HONG AND KYLE FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | CRYSTAL BALLROOM TAMPA | TAMPA , FL

It is always such an excitement and pleasure to meet up with lovely couples for a second chance to capture essential parts of their lives. This time around, I had the opportunity to work with the beautiful Hong and her now husband, Kyle. We started our day at the Wyndham Grand at Clearwater Beach to get ready for the big day. Once everyone was ready, Hong made it down to do a first look which happened outside the Wyndham on a balcony with Clearwater beach in the background. This first look gave the couple a chance to have an intimate moment together and within each other’s arms, they relaxed and comforted each other in preparation for their special day.

We made our way to Crystal Ballroom in Tampa where they would say their I Do’s and partied the night away! The room was beautifully lit with draped fabric in the ceilings and turquoise and silver details throughout the room. they said their I Do’s and tied the knot with a kiss and went right into the celebration full of great authentic food, good music and dancing.

What a great time we had alongside Hong and Kyle, it was truly a night to remember. Wish you both a very long and happy life together with many more adventures. Congratulations to the newlyweds!!!

KERI AND MATTHEW FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | SALVADOR DALI MUSEUM | ST. PETERSBURG, FL

Keri and Matthew were SO amazing to work with. They met online and hit it off! On their very first date Matthew brought Keri a potted Calla Lilly, remembering that she had told him that she didn’t like cut flowers. Keri fell in love with his sweet demeanor and huge heart, the fact that he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, never a mean thing to say about anyone. Matthew fell in love with Keri’s perseverance, strength and of course her beauty. Together they make such a sweet, beautiful, kind and wonderful couple.

With Keri’s love of all things art and literature and Matt’s love of Surrealism and Dali together they planned an amazing wedding. Guests were greeted by an Alice in Wonderland video displayed on the outside wall of the museum. Keri descended the amazing Helical staircase in the middle of the Dali museum and met Matthew on the middle landing to speak their vows and exchange their rings with all of their family and friends in attendance.

After their gorgeous ceremony on the staircase, they invited all of their guests to join them outside in their Garden Wonderland. The reception was absolutely amazing and so unique with the Alice in Wonderland theme, vintage books and details, teacups, moss, flowers, candles and amazing lighting to finish it off. The Mad Hatter inspired cake was a work of art.

SANTA AND LENNY FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT |BAY PRESERVE At OSPREY AND MICHAEL'S ON EAST | SARASOTA, FL

Santa and Lenny first met each other on a blind date set up by her best friend Thuy and they have been together ever since!! Lenny set up a romantic surprise proposal earlier this year… on the beach at sunset, a candlelight picnic where he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.

Together they planned a perfect wedding day where they would say their vows under a beautiful oak tree with the water as their backdrop. We did have a little rain but it stopped in time for them to say their vows outside on the water just as planned!

The Bay Preserve at Osprey is such a lovely place to get married! There is a historic house with amazing architecture and amazing natural light. Followed by a reception at the amazing Michaels on East wine cellar. The reception was romantic and elegant, with candle light everywhere, wine bottles from floor to ceiling and a wonderful dinner, dancing, toasts and cake cutting. Santa and Lenny did an amazing first dance for everyone, she even changed into her special dancing dress and then back to her wedding dress to dance with her dad.

It was an amazing day and I am so honored to have been a part of their special day!

KIMBERLY AND CHRISTOPHER FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | ST. RAPHAEL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH AND THE BAYOU CLUB | ST. PETERSBURG, FL

They met over three years ago ~ how do I know? Well, he sent her flowers on her wedding day with three red roses for each year they dated and for the beginning of the story it was a beautiful one. Kim wanting to make a positive change in her life signed up for a personal trainer and Chris, beginning a career in his did not fathom that he would be meeting the love of his life and best friend that day. Neither were looking, both were taking positive steps and in the process found one another. Through their time together they found God and one another. A beautiful and significant dedication. And then, on 11.11.2017 they said their I do’s and I will infront of their loved ones at St. Raphaels Catholic Church where Kimberly’s family has had history in building and Kim herself had her first beginnings there.

It was a lovely day, I was so encouraged by these two as their positivity and beauty shined through the entire evening! They are both kind and are very much ying to the other’s yang. They floated their way through the day with so much love, laughter and celebration! Congratulations to Kimberly and Christopher! May God continue to shine down on you with the love and light you exude on others and more so!

LAURA AND MARK FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | TRADEWINDS ISLAND GRAND RESORT | ST. PETERSBURG, FL

Laura and Mark were married in a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Tradewinds Island Grand Resort in St. Petersburg, FL! This sweet couple was a joy to work with and I loved capturing their beautiful beach wedding! The bride grew up in Florida and the groom moved here from Illinois so planning a beach wedding where their friends and family could join in as a destination made perfect sense! The couple met while working together in 2014 and discovered they had a huge love of their mutual favorite band Def Leppard!

I loved the story Laura shared about their engagement and why they love each other: “Mark Proposed at the Def Leppard concert, of course. Months prior to the proposal he had bought me a British flag to take to our next concert hoping we could get the band to sign it. In August we attended our 3rd Def Leppard concert together. After the concert was done we went to stand in line for a Meet and Greet, hoping we could get lucky and meet the members. We were the last ones in line so unfortunately we could not meet them. However the security guard, who happened to be Mark's friend, took the flag backstage for the members to sign. When we received our flag I opened it up and read, "Would you Marry Me?" Next thing I know Mark is kneeling on one knee proposing. It was the most perfect way he could have done it and a day we will never forget! We love that we can always be ourselves around each other no matter what. We can laugh at anything together and have many of the same values. We bring out the best in each other. Relationships always take hard work, but we truly have an effortless love. We love going to concerts and having fun. We also love going on adventures such as camping, biking, and fishing. We like binge watching TV series and going to the movies. We really like doing anything and everything together!”

The couple’s wedding day brought beautiful weather and clear skies! It was a gorgeous day for a beach ceremony and everything went perfectly smooth! I loved the couple’s idea of doing a private first touch where they held hands and said a prayer together prior to their ceremony without seeing each other. I also loved seeing the bride’s brother on Face Time watching the ceremony from Afghanistan where he is stationed in the military. Watching the bride speak to her brother from so far away on her wedding day was very special! We were treated to a very beautiful sunset and a fun reception where the guests danced the night away! In a nod to their love of 80’s rock the couple’s guest book was a guitar of the groom’s that he has had most of his life which also made for an amazing shot of the couple’s rings!
