Megan + Benjamin Step Into The Limelight | The Florida Aquarium | Tampa, FL

If you’ve never seen two people whole-heartedly in love, you need to see the way that Ben looks at Megan and the way these two talk about each other + their love story… true love has never been so obvious.

Megan and Ben flew to Florida for their big celebration, and with them they brought all of their friends and relatives. On their wedding day, Megan and Ben were some of the happiest people that we’ve been able to witness. Not only that, but their love is so distinct, genuine and gentle.  You can tell a lot about people by the way they love their friends and family, and these two care for their loved ones so well.

Wanting a wedding venue that was outside of the “norm”, Megan and Ben settled on the Florida Aquarium. To add their own spin on this venue, their decor (+ attire) was inspired by disco! We need to mention that Ben wore the most stylish jacket and shoes, which matched Megan’s blue bowed heels. Incredible.

Pairing perfectly with the energy of the day, Ben’s best man/brother sang his toast and even had a saxophonist come to serenade the couple. The bride’s sisters (maids/matrons of honor) also brought out a customized song going to the beat of “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air”, which is fitting due to their Pennsylvania roots.

We do not have the words to explain the amount of love and joy that we wish for Megan and Ben going into married life! We already know that they compliment each other so well, but we only hope that they continue to grow and cherish life together.

Kaitlyn + James Step Into The Limelight | The Vinoy® Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club + Sunset Ballroom | St. Petersburg, FL

Happy, excited, love, family

Kaitlyn and James originally met in 2018 during a ruck event on St. Pete beach, but had lost contact with each other. Little did they know, they actually lived very close to each other. They finally met up again for a couple other training events that Kaitlyn had put on close to where they lived. Thankfully, for a couple of them, James was the only to show up and they actually got to know each other pretty well. Finally, on 6/23/19, they decided to actually go on a dinner date, and their first official date ended up being on 6/27.

Fast forward two years, and James invited Kaitlyn out to dinner with two of his friends. They were heading to dinner on their boat and were planning on docking at the restaurant, however James made a little detour first to a sandbar to watch the sunset. James waited for as long as he could for the sun to set, however he was also watching a storm that was coming in quickly. While Kaitlyn was watching the cool clouds and pretty sunset come in, he started getting all romantic and claimed he was the lucky one (which she still believes she is luckier), and then got down on one knee and proposed.

In James’ own words, “I love that Kaitlyn is smart, caring and compassionate. Kaitlyn is always motivating and wanting the best for other people. I love the way she looks at me and her smile. Everything about her. She makes me want to be a better person and she brings the best out of me.”

In Kaitlyn’s own words: “I love James' passion towards life. He has been through so much and still continues to put his family and friends needs first. I love his kind heart and witty personality. He is truly a gentle giant, has the sweetest smile, and I continue to wonder how I got so lucky to met a man like him. I also love how he can always find my cell phone for me. :)”

Together they enjoy running very long distances (sometimes with obstacles and carrying extra weight). They love paddle boarding, occasional horseback riding, shooting, spending time with their fur-baby Leo, and watching reruns on Netflix (or for James, playing videogames when she goes to bed). Also, maybe one day golf (although Kaitlyn is scared to see how bad she actually is lol.)

They loved having their family and friends come celebrate the fact they believe they are the two luckiest people on earth!!!

Kaitlyn and her mom did a lot of homework researching venue options. They loved the fact The Vinoy is in St. Pete, where they first met, and also loved the scenery. They love how close the water is, yet also how close to downtown their location was.

They love the tea garden and the history behind the hotel. They were excited for our horse-drawn carriage from the ceremony to the reception, and praying for a beautiful day, especially the sunset! They were also excited to surprise their family with their first dance. A year of dance lessons paid off!

Their entire day was romantic and the atmosphere of the Tea Garden at  The Vinoy creates an intimate experience, even with a large amount of people. They enjoyed an intimate, simple, elegant  wedding ceremony. The reception was an all out party and celebration!

What about your wedding makes it unique to the two of you:: The fact they get to celebrate it with so many family and friends.

The color blue has a lot of meaning to them. Along with blue, representing the "thin blue line" and James being a Manatee sheriff, blue is also represented in the Navy, which Kaitlyn's Dad and older brother served in. The other colors, Kaitlyn thought were pretty and went with the day.

Haley + Russell Step Into The Limelight | Sirata Beach Resort | St. Petersburg, FL

Haley and Russell met in 2016 through a mutual friend and they’ve been together since April of 2016. Exactly one year later, Haley and Russell were officially engaged—there wasn’t a “grand proposal”, but rather the two of them designed her ring together. So sweet!

These two are so fun. Haley and Russell love riding Harleys and going on adventures. For their grand adventure, they came down to St. Pete Beach from upstate New York to tie the knot!

Their Sirata wedding was stunning. With their reception space designed by the bride and Melanie from Chantilly Chic Celebrations, it radiated boho elegance. Also, their reception spot overlooked the beach, so guests got to watch the sun go down on the white sandy beach.

Congratulations to Haley & Russell!  Your wedding day was beautiful and we are so glad we got to be apart of it!

Elizabeth + Nick Step Into The Limelight | Hotel Haya | Tampa, FL

Happy. Engaged. Welcomed.

Elizabeth and Nick met the old fashion way online, and had their first date on 9/6/2018.

About three years later on September 17, 2021 they did an early morning 7-mile hike in Sedona, Arizona on Devils Bridge together. This was day two of an eleven day, three state trip. Elizabeth later learned that her super punny future hubby was pulling one over on her, when he asked if she wanted to go across the street to the Mescal Trail and find the “perfect rock” to sit on and eat their lunch. There were no rocks, barely any trees. Just clay and heat. Somehow, he managed to find a rock that they attempted to squish their bottoms on together. Like usual, he gave her one of his Airpods and he had in the other. He put on her favorite – Dierks Bentley. She was unpacking their lunch, and as they were eating their wraps, staring out at an incredible view, her rubbing his back – she got super teary eyed behind her glasses. “Living” was what was playing…she said to him something along the lines of, “I know you’re going to make fun of me, but I’m secretly crying behind my glasses. We have such an awesome life, look at what we’re looking at, and it’s only day two of our trip.” She proceeded to keep eating, and then he said, “do you remember that nuclear bomb I told you that I had on you?” She couldn’t forget... He had been talking about it for years. She thought she had done something really stupid or embarrassing and he recorded her or something. Nope. He gave her his phone (that was playing the music) and he said, “go to a video from our first date.” She said, “like the anniversary of our first date four years ago, like last week?” He said, “no, our first date.” She said, “the only picture we took on our first date was one I took of the veins popping out of your temple.” So she scrolled back to September 6, 2018 – and there it was...the nuclear bomb. She hit play, Dierks stopped – and the audio was now accompanying a selfie video of Nick, on his way to their first date. PS – Nick hates taking photos, selfies, you name it. He went on to say some things along the lines of, “I have no idea why I am doing this, but I am going on a first date with this girl Elizabeth, and something just feels different about it.” He went on to say a few other things too. So now clearly, she is crying even more behind her glasses. What she doesn’t see happening in her peripheral is Nick going in their backpack, pulling out a ring box, and plopping his knee in the dirt. Apparently, he asked her to marry him, and she didn’t hear it. She wasn’t able to process what was happening. Then she heard, “was that a yes?” So of course, she said yes!! They hugged, they kissed, and she only made him take one photo! Sweaty, no makeup, private. Couldn’t have been a more perfect proposal for the two of them.

They selected Hotel Haya in Ybor City for their wedding so they could show off their town, celebrate their union, and enjoy their family and friends. A killer venue with history and charm, and they love Ybor. It was a perfect setting for their Vintage Old Florida wedding. It was classy and elegant with dark greens, citrus oranges and magnolias.

Nick restored a 50-year old family ’65 Chevy that they took pics with, and used for their getaway.

The couple incorporated citrus decoupage oyster shells for each guest, dehydrated citrus for the name cards and florals. Cocktail napkins of their pups were on the bars with cigars.
