We are always so blessed on having such beautiful and great weddings as the year wraps up and this is certainly a couple that made our end of the year a greta one!

A Love Story from our Bride:

“I met Chris on my 18th birthday, May 28 2011. I was going on my first ever tandem skydive with my mom for my birthday. After we landed I spotted Chris sitting with all his gear on (he just started solo jumping had about 50 jumps). Since I was feeling spunky on my birthday I decided to hit on him with the corniest pick up line.... "I've been looking for you my whole life!" I've used the pickup line before but it never worked, but it definitely did with Chris! At the time, he had a girlfriend which was a big let down, but after 1 year later I received a message from him. From then on we have been together!”

“We were in Switzerland and he wingsuit base jumped off a mountain while I waited for him on the ground below. When he landed, he got down on one knee and asked me if I would spend the rest of my life with him.”

This couple is truly one of the most adventurous and most daring and they enjoy spending time together on this incredible ventures!

They day of their wedding was definitely quite the thrill ride with great moments, genuine funny and laughable moments and of course the sweet ones too! Even though the weather was a little rough, these two love birds said their I-Do’s on the beach, with the wind embracing them and the rain sprinkling down blessings from the heavens. The reception came around and these two soulmates would loose themselves within each other’s arms - especially during their first dance!

What an amazing night we had and as always, it was such an honor to be a part of this little adventure that will last a life time. Congrats Charley and Chris!!!

Allyssa + Daniel Step Into The Limelight | Town Manor on the Lake B&B | Auburndale, FL

What do you love about each other::
Allyssa: What I love about Daniel is his selflessness, his generous heart, his bantor-type humor, his thirst for knowledge, and his devotion to those he loves.
Daniel: What I love about Allyssa is the passion she has for our relationship and me and quirky sense of humor.
Interests/hobbies you enjoy doing together::
Hiking, watching movies, relaxing, swimming, trying out breweries, traveling, and visiting family.

We LOVED meeting these two amazing people! They truly embraced each moment of their wedding day and enjoyed so much laughter with their family and close friends at Town Manor on the Lake B&B. Their day was classic and elegant with sprinkles of unique gold rose touches (which I LOVED!) It was just pure perfection… We just loved being around them, did I mention how funny Allyssa is? She will make you smile at any second with her hilarious puns and Daniel laughs at ALL of it! They compliment each other beautifully and we are so glad to have witnessed Allyssa & Daniel’s love through our lens.

Sarah + Brett Step Into The Limelight | Sirata Beach Resort | St. Pete Beach, FL

Brett proposed in Maui on the Kaanapali beach during the sunset on August 3rd 2019. Brett loves how Sarah tells funny stories and makes him laugh. He loves her sense of adventure and how much she cares about other people. Sarah loves how patient, kind, and caring Brett is. He is really great at making Sarah smile and keeping things light when she is taking things too seriously. Together, they like to take their boat out to the lake and go wake-boarding. They both enjoy going to the mountains to snowboard and like going on runs together. When at home, they like watching shows or movies on the couch and hanging out with their new puppy Zeke! They are both big sports fans and enjoy watching and attending sporting events for all of our SF Bay Area teams.

Sarah's parents recently retired and moved to Florida. Sarah always wanted a beach wedding so St. Pete Beach was the best option for us! It is their happy place so the Sirata Beach Resort was just perfect for this beautiful and happy couple.

The wedding day itself was one that we will always remember because of all the beautiful moments that happened on this day. The first looks were most import to Sarah since she needed to see her parents before the ceremony to help calm her just enough before seeing Brett. The father and daughter moments were truly the sweetest and had everyone (including us) in happy tears!

The time finally came to see Brett during the first look. It would be just the two of them together, having a special little moment right before the ceremony. They exchanged vows and held each other in their arms until it was time to get married!

The ceremony was full of funny and happy moments while gathered at the beach with a vast ocean in the background. The reception was decorated with a tropical flare where ever possible with touches of greenery and beach elements. It was such a great day with Sarah and Brett and all their adored friends and family. Congrats to the newlyweds!!!

Whitney + Michael Step Into The Limelight | Postcard Inn On The Beach | St. Petersburg Beach, FL

Get to know Whitney & Michael:

How/when did you meet each other: 12/29/10 - We met in Detroit at Joe Lewis Arena. We were both there with our best friends to watch the Great Lakes Invitational. Whitney, was with her sister and her friend Phil and Mike was with his best friend Shane. Shane and Phil played hockey together so we met through them.
How did he propose: On a mountain in Keystone, CO. It was beautiful in the snow, day after valentines day and two days before our birthdays.
What do you love about each other:
Michael about Whitney: spontaneous energy, joy for life and having fun
Whitney about Michael: His kind heart, passion for life, and positive/calm energy
Interests/hobbies you enjoy doing together: Boating, Hiking in the Mountains, Good night out for food and drinks, great cocktails, and Sunday fundays watching football and chilling.

Their bohemian, tropical inspired wedding was the perfect way to celebrate their love for each other… it was laid back and filled with sweet moments. Whitney has the most amazing laugh, it fills up a room and from the start of the day we could feel their love all around. We could not have asked for a better beach day, the sunset was perfect and their love shined through beautifully. Cheers to an amazing couple! Whitney & Michael ❤

Marisa + Jacob Step Into The Limelight | The Ringling Ca’ D'Zan Mansion | Sarasota, FL

𝐹𝓊𝓃, 𝓇𝑜𝓂𝒶𝓃𝓉𝒾𝒸, 𝒷𝑒𝒶𝓊𝓉𝒾𝒻𝓊𝓁 …

Marisa and Jacob met at The Florida State University during Fall 2012! Their sorority (Alpha Chi Omega) and fraternity (Kappa Sigma) were partners for FSU's Homecoming events. Ironically. They were both on the Homecoming Committee together. Jake was in charge of recruiting Alpha Chi and organizing all of the social events, while Marisa was in charge of building the float. Marisa claims that Jake did not show up to any Committee meetings but that will be a never ending debate! It did not quite start for them then but Jake had his eye's set on Marisa. He persistently asked Marisa's best friend about her. This made it's way full circle back to Marisa and peaked her interest! After Jake graduated from FSU in May 2014, he frequently visited for football games and their friendship rekindled. At the start of 2015, their love story officially began! They went to an FSU basketball game with friends and went out that night to celebrate the victory. Go Noles! They have not stopped talking since that day 4 and a half years ago!

Jake and Marisa travelled to San Francisco for a getaway but Jake had a secret plan. On the most perfect day of the trip, he told Marisa that he had a special lunch date planned for them. He wanted to check out the Golden Gate Bridge to take a picture and grab lunch in Sausalito. They hopped in an Uber and Marisa unknowingly blabbered away. Jake had hoped the Uber would drop them off at the top of the hill for a short walk to the observation deck but the road was blocked off. Marisa (being Marisa) huffed up the side of the hill to the top in her white jeans and bootie heels. Jake was so patient and encouraging to get her to the very top! Jake asked a random person (that happened to be decked out in photography gear) to take their picture on his cell phone. After two snaps, the random person asked if he could take some shots on his professional cameras and send them to us. He said that he frequently takes pictures of tourists! Jake was quick to say yes at this potentially odd request. Before Marisa knew it, he was down on one knee and popped the question! They have every moment leading up to and after the proposal captured by the planned photographer with a beautiful view of San Francisco.

Jake and Marisa love each other for their personalities, empathy, kindness and thoughtfulness. Together they enjoy spending time on the water and at the beach, traveling, growing the Saturday morning market, their golden doodle Brody and watching football (FSU!).

Because they love being on the water and the Ca' D'Zan's location is beautiful it was a perfect venue for their romantic, elegant wedding black-tie. Marisa has done some traveling and loved the style of the Ca' D'Zan. All colors were chosen to softly compliment the Ca' D'Zan. Oh! And The Ringling is tied to FSU and that is where they met!! Besides the ceremony where they were married in front of all their family and friends, the SUPER FUN dance party was the favorite part of their day!!!!

Bringing together their special friends and family and showcasing their love was so special. During the ceremony the eyes connecting as Marisa walked down the aisle and the first kiss were so romantic! But nothing topped when their eyes locked on each other during the “I DO!”.
