Courtney Borges | Associate Wedding Photographer

Hi, I’m Court Borges, an associate photographer from Santa Barbara, California. I’m a mother, Army veteran, future teacher, and artist. My journey into photography began with my love for capturing photos of my children and family, and over the years, that passion has grown into something much more meaningful.

What I enjoy most about wedding photography is creating memories that couples and their families can cherish for generations. I often think about how the couples I photograph today may one day become the matriarchs and patriarchs of their own families. Having been married for 10 years myself, I’ve seen my two daughters look through my wedding album, and it reminds me just how special it is to preserve these moments. The thought of future generations admiring the day their parents, grandparents, or loved ones vowed to love one another and begin their family is what fuels my love for photography.

Outside of photography, I enjoy being a mother, pursuing my journey toward becoming a teacher, and expressing myself through art. I’ve been a film photographer since high school, making photography a lifelong creative passion.

A few fun facts about me: I have more than 20 animals, grew up on the Southern California coast just 14 miles from the beautiful Pacific Ocean, and I’m an Army veteran. I can also tell you a random fact about almost anything!
