Hi, I’m Jalyssa! I’m so thrilled to be part of the Limelight Photography team. Photography has always been a passion of mine because I love capturing real, meaningful moments that people can hold onto forever. To me, it’s never just about clicking a button—it’s about seeing the beauty in people, places, and emotions, and preserving them in a way that tells a story.

What excites me most about photography is the opportunity to connect with people and document their most special chapters. Whether it’s a wedding day, an engagement, or a family celebration, I feel honored to be trusted with moments that will be cherished for generations. I strive to create an atmosphere where my clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and celebrated, so their personalities and love can truly shine through in the photos. My goal is for every gallery to feel like more than just images—it should feel like reliving the experience all over again.

I also believe photography should be fun! Being in front of the camera can sometimes feel intimidating, but I love bringing positive energy, encouragement, and a playful spirit to each session. I want every couple and family I work with to walk away not only with beautiful images but with memories of a joyful and stress-free experience.

Outside of photography, I come from a big, close-knit family—I’m one of six kids! Growing up surrounded by so much love and laughter has taught me to value connection, and that’s something I carry into my work. When I’m not behind the camera, I love to sing, write, and travel, always seeking out new ways to be creative and inspired.
