Hello, my name is Natalia Fontes, and I am a Senior Lead Photographer with Limelight Photography.
I was born in Brazil and speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese. I hold a degree in Marketing and an MBA in Business Negotiation, and that background influences the thoughtful, organized way I communicate, plan, and work with people.
My journey into photography began after I became a mother and discovered how much I loved creating portraits. I began studying photography in Brazil, and shortly afterward, my husband’s career brought our family to the United States. Moving to a new country and learning a new language required determination, patience, and a willingness to keep growing. I dedicated myself to studying photography, lighting, composition, and the technical skills required to create consistently beautiful work.
I am a perfectionist at heart. I hold myself to a standard far beyond what anyone else would expect of me because excellence matters in every part of the experience. That commitment begins with open communication and thoughtful planning. It continues through the execution of the wedding day, the care I give every detail, and the consistency I bring to the final collection of images.
I am also known for arriving with my own “bag of tricks.” Inside you may find ribbons, fabrics, styling blocks, ring boxes, crystal light refractors, reflective surfaces, detail trays, and other small tools that help me transform meaningful items into beautiful photographs. I prepare carefully because I never want to rely on ideal circumstances. If the light needs to be shaped, a detail needs to be elevated, or a setting needs a creative solution, I am ready.
Although my photography experience includes branding, maternity, boudoir, families, children, celebrations, and live events, weddings hold a special place in my heart. Having been happily married for 18 years, I understand the meaning behind the promises being made. A wedding is not simply a beautiful event. It is the beginning of a marriage and the gathering of the people who helped shape two lives.
I approach every celebration with kindness, compassion, intelligence, loyalty, and complete commitment. I want my couples to feel heard, prepared, and cared for throughout the entire process. On the wedding day, I remain attentive to the timeline and details while also watching for the quiet expressions, joyful reactions, and meaningful interactions that cannot be planned.
At home, I am a mother to three beautiful girls and share my life with my husband, our dog, and our cat. My family has taught me how quickly seasons of life pass and how meaningful photographs become with time.
It is a privilege to preserve a couple’s wedding day with intention and excellence. I bring my whole heart, careful preparation, and highest standards to every celebration because these moments deserve nothing less.
