Hello, I’m Rebecca Zoumberos, Founder and Creative Director of Limelight Photography.
I founded Limelight on Valentine’s Day in 2006 with a love for photography, an eye for design, and a desire to create something meaningful. Twenty years later, I remain deeply grateful for every couple who invites us into one of the most important days of their lives.
My Christian faith is at the center of who I am and how I lead. I believe marriage is a sacred covenant created by God, and I do not take lightly the privilege of documenting the promises two people make to one another. Photography allows me to preserve the joy, devotion, beauty, and emotion of that covenant in a way that can be experienced for generations.
My faith also teaches me to approach every person with love, curiosity, and respect. I have a genuine love for people from every culture and background. Traveling the world has expanded the way I see beauty, celebration, family, faith, and tradition. Whether I am photographing a multicultural wedding in Tampa Bay, a destination celebration in Saint Lucia, or a vow renewal in Paris, I want to understand what matters to each couple and honor the people, customs, and relationships that have shaped their story.
My education began at the University of Florida and continued at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. My background in design influences how I see composition, color, architecture, fashion, and the details that make every celebration visually distinct.
Before founding Limelight, I worked as a Wedding Catering Sales Manager and Wedding Album Designer. Those experiences taught me that exceptional wedding photography requires more than creating beautiful images. It requires organization, thoughtful communication, collaboration, and a deep understanding of how an entire wedding day comes together.
Today, I lead a talented team of photographers, cinematographers, content creators, editors, and creative professionals who share a commitment to documenting love stories and unforgettable celebrations with artistry and care. I remain actively involved in shaping the Limelight experience, mentoring our team, nurturing venue and vendor relationships, and making sure our clients feel supported from their first conversation through the delivery of their memories.
Outside of Limelight, I love traveling, learning about different cultures, reading, triathlons and spending time with the people I love. I am inspired by faith, meaningful work, adventure, beautiful light, and the courage it takes to live a life rooted in truth.
After twenty years, I still believe it is an extraordinary honor to be invited into someone’s story. My purpose is not simply to create beautiful photographs. It is to notice what matters, preserve it with intention, and give people a way to return to the love, joy, and people who made that moment sacred.
