Hey, I'm Rebecca Zoumberos, and I'm thrilled to be your guide into the world of Limelight Photography. Let me share my journey and why I'm so passionate about capturing your beautiful moments.
Photography isn't just my profession; it's my love. I feel honored when couples open their hearts and souls, allowing me to step into their lives and create visual stories of love and devotion. This passion stems from my deep belief that marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God, and I'm fortunate to share both the joy of this covenant and my God-given talent.
My educational path took me from the lively orange and blue campus of the University of Florida (Go Gators!) to the vibrant art scene of San Francisco's Academy of Art University. My background in design adds a unique touch to the visual stories I create for you.
Before embarking on the Limelight Photography adventure, I gained invaluable experience as a Wedding Catering Sales Manager and a Wedding Album Designer. My journey into the world of photography and love stories began on a special day - Valentine's Day of 2006, when I founded Limelight Photography, infusing my own unique blend of love and artistry into every frame.
My passion is further ignited by the stories of determined, creative souls who break through boundaries and surmount obstacles to reach greatness. Icons such as Vogue's Anna Wintour, fashion legends Coco Chanel and Valentino, the endurance of long-distance runner Steve Prefontaine, and the indomitable spirit of the 1988 Jamaican Olympic bobsled team have all inspired my work.
I'm not just a photographer; I'm a passionate triathlete who loves the rush of the race, a bookworm who gets lost in the pages of a good novel, and a sushi enthusiast with a knack for making wasabi my BFF. I also share my home with a lovable French Bulldog named Z'Orange, adding a touch of joy and playfulness to my life.
I'm also deeply in love with Saint Lucia, and I'm proud to be married to Michael, who runs our AirBNB business on the ocean in Laborie, including a charming treehouse. My heart is intertwined with this enchanting island and its vibrant culture.
