Elizabeth + Nick Step Into The Limelight | Hotel Haya | Tampa, FL

Happy. Engaged. Welcomed.

Elizabeth and Nick met the old fashion way online, and had their first date on 9/6/2018.

About three years later on September 17, 2021 they did an early morning 7-mile hike in Sedona, Arizona on Devils Bridge together. This was day two of an eleven day, three state trip. Elizabeth later learned that her super punny future hubby was pulling one over on her, when he asked if she wanted to go across the street to the Mescal Trail and find the “perfect rock” to sit on and eat their lunch. There were no rocks, barely any trees. Just clay and heat. Somehow, he managed to find a rock that they attempted to squish their bottoms on together. Like usual, he gave her one of his Airpods and he had in the other. He put on her favorite – Dierks Bentley. She was unpacking their lunch, and as they were eating their wraps, staring out at an incredible view, her rubbing his back – she got super teary eyed behind her glasses. “Living” was what was playing…she said to him something along the lines of, “I know you’re going to make fun of me, but I’m secretly crying behind my glasses. We have such an awesome life, look at what we’re looking at, and it’s only day two of our trip.” She proceeded to keep eating, and then he said, “do you remember that nuclear bomb I told you that I had on you?” She couldn’t forget... He had been talking about it for years. She thought she had done something really stupid or embarrassing and he recorded her or something. Nope. He gave her his phone (that was playing the music) and he said, “go to a video from our first date.” She said, “like the anniversary of our first date four years ago, like last week?” He said, “no, our first date.” She said, “the only picture we took on our first date was one I took of the veins popping out of your temple.” So she scrolled back to September 6, 2018 – and there it was...the nuclear bomb. She hit play, Dierks stopped – and the audio was now accompanying a selfie video of Nick, on his way to their first date. PS – Nick hates taking photos, selfies, you name it. He went on to say some things along the lines of, “I have no idea why I am doing this, but I am going on a first date with this girl Elizabeth, and something just feels different about it.” He went on to say a few other things too. So now clearly, she is crying even more behind her glasses. What she doesn’t see happening in her peripheral is Nick going in their backpack, pulling out a ring box, and plopping his knee in the dirt. Apparently, he asked her to marry him, and she didn’t hear it. She wasn’t able to process what was happening. Then she heard, “was that a yes?” So of course, she said yes!! They hugged, they kissed, and she only made him take one photo! Sweaty, no makeup, private. Couldn’t have been a more perfect proposal for the two of them.

They selected Hotel Haya in Ybor City for their wedding so they could show off their town, celebrate their union, and enjoy their family and friends. A killer venue with history and charm, and they love Ybor. It was a perfect setting for their Vintage Old Florida wedding. It was classy and elegant with dark greens, citrus oranges and magnolias.

Nick restored a 50-year old family ’65 Chevy that they took pics with, and used for their getaway.

The couple incorporated citrus decoupage oyster shells for each guest, dehydrated citrus for the name cards and florals. Cocktail napkins of their pups were on the bars with cigars.

Ashley + Michael Step Into The Limelight | Sacred Heart Catholic Church + Le Méridien Tampa, The Courthouse | Tampa, FL

Ashley and Michael… what a joy it was to witness their wedding day.

Ashley and Michael’s story starts when they were in grade school. Ashley was a cheerleader and Michael was on the football team… one caught the other’s eye, but they didn’t date for a while after. Michael’s brother describes Michael as being “by the book”, and it may have taken many years, but Ashley and Michael finally got to tie the knot on a beautiful Saturday morning in Tampa.

On their wedding day, emotions were overflowing. Tears of happiness were shared by their closest friends and family (and the vendors). Their ceremony took place at the beautiful Sacred Heart, followed by cocktail hour and their reception at Le Meridien. The reception was breath-taking, from the beautifully crafted flower wall with their last name in neon lights, to the dainty treats that they had on their dessert table. It truly was a sweet day. One of our favorite moments was their cake cutting… or should we say cake smash?

Ashley and Michael are the perfect duo, balancing playfulness, seriousness and love. We are so happy that these two now get to share the rest of their lives MARRIED! It’s about time!

Congratulations to the Hoffmans!

Heather + Tarek Step Into The Limelight | Fenway Hotel, Autograph Collection | Dunedin, FL

Heather and Tarek’s wedding day turned out to be not only a union of two beautiful families, but also a day where their little ones could witness their parent’s sweet love.

Heather and Tarek’s friends and family (+ a belly dancer, gifted by the Groom’s mom) brought high energy as they danced the night away! We especially loved watching the kids make their way to the dance floor to bust a move.

We wish this couple all the sweetest wedding memories and years filled with laughter, and limitless love. Cheers!

Kadie + Rodney Step Into The Limelight | SALE E PEPE | Marco Island, FL

Get to know Kadie & Rodney…

Rodney and Kadie met in June of 2016. Rodney is a builder and he contacted Kadie about representing him with his sales because she is a Realtor. They met the first time to discuss business, but Rodney later asked Kadie out on a lunch date. They been together ever since and she also took the job!
Rodney proposed on the back terrace by a fire pit. They had a couple close friends there, listening to a playlist that he made for Kadie. It was after a wonderful day of boating and hanging with friends on the river.
Rodney and Kadie are both are very honest, loyal people that cherish our time together. They both love their families and their commitment to each other, they always are mindful of their children and their feelings. Because they are a blended family, they both cherish their time together and with each others kids, but they make sure to allow time one on one with their own children, so nobody feels left out.
They have similar interests, traveling, family time, boating, spending time together and with friends. Rodney loves sports and Kadie enjoys watching him play them. They both love dogs, really all animals, they currently have 5 dogs together.
Their wedding day was classy and fun! Rodney and Kadie truly enjoyed their day, along with their guests and {mostly} on the dance floor. The decor was a classic theme with ivory and blue for their main colors, not over doing it with flowers, it was very tasteful with gold and ivory accents.
It was such a gorgeous day… Marco Island never disappoints!
We wish Kadie & Rodney a beautiful life together, filled with many many unforgettable moments. Cheers to a beautiful couple!

Erica + Lionel Step Into The Limelight | Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort And Spa | Clearwater, FL

We all want to know…

How did he propose? It was the Fourth of July 2021 and we had just gotten back from Lionel’s cousins house. He asked Erica to wait in the car while he did something inside (Erica thought maybe Isabella had painted something for her). 20 minutes passed and Erica really had to use the restroom, so she called Lionel and asked if she could come inside now. When she walked in, Lionel had the stairs lined with rose petals and candles, and had their song playing in the background—it was at this point that Erica finally caught on. Erica walked up the stairs and found more rose petals and candles all over the room. Lionel was standing there waiting for her with the biggest smile on his face. Lionel said some very beautiful words, the specifics of which Erica doesn’t remember because her heart was beating so fast. Lionel then called for his girls Isabella (9) and Liana (4) to come out of their room and told Erica to turn around. When she did, she saw that both girls were wearing shirts that said “Will you marry our daddy?” Erica immediately dropped to her knees and began crying. When she turned to look at Lionel, he was on one knee and had the most gorgeous ring in his hand. It was easily the best day ever!

What do you love about each other:

  • Erica loves about Lionel: the incredible dad he is, the patience he has with her, how hardworking he is, the notes he leaves her in the morning, when he cleans the house and does yard work, how big his heart is.

  • Lionel loves about Erica: The unbelievable role model and step-upped mother she has become for Isabella and Liana. The love and compassion she shows Lionel, Isabella, and Liana on a daily basis. Erica has been the best life partner Lionel could have ever asked for and is very blessed to have Erica in his life.

Interests/hobbies you enjoy doing together: we like to golf together, spend time with our families and our 2 girls.

Erica & Lionel’s wedding was pure magic! It was a beautiful story unfolding was they celebrated their families coming together and becoming one.
It was classic & timeless, we loved seeing Erica’s dad perform during their Ceremony and just how thoughtful it was for them to incorporate Spanish for Lionel’s side of the family. It was so sweet to see

Erica & Lionel enjoy their day along with their girls…
We wish Erica & Lionel a lifetime of JOY and happiness. Congratulations!
