an amazing day!  Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Compton!
