AMANDA AND NATHANIEL FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | TAMPA MARRIOTT WATERSIDE HOTEL AND MARINA | TAMPA FL

For most weddings, I typically will write up how they met and/or engagement but for these two after photographing their engagement session and wedding, I just LOVED both of their personalities! Amanda wrote the time that Nate proposed so well and it being so interesting, fun I have to use their words to set the tone of these two wonderful individuals.

'The plan was that Amanda would pick up Nate from the airport and the two of them would travel to (Nate's) family reunion together the following day.

Under any other circumstances, Amanda would have parked the car and met Nate at baggage claim, but she was operating on very little sleep and desperately wanted to pick up Nate, get takeout and go home for the night. Amanda got Chipotle and Nate got Zaxby's - the two couldn't be happier - or so she thought.

Finally, they make it to Amanda's apartment on the south side of Jacksonville and the two enjoy their guilty pleasures while watching the BET Awards. At Nate's request, Amanda gets up to retrieve Nate's drink and as she turns around to head back to the living room, she sees Nate, only a few inches away from her, falling to the ground. As he's going down, she hears a loud shredding sound, followed by a heavy thump. Confused and concerned, she asks Nate if he's alright. Seemingly okay, Nate pulls out a red box from his pocket, but Amanda fails to notice the box because all of her attention is focused on the gaping tear in Nate's jeans. Nate managed to tear his jeans from knee to crotch as he was falling to one knee and Amanda was understandably distracted.

Despite the rough landing, Nate continued with the proposal and opened the red box and pulled out a gorgeous ring and asked Amanda to marry him. Still, till this day, Amanda has no idea what Nate said during his proposal, but she will always remember the moment Nate split his pants."

On their wedding day, there was no split pants, no extremely tired individuals but instead we beheld two awesome individuals who travelled back to Tampa (Amanda's hometown) to say their I do's! The ladies and gentlemen both were so much fun and courteous. There was a buzz of excitement as the day flowed. Their humor, fun and blending of two wonderful families ensued as Amanda walked down the outdoor staircase of the Marriott, down an elegant black and white runner to a man that stood before her beaming as he watched her. They let the day flow the way it should and took in aspects along the way. The classic look of black and white with a pinch of chartreuse and gold. The day was bright but Nate and Amanda shined even brighter! We just loved how lovely these two were! You could hear how much they were loved by their family and friends, with positivity and joy, the officiant was handpicked and made it personal, the speeches by the best man and maid of honor were thought out and original. We took a ride to University of Tampa for a few moments with the bridal party and the two, laughter and dancing on the bus brought such a fun element and memory for everyone involved.  It was such a beautiful day for these two and we felt so blessed to be apart of this love and celebration. Their humor, kindness and love is one that can stand the test of time!

Please help me in congratulating Amanda and Nate! Yours was a special one, and thankyou for allowing us to document it! Here are some favorites from that day!

CHAYA AND MICHAEL FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | DON CESAR | ST. PETERSBURG, FL

Chaya and Michael met back in high school in 2004! These two have been together for 9 and a half years. Chaya loves Michael's drive and motivation and Michael loves Chaya's "weirdness" and together they enjoy great food and the beach, which is why they chose to get married at the Don Cesar on St. Petersburg Beach. These two had a delightful ceremony in the hotel's lush gardens, and then guests made their way to one of the hotels lovely ballrooms, laced with "old world elegance" just as Chaya dreamed. It was also important to Chaya to have her grandfather, Paw, who has passed away, to be apart of their special day as they were best friends, so they had their wedding day on his birthday, and Chaya wore his wedding band. These two had a beautiful wedding day and it was great to work with them. Congrats to the newlyweds! :)

MYKAL AND TAYLOR FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | THE DON CESAR | ST. PETERSBURG, FL

Mykal and Taylor were married in an elegant evening wedding at the Don CeSar Resort on St. Pete Beach, FL!  There is just something about this time of the year and weddings!  I don't know if it is just the warmth and cheer of the holidays or the beauty of the lights and decor but I just love weddings during the holiday season!  Mykal and Taylor love this feeling as well and chose to have their wedding ceremony at the beautiful Don CeSar the weekend before Christmas!  The bride envisioned a romantic candlelit evening ceremony in the courtyard and a sophisticated black tie reception in the grand ballroom.  Everything was so beautiful!  I loved Mykal's stunning ball gown and Taylor's choice of black bow tie.  I also loved how the ballroom was decorated with candles, crystals, white tree centerpieces and drapery.  It had a winter wonderland magical feeling!  I loved how romantic and glamorous everything felt!  I also loved working with this sweet bride and groom! The couple met 10 years ago in college at Florida State and have been together ever since even while living long distance while attending graduate school!  Taylor proposed while out on a run with their dogs and even hired a photographer to capture that memory for them which I loved to hear!  The newlyweds shared in an amazing wedding day with their family and friends!  Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Taylor!

KRISTI AND ROB FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | CHAPEL BY THE SEA AND CARLOUEL YACHT CLUB | CLEARWATER FL

Kristi and Rob met through a mutual friend. The two having such laid-back personalities and being such animal lovers, found love over the course of three years. They set a date for June 26, 2016 in Clearwater. A destination spot for all their family and friends coming from areas of Canada and Pittsburg to celebrate such a beautiful memorable day for the two. Even with the hot weather and passing storms, both Kristi and Rob were in high spirits. Kristi’s uncle officiated their beautiful ceremony at Chapel by the Sea and the family and friends heated up the dance floors to one of Florida’s finest bands, C’nergy at Carlouel Yacht Club. They ended the day with a beautiful pastel hue sunset. We loved this wedding so very much, congratulations Rob and Kristi. God bless you as you grow together!

LUCY AND ARNOUX FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | MARCO OCEAN BEACH RESORT | MARCO BEACH , FL

Lucy and Arnoux were married at the beautiful Marco Ocean Beach Resort on a beautiful Sunday morning in front of their loved ones. Both from the city, they wanted to step away from it for a relaxing beach wedding. They enjoy spending time together, watching movies, having deep conversations over dinners and of course traveling together.

“Arnoux is the most romantic man I met. Never stops impressing me with his tender gestures” Says Lucy. “He has a beautiful soul, one that is rare to find. It was easy to fall in love with his smile, his intelligence and overwhelming logic.”

“Lucia is amazing beautiful with a smile that can disarm the meanest soul on earth. Her persistence is unique, her intelligence mixed curiosity is as rare as the largest pearl deep in the sea. It was such uniqueness that would send me deep in the sea to look for. I was fortunate to have so close.” – Arnoux

During their beautiful ceremony, you could truly see how much they cared for each other and just how comfortable and safe they felt within each other’s arms. It was such a great pleasure to be there to witness true love. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
