Hi, I’m Gui Scheffer, a Brazilian photographer, designer, and digital creator based in Tampa Bay. As a Lead Photographer with Limelight Photography, I bring an easygoing, joyful energy to every wedding. I am upbeat, relaxed, and genuinely happy to be there. My goal is to feel like your instant best friend, someone who can make you laugh, help you feel confident, and keep the experience light while still giving every meaningful moment the attention it deserves.
I have dedicated the past several years to creating photographs that feel authentic, intentional, and timeless. I believe the best images do more than show you what happened. They bring you back to the emotion, energy, and people who made the moment matter. Every glance, touch, laugh, and unexpected interaction becomes part of a larger visual story.
My creative work extends beyond weddings into fashion, editorial, commercial, food, lifestyle, and portrait photography. I am drawn to bold color, expressive styling, movement, strong composition, and the way light can completely transform an image. Working as a designer and digital creator has trained me to see the entire visual story, from the smallest detail to the overall mood and aesthetic.
That creative range shapes the way I approach weddings. I can recognize a beautifully styled detail, create an editorial portrait, and remain present for the candid moments happening between them. I know when to offer direction and when to step back, allowing people to relax and be fully themselves.
My personality is easy and breezy, but my approach is intentional. I want couples to feel comfortable, understood, and excited to create with me. Wedding days can move quickly, and I bring the kind of calm, positive energy that helps everyone breathe, laugh, and enjoy what is happening.
Outside of photography, I love live music, festivals, fashion, art, travel, and spending time with my family and friends. I am engaged to my fiancé, Cameron, and we share our lives with two playful cats who keep us entertained.
Being engaged has given me an even more personal appreciation for the excitement, emotion, and meaning behind planning a wedding. I understand how deeply personal this season is and how important it feels to choose people who truly see you.
