Samantha + James Step Into The Limelight | Mahaffey Theater + St. Pete Yacht Club | St. Petersburg, FL

Samantha and James met in 2010 at Sea Scouts (James was in 8th grade and Samantha was in 9th grade). They were just friends and raced sailboats competitively for several years. In 2013 the two of them ran a summer sailing camp together and became very close friends. September 13, 2013 they went on our first date at the Cheesecake Factory and to watch a movie.  Little did they know that would blossom into a beautiful relationship.

Now, they have been together for several years. The couple has two dogs and purchased a home together. 

These two are so much fun to be around. It was a beautiful day in downtown St. Pete, with boats all about and sunshine to be had! They were wed in the beautiful Mahaffey Theater and then moved on to party at the St. Pete Yacht Club surrounded by friends and family. We had a wonderful session out on the dock with a beautiful sunset falling behind the scenic downtown skyline. 

Then we wrapped up the evening with a night session by the string lights. These two were made for each other, and I think it shows in this gallery.

Juanita & Rick Step Into The Limelight | Lido Beach Resort | Sarasota, FL

Juanita & Rick at at pool party back in 2018 in Cheltenham, PA. After a couple years of dating, Rick proposed to Juanita on her birthday on April 1st in 2021 ♥️
Juanitas’s POV:
I love that Rick is very calm and level headed, slow to anger, very loving and supportive, has a great sense of humor, fun to be with.
Rick’s POV:
I love that we are best friends, she is supportive, beautiful, and easy to talk to, we have a lot in common and enjoy being with each other.
Juanita & Rick both enjoy playing golf, running, lifting weights, traveling, watching movies and tv shows, going to beach, shopping, eating out at restaurants and of course they both LOVE the beach.
Their wedding day was super laid back and oh so romantic, we LOVED watching these two interact with other {they cannot keep their hands off of each other and ohh how we LOVE it!} They both are very sweet and just soooo nice ♥️ they truly made sure to enjoy every single moment to the fullest and we could not be happier for these two beautiful souls.

Dominique + Matthew Step Into The Limelight | Sandpearl Resort | Clearwater Beach, FL

Happy, love, fun, memorable!

Dominique + Matt met in 2015 when they were both working at MGM Grand Casino Marketing (Matt) & Social Events (Dom). This sweet couple is very supportive of each other, loves each other’s sense of humor and share the same values. Together they love being travel partners and the mini family they have built with Winnie & Krewella (their fur babies). Matt proposed with a custom scrapbook of all of their adventures together on the beach in Florida - inspiration from the movie “Up”.

Dom and Matt enjoy attending baseball games (any sporting events really) together, bar hopping, traveling, playing Yahtzee in their backyard with their fur babies, going to the beach and boating.

Their wedding was a fun, loving bad-*ss party including glow sticks, a mash up of songs and great food.

Dom and Matt love the water and travel to Florida at least once a year. Their first trip to Florida was to Clearwater! Inspiration for their wedding location at The Sandpearl came from the views of the water with the beach as the background. And the theme was to be classy and include bright colors. Dom was originally looking for a flown beach dress & fell in love with something completely opposite. It was fun and “lax” with a banging after party once the traditional parts are over. The best part of the day was the beautiful sunset, late night bites, glow sticks, overall background of the entire day and having their fur babies with them!

NACE Planner Palooza | Honeymoon Island State Park | Pinellas County, FL

Limelight Photography was honored to be a sponsor for the Planner Palooza with NACE (National Association for Catering & Events.) Located on Honeymoon Island, this event was absolutely gorgeous! Each table was uniquely and beautifully decorated by each vendor. 🤩 We enjoyed seeing everyone’s creative ideas come to life through these stunning tables.  From the retro van photo booth to the cutest flower cart, there were so many amazing vendors at this networking event!  There was even a live painter who painted the gorgeous sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico. 🎨🌅 We were honored to have been a part of this event and we loved capturing it all! 💛

Bliss + Rafal Step Into The Limelight | Pass-a-Grille Beach | St. Pete Beach, FL

You know those couples that are simply beautiful inside and out… well this is Bliss & Rafal! 💛 

We LOVED getting to meet this gorgeous couple for their engagement photos at Pass-a-Grille Beach! We started the shoot off by walking around the cute downtown and then finished the session off at the one and only St. Pete Beach! That iconic Florida sunset was the highlight of the shoot! 🌅 Bliss & Rafal were the sweetest couple and kept us laughing the whole evening. We cannot wait to capture their wedding at Opal Sands this November!
