Suncoast Wedding & Event Leaders (SWEL) is an organization increasing networking and educational opportunities for event professionals on the Suncoast of Florida. These events are designed to help build relationships, develop essential skills for building your business and strengthening the wedding and event community.
SWEL Events happen on the second Tuesday of the month. Attendees can purchase tickets a la carte or sign up for an annual membership. With over 100 members as well as hundreds of non-member attendees, they are the largest wedding vendor group in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Members come from as far south as Naples and up through St. Petersburg, Tampa and even Orlando.
Jordan Heller is the owner and founder of the organization and does a fantastic job! They take pride in creating spectacular events with fantastic themes, where great connections are made and ALL feel welcome.
Limelight Photography had the honor of photographing June’s event Summer Solstice at the Midsommar Soirée and it it was spectacular! We made many new professional connections and strengthened existing ones. Much fund was had we swing around the maypole and listened to Polka music during this Bavarian-themed event to honor the changing of the seasons.
The Resort at Longboat Key Club provided an exquisite backdrop and the deliciously themed food and drinks including Wurst Bar, Spatzel Station, German mini desserts, Draft beers, German passed hors d’oeuvres.
