LANCE AND CHRISTIAN FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | THE FLORIDA AQUARIUM | TAMPA, FL

Lance and Christian met on Valentine’s Day at a local bar through an old roommate, their 2 minute introduction turned into a 4 hour conversation. Lance proposed to Christian and totally surprised him, with close friends and family together at a dinner party in December of 2015. Since they love kayaking, camping, traveling, and hanging out with friends there was no better place than the FL aquarium.  They chose the Aquarium not only for the beautiful setting but also to have an educational venue for the family and friends from out of town.

Lance and Christian had a unique backdrop, the beautiful Coral Reef Tank glowed behind them as they exchanged rings and spoke their vows.  Everyone then gathered in the mosaic room for the dinner and dancing.  One of my favorite parts was the musical number that Lance and his crew surprised Christian with.  It was choreographed with signs, singing and dancing and was a perfect touch to their unique wedding day. Family and friends celebrated the love of these two wonderful men at the wedding and into the night. I am so honored to have been a part of their perfect wedding day! Congratulations Lance and Christian!!

NUWANDI AND DOUG FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | POWEL CROSLEY ESTATE | SARASOTA, FL

Nuwandi and Doug had a beautiful destination wedding day at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota, FL.  Guests flew in from around the world to join these two in a stunning outdoor ceremony.   Doug was on vacation from Texas when he met Nuwandi on Sep 28 2013. Their amazing wedding took place on the couple's 4 year anniversary!  The cocktail area theme was centered around Texas/Florida and the reception and the rest of the wedding day was themed with a seductive old Hollywood look.  After the ceremony guests then moved inside to enjoy a lavish reception designed by MMD Events. After dinner, Eric with Grant Hemond and Associates got the party started with some great tunes! It was a beautiful wedding day, congrats to the newlyweds! : )

JACLYN AND JACOB FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | HILTON CLEARWATER BEACH RESORT AND SPA | CLEARWATER BEACH, FL

Jaclyn and Jacob first met at a friends wedding in October 2014, where they were introduced to one another by the newlyweds! Jacob and the groom attended Archbishop Moeller High School together and Jaclyn attended Ohio University with both the bride and groom. They talked all evening and made plans to catch back up after Jaclyn moved to Texas in January 2015. The timing for them was perfect....fate at its finest!

Jacob had planned a ten day summer vacation to Europe - first stop, Paris, France followed by a wedding in Valladolid, Spain! Jacob spent months planning the trip and it was perfect! The second night in Paris they decided to spend the evening at the Eiffel Tower to relax, people watch & drink wine after a LONG day of site seeing....truly taking in the full European experience. They asked a French local to take their picture below the Eiffel Tower and right then Jacob got down on one knee to propose!

Jaclyn and Jacob got married at the Hilton at Clearwater Beach. They said their I-Dos in front of the gulf with just a few drops of wedding-rain blessings which then lead to a very sweet ceremony. Their intimate wedding was so beautiful and full of fun, laughter, sweet moments and so much dancing! It was truly such a fun night with these two and we couldn't get enough of them. Congrats to the newlyweds!!

RITA AND NICK STEP INTO THE LIMELIGHT | DOWNTOWN TAMPA | TAMPA , FL

From the first moment we said hello to Rita and Nick at our engagement session, I just knew we would have great chemistry and a wonderful session – and we sure did! Our original plan was thwarted because there was unexpected construction on the fountain at Hyde Park…BUT this was so meant to be and our impromptu alternative turned out to be even better! Rita and Nick love movies and concerts, so it was very fitting to begin at the historic Tampa Theater. We walked over to the beautiful steps of Le Méridien Tampa and then we saw a steeple in the distance. Rita and Nick mentioned that they are members at Sacred Heart church – which was just a couple of blocks away! How perfect!

Next we explored the Hillsborough River and took pictures with the fountain at Curtis Hixon Park, and then went across the river to University of Tampa to capture the skyline in the background. We ended our session on Harbour Island and we had such a beautiful sky just after sunset!

As for Rita and Nick’s love story, Rita says their relationship is just more evidence in my life that God exists.  Rita was 34 years old when Nick and she were matched up on eHarmony. She was pretty skeptical about online dating and Nick had only been living in Florida for a couple of years and was trying to meet new people.  Rita had a lot going on in her life at that time and was not the best at keeping in touch.  After her paternal grandfather landed in the hospital and later passed away, only days before her maternal grandfather also passed away, her mind was elsewhere. It was a difficult time and by the time she remembered she had been emailing back and forth with “some guy”, she felt it was too late to continue so she let it go.  Then in July of 2015, Rita was on a solo vacation in Miami Beach and decided to check out another online dating site for fun while laying out by the pool.  At this point, she was 38 and had pretty much given up on finding “the one”, so she looked at these sites as a way of meeting some interesting people, and getting some good laughs (there are some nutty people on there!)  Nick had just joined the site and came across my profile and remembered Rita…. Almost four years later!  In fact, Nick says he was in Afghanistan in 2013/2014, since he had somehow stored her email address from the time they had been emailing, Rita popped up as a potential contact on LinkedIn.  Nick was not so happily involved with someone else at the time and yet when he saw my picture then, he felt a tinge of regret that it had not worked out between them.  But God’s timing is impeccable and although they had a bit of a rough start, everything eventually fell into place and they couldn’t be a better match!

JESSICA AND JEFF FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | HONEYMOON ISLAND | DUNEDIN, FL

Jessica and Jeff had a wonderful, intimate celebration of marriage on this fine September afternoon. The couple which were already married last year through the courthouse decided to bless their wedding alongside their closest friends and adored family. They said their I-Dos near the coast on one of their special locations - Honeymoon Island. Their wedding consisted of details that complimented the beach style. Centerpieces made of sea glass, white candles, rustic wood, with silver accents and star fish and sea shells scattered all around. Truly a sweet and loving wedding it was! Congrats to the newlyweds!
